Superbe place, bon restaurant, bonnes bières, très bons choix de repas, belle ambiance. Bon service et de bons conseils.

I will start by saying that I honestly love to support local businesses.
Went their for lunch and the service was just so atrocious it ruined the entire experience.
There were maybe about 50+ customers with only 2 waiters/waitresses and 1 hostess. Got our appetizer before our drinks.never was offered a 2nd drink.had to flag waiter to place order for lunch.
Once we were finished our lunch, our empty plates stayed at the table for 30+ minutes all the while trying to flag the waiter for the bill and were being ignored.
Food was delicious

Internationally recognized as 1 of the 5 best places to go for a beer in Canada. New and better food menu. Joyous times, no?

Food was great, I had the poutine and it was amazing. Service was also great did not have to wait too long. They also have a big selection of drinks on tap.

Nice ambiance after a nice hike. Pleasantly surprised to find a DJ spinning vinyl under a tent, mid Saturday afternoon.

I thought the food was excellent. Friendly service even on a super busy night. Will most def go again and recommend to others.

Absolutely terrible to be honest. We like to support local businesses and are in desperate need of a good place in Aylmer, but L’autre Oeil falls short big time. Three times in a row now we are told a 30 minute wait for a table, then another 50 minute wait for our food. This last time, We decide to stay as we figure where else can we go after waiting all this time. After watching tables that arrived after us get service, we inquired about our food. It finally came after 65 minutes and was stone cold. All three plates appeared to be old food that was slapped together in the most forsaken way. At this point, after our last experience there was as bad, we got up and left. I simply couldn’t give this place another dime from my pocket. We were clear with the waiter the food and service is just unacceptable; however I don’t think they really care obviously. I went home and made us tomato sandwiches.

Came here for the wing special ($8 for 1lb on Mon/Tues), good price but taste wasn’t that great. Do not need to buy anything else for the wing special, it’s just dine-in only. Service was good, they checked on us a few times.

Great spot to hang out! Atmosphere is cozy and elegant for a pub. Obviously a great beer selection, but something for everyone.

The vibe at this bar was unbelievable. The atmosphere was just right and the staff were more than friendly. The drinks were on point and the selection was massive. I can’t wait to go drink on the patio next time. And my friend obviously loved his burger and fries.

Amazing tap beer selection, food was quite good. Some bottled beers are way overpriced. Big patio. Great atmosphere.

Love this place, selection of beers is out of this world! Great staff and service. Your lucky if you catch live entertainment. Nice patio. Swing by 5e Baron down the street!

After our second disappointed experience we decided to write this review. They simply don't have enough staff to deal with the amount of tables they have. Even though we had slow service the main issue we had was 100% from the kitchen. This location can be quite busy especially when their patio is open. I don't know if the kitchen is too small or simply that they can't output the volumes required. But we waited 30 min to be seated and than another 50 min to receive our meals. Our plates were cold and tasteless. I'm all in for supporting locale restaurant but never again I will be wasting my time with tasteless food. The owner needs to step up and staff this place appropriately and stop pretending it's simply a spot for beers. Food should be their main attraction rather than beers like any respectable restaurant. The food is below what you could expect.
