The brunch was amazing! I love the fried chicken benedict. It was so tender and delicious. The corn bread wasn’t that special. I would definitely go back for the fried chicken though! Every plate looked amazing.

The staff was nice but the place is a bit too crowded and you sit very close to other tables.

Our server didn’t do a last call for food so we couldn’t order all the things we wanted, they just said “oh the kitchen is closed” and kinda made us feel like it was our fault.
We ordered a bottle of wine that it was not presented or poured for us to taste.
We waited a good 15 minutes just to be greeted and another 10 for water.
Honestly, as a server I was pretty shocked by how bad the service was.
The food was good. We ordered a “large” dish that was the size of an appetizer.
All in all, not worth it.

Pour le brunch, très décevant: bénédictines au poulet frit. Oeufs gluants manquant de cuisson, sauce hollandaise épaisse et en trop grande quantité, poulet frit ok, patates hask brown style McCain. 55$ avec la formule mimosa à volonté pour 2 heures mais le mimosa goûtait l'Orangina. Café ok sans plus. Serveuse attentionnée mais beaucoup d'attente pour être servi. Dommage, nos attentes dépassaient le résultat.

Absolutely amazing, i have no other words. Top floor is more like a restaurant to chill and has amazing food. Bottom floor is more of a dance place with louder music and equally as amazing. The Staff is very very nice. Highly recommend

My boyfriend made a reservation for a table 5 days in advance for his birthday. We requested a table (not bar or counter) + indicated that it was his birthday on the reservation. We arrive and the hostess, with the most flat, uninterested tone tells us there are no tables left - despite us booking a table in advance - so we took a seat at the counter and waited.
Once the waitress arrived, we expressed that we were quite upset about the seating situation to which she was quick to let us know that that wasn’t her issue, and we should order a drink to feel better. Nothing beyond that. Once the food arrived, the truffle mac&cheese was dry and the kale Cesar was very saucy - nowhere as top quality as the last few times we’ve dined here. Our waitress seemed to only give great service to her larger tables, and we were kinda just left there.

Overall, there aren’t enough words to describe how awful this experience was. We’ve been to this restaurant many times in the last year with no issues. It was supposed to be a fun night celebrating with drinks, great food and a good time, which ended up absolutely ruined by poor service and poor restaurant management.

For an $85 dinner (for just myself) before drinks which cost another $40+ for sparking water, a cocktail and glass of wine, I expected a lot more. Took over 15 minutes just for someone to take a drink order after we arrived, they tell you upon arrival you have 2 hours, so you’d think they’d get on with serving you right away. Food came before drinks, my watermelon and feta salad had only one square of feta and a couple of crumbs. The price was higher than the menu on the website, they didn’t have the wine listed on their menu that I wanted, the music is super loud, we had to shout to have a conversation and the tables are crammed together. Try not to sit at a seat on the aisle, people going to and from the bathroom are practically on top of you in the narrow aisle. The food was good, chicken portions were large, chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I didn’t find it anything special overall.

After my 2nd visit in the last year, I felt the need to post this review. Both times I was there found myself surrounded by beautiful people, including the service staff, as well as the absolutely fabulous and exciting music that made the atmosphere even better. The food there was second to none and you can tell by the way that it was both presented and prepared that it was done with the care and love of pure professionals and served up the same way right to my table. I was surrounded with family and friends, and we were all extremely pleased with our service and our meals and our drinks. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody who loves a great atmosphere good music and excellent waitstaff and wonderful food.

This was our first time eating here. We sat at the bar, a typical plan for us (when it’s our first time), to gauge the staff/atmosphere. Fortunately, the host sat us in the corner part of the bar. This gave us a 180+ degree of the front/back of house. We chatted with the bartenders and got to know/learn more about the food and atmosphere, including the LED sign-language sign (a “a-ha” moment). We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The food - as tasty and welcoming as the staff smiles and convos (cheesy, I know).

Restaurant qui n'honorent par les réservations prisent depuis plus d'une semaine. Nous avions une réservation pour 20h, confirmée 2 fois, et le restaurant a décidé de prendre un grand groupe et de ne pas nous garder notre table. Jamais plus!

We went there for dinner and the restaurant definitely has a fun vibe for friends or dates! The chicken was pretty good, didn’t blow us away but tasty nonetheless.

Le service a été très long de notre visite et pas des plus sympathiques. Concernant la cuisine, celle-ci est correcte et même plutôt bonne mais nous nous attentions à mieux au vue de la notoriété du restaurant. Cela reste quand même un bon restaurant où passer un bon moment compte tenu des tarifs vraiment correct. Donc un bon rapport qualité prix.

I usually love their chicken, and this would have been my 4th or 5th time. However, I find it either a hit or a miss. Not sure if there are different Chefs for different days, but at least for my Brunch last weekend, even if the portion was solid, however, it missed the finesse and taste.

This place has the best vibes, every person that works here is super kind respectful and makes you feel welcomed, the service is a 10/10 super fast, the dj is a 10/10 his really good, but you might be wondering why am giving it 2 stars well here’s why,
1st thing is the food was horrible, the food is expensive but taste horrible bought burgers, we bought more food that was on the menu to share, but the food either came very burnt or not well cooked it was just bad, we had already tasted most of the food that was on the menu so we knew that no other food was going to be better, we all went home hungry since we didn’t finish the food but however drinks are so good would suggest the owner to get a new chief the food can be more expensive but at least good, I would say this place is more of a bar then restaurant
Not writing this review to shame this place just an honest review for other people planning to go here and this place has lots of potential so May this can help them do a better job

Nous leur avons fait la remarque mais ils nous ont répondu qu'ils ne pouvaient plus commander de tequila Din Julio Blanco!
Ils devraient alors modifier leur carte!

Deliciously crispy chicken and amazing sauces! Service was also great which is very rare lately.

Not very attentive service, we needed to signal the waitress to get water and order. I had a whole piece of chicken untouched from breakfast and asked for take out. Only later I found that the chicken was left out and they only packed the bread.

We tried many things on the menu. The chicken was either burnt or undercooked. I think this is more a place for drinks, than to eat. Nothing stand out on the menu, except for their cheesecake! The cheesecake was excellent!

The only thing made me keep going to this place is the chicken and waffle? But seems like it's getting worst each time i go there, not the same tastes like my first day.

Great place to order from if you are celiac, or are planning to have dinner with someone who is. Have ordered here 3 times and their gluten free breaded chicken is delicious, and I appreciate that they keep it the same price as gluten-y counterparts.

Erreur de commande, burger qui ne se tient pas dès la première bouchée, j'ai déclaré une allergie et j'au fini par avoir une réaction car le plat qu'on m'a servi était OK, mais pas le plat de mon chum. On ne m'a pas avisée que le plat de mon chum contenait un allergène pour moi, malgré que je leur aie informés.

Le seul point positif: le poulet Vegan est un des meilleurs en ville

I think this place is underrated. Maybe people wanna go somewhere to show off but the vibe here is perfect. Music on a Saturday night is perfect. Oysters: 10/10. Cocktails 20/10. Buratta was perfection. Service was stellar. What more do you need? Price is typical of the area. Would definitely recommend.

It's nice to be able to reserve a table on the weekend for brunch. Our meals were pretty good with the exception of one of us who ordered the breakfast and it was cold. It being winter, it can definitely be a challenge keeping a breakfast plate hot.

Worst restaurant manager ever.
Booked for 9: 15pm we were left waiting on the entrance because they are overbooking the restaurant. We’ve been seated at 10: 00pm.
Only word from manager after 45mn was « if you’re not happy with that you can leave ».

The food has been just okay, nothing extraordinary. Their signature chicken is very juicy, but lacks a flavor punch. $28 for chicken and waffles is not worth it, but they are served in big portions! They also have excellent service - sits you down quick, always checking to make sure you are okay.

Deceptive and disappointing. On their website for the brunch menu they have a Brisket Benedict. I want to order it, the waitress admits it's no longer in the menu and it's been a while.

Also, on our table we ordered the Mockpick that included vegan drumsticks, a salad and cornbread.

First, they arrived with the drumsticks only. We're like, I think it's missing something, the waitress says no. We ask for the menu and shows her what's included.

Then she comes with the salad and says there's no more cornbread and she didn't offer nothing to replace it.

Ad at the end you want us to pay full price.

This place is just overrated. Go elsewhere for your brunch.

We had counter with a street view near the DJ.

Waffle+ deep fried chicken legs were spicy&sweet - interesting mixture and it offers a side dish of watermelon salad.
Birdbar Burger + 2$extra for changing to sweet potatoes fries-

Our waitress Martine knows well and gave good recommendations. The service was fast despite how pack the restaurant was. However, we couldn’t have much conversation due to the high volume of music and crowd.

We reserved for 4 people for my best friend’s birthday about a week in advance, and we were given 4 uncomfortable stools facing the exterior of the restaurant. The resto clearly overbooked and the staff was unhelpful and unsympathetic to our situation. We ended up scrambling to find a table at another restaurant.

Having recently been to this place, I would have to say I am truly disappointed. My girlfriend and I were placed on the patio outside and given our menus. After my girlfriend tried to adjust her seating, a broken piece of glass pierced her skin causing some bleeding. We noticed broken glass everywhere on the patio outside. After asking for a sanitization wipe and bandaid, it took the staff 10 minutes to go get that for us. But that’s not whats disappointing. The staff had the audacity to go take another order from a table before handing us the wipe and bandaid. This level of service is absolutely outrageous. Other than that - I ordered a popcorn chicken and chicken on waffles. The popcorn chicken arrived on time, but the chicken and waffles took an absurd 40 minutes to arrive. It’s almost like they forgot that I had ordered it. The food was cold when it came to me. Although the chicken and waffles was cooked well (and tasted well too), it was not a good experience eating it cold. The popcorn chicken on the other hand was dry. I would highly suggest training the staff before putting them up to this job.

Portions are large and I hope you like fried food because that's 95% of the menu. We had the pogo's, truffled Mac n cheese, various mixed chicken plates as well as the chicken and waffles.

The truffled Mac n cheese was truly nice and impressive. The fried chicken's batter however was to thick like way to thick, loaded with pepper and once you get through the wall of crust the chicken underneath is juicy but extremely salty.

The waffles are nice. Overall I'm wondering how with tip I spent 250$ for some fried chicken, Mac n cheese, pogo's and about 4 cocktails. Wasn't an awful experience but I doubt we'll be back.

Came here for brunch. Food was good but the place was super dirty dispite being very empty when my group was there. Their floors seem never cleaned. It was sticky to walk on and garbage all over the place. The tables were sticky too even after the waitress wiped it.

The service was bad too. There weren't many people when my friends and I went, probably 3-4 tables but the waitress straight up ignored us several times and we never got our water refilled.

And when asked to get the bills separated she was annoyed and rolled her eyes and still brought us one bill.

Definitely not a pleasant experience. Do not pay to eat at a filty dirty place and get horrible service, its really not worth it.

We went there on a Saturday night and the place was crowed. The staff was nice but many waiters didn't know what they were doing as they couldn't answer most of our questions. The fried chicken is good and portions are generous. According to my friend, the vegan chicken was bad so avoid it! Also, be aware that if you are more than 6 people it won't be easy to get a table.

Great service, fried chicken was very crunchy, 2 should be sufficient for most people! We had the plate with waffles, those were fantastic, the maple sirup and sriracha sauce was spicy but not over done. The melon feta salad was great. We had the key lime pie, perfect. We also had the churros, they were great, the only very small critic was that the caramel sauce was too salty for our taste. Also had the strawberry ginger cocktail which was spicy and tasty, really enjoyed.

Overall superb place! For people going there i recommend looking at the menu before, they have a fair selection but it’s not a large menu. Second note, if you take 2 or 3 pieces plate, the sides are extra.

This place disappointed me and I had gone to with lots of hopes.
The Decor is nice. It’s inviting and looks hipster chic in a way.
Trouble started by the inexperienced hostess/server who seated us. I had reserved in advance. We got a table right in front of the joining ends of two long seats that had many stains on them. There was no support of any foam or filling of the seat as it was the joining ends of two separate seats so my face was almost in the plate or I exactly felt like my face would be in my plate when the food would arrive. The plastic or glass separations they had installed between us and the table right next to us which didn’t have any space in between was also not cleaned.
The server asked what we wanted to drink and when I said mocha she had a face that could read not quite happy or maybe uncertain if they had it. I got two mochas. The first was alright. Actually one of the ok ones i had tried so far. The second one had a dead bubbly boiled foam with a patch of milk. Photos are attached.
The food was worse, not in taste so much but in presentation. I got the 21dollar fried chicken with avocado and fries. There were two tiny slim narrow strips of chicken that was over cooked maybe by 5 min. So not completely dry but noticeable for someone who knows cooking and a bit too fried. There was not much meat left basically to eat. 21 dollars not worth it. Overall it tasted good. Fries were really good. But all together left me underwhelmed.
Washrooms are nice however wasn’t completely clean that day. The walls and al are black so it tricks you to see the stains and all. But if you look well enough and not even closely, you can see it is neglected.

Such a wonderful experience with very nice staff. We had chicken and waffles (weekend brunch), and the fried chicken was extremely tasty, juicy and crunchy. The waffles were nice and fluffy and not dry. Very big quantity for the price:) and that watermelon/feta salad was so refreshing!

We were lucky enough to find seats on a Friday evening and really enjoyed dinning here. We had a really good Pinot Blanc and tasty fried chicken, the mac and cheese is also really good! Portions are great too. Thank you for the amazing service Elina.

The food was delicious. The chicken was very crispy and the jalapeno cornbread was really good. The restaurant is very trendy. My only complaint is the food is overpriced.

Food was tasty. Portion size also quite decent. But the dining experience was truly terrible. Our waiter completely ignored us all night. We had to forcefully get his attention in order to put our order in and to get the bill. It got to the point where we gave up and resorted to ask the busboy for help getting our bill.

I ordered 2 drinks and 35 minutes later we still didn't have them! There was 7 people on the terrace, the restaurant was empty and when we went inside the staff was talking among themselves. So we just got up and left. Horrible service.

Great service, food was amazing, terrasse had perfect balance of sun and shade. Our group tried 3 kinds of chicken and they were all perfectly cooked and super tasty. Only suggestion to improve would be the outdoor wooden benches are pretty uncomfortable.

Chicken was amazing and the selection of sauces a complete work of art. Great selection of side sauces! This place understands how sauces give your meal a "soul".

I had the brunch poutine, and my father had the avocado sandwich one. Mine was very good, but his was not outstanding enough for the price (a bit plain, but the fruits were super juicy). We also got 3 fried chicken which were terribly mediocre considering that the restaurant is called "bird"bar. Good ambiance with nice waitresses.

Le service étais correct, le poulet! Je m'attendais selon coup de food, à un gout vraiment spécial c'étais très ordinaire, assez tendre, panure très coriace, poulet pop corn trop cuit, les sauces? Du déjà vus, décevant dans l'ensemble, trop cher, une première et dernière visite. Peut être que coup de food exagère, Sébastien attention à tes commentaires! Désolé! J’espère que ça va servir à améliorer l'expérience des clients à venir.

Visite de ce resto suite à l'émission coup de food pour essayer le fameux poulet frit et malheureusement un peu déçu le poulet avec gaufre était très ordinaire et la sauce bizarre poulet popcorn un peu caoutchouteux par contre le porc pané délicieux 75$ sans boisson sans dessert pour 2 la facture est beaucoup trop salée pour la qualité des assiettes section bord de fenêtre tassé et les serveurs nous accrochait.nous ne croyons pas y retourner

Had a reservation yesterday for dinner. Nice decor albeit small. Was quiet for dinner but the service was excellent. I ordered a Bulleit Remedy (14$) and my wife a virgin mojito (6$) The Bulleit drink was quite bitter but that could of very well been just a poor choice on my part. The mojito was great! We ordered the Chicken wings with Yeongyem sauce (16$ for a dozen) as an appetizer, they were likely some of the best Ive ever had! Nice little crisp on the outside and sauce on top was the perfect complement. It was explained as a less spicy general tao similar sauce (quite accurate) We proceeded onto the truffle mac and cheese (19$) again a win. Creamy, cheesy and hard to stop eating. After, the fried chicken and waffles (29$) I was a tad disappointed here. It being the specialty, I had high hopes. It arrived with way too much sirop.that was poured over the chicken and waffles.thus the fried chicken was now soggy. The sirop had a bit of a spicyness to it as well. I would suggest ordering the sirop on the side instead. Provide a small cup of pure maple syrup or house syrup, would allow guests to add what they want. The waffle was good. The chicken being soggy was unfortunate, the breading seemed extremely thick and one of the chicken pieces was quite odd looking. Despite that, water was kept topped up and wet naps provided, albeit would be nice if they just put a handful of wet naps on the table rather thsn the 1 at a time approach. The watermelon, mint and feta salad was refreshing and they were very generous with the Feta! Overall an enjoyable experience, with some minor drawbacks. I have to say I am a very harsh critic when it comes to food! I will definitely be back! Nice decor, great service, and very good food. Thanks:)

I highly recommended bird bar, was my first time there and got served like a queen by Jonathan one of their waiters. Amazing food, drinks and ambiance. Can’t wait to go back and wouldnt ask to be served by anyone else he was really outstanding.

Service is exceptional, friendly and helpful staff, amazing food! I shared a raclette of cold cuts and cheese and everything was a lovely surprise. I ordered the chicken fried rice as it was one of the more affordable options and I want looking for anything heavy, and it was delicious! My friends had ordered their vegan fried "chicken", as well as some popcorn chicken and everything was super tasty! Their drinks were great as well, I took a refreshing cocktail called Winter Spritz and loved it. Not to forget theres a secret speakeasy bar in the basement for after hours ;) the dj was awesome as well, bringing back awesome hits from the 80's all the way to today in a flawless manner.

Fried chicken was decent, mac and cheese was pretty tasty, waitresses were friendly, but it was a long wait before we got our food.
