Edit: First time coming back since I started climbing. Fingers and toes are now stronger, I can climb harder boulders and try more stuff out! Really loved the problems here. There's a huge variety of holds and problems to suit virtually any climbing style.

Incredible setting in the gym with a ton of variety as to styles. The coffee, food and liqour was a great touch. The clothing/merch shop had pretty much all of the most popular shoes as well. Cant wait for my next visit

I love this bouldering place. Their color hold system makes it very easy for newcomers to understand. There are multiple problems for different levels, and walls are reset every week. They also used to give out chalk for free, but due to COVID circumstances, they have stopped.

Plenty of routes, loads of space, everything is clear when you are on the wall. My only complaint is that sometimes it is a bit too crowded for my tastes and it is quite difficult to pass through one of the back areas as you do have to walk on the padding.

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Lots of climbing zones that are suited for all levels and well maintained.

Huge! Great variety of different problems suited for all styles. Can get busy but there is so much surface area to climb there barely any waiting. Free chalk was a surprise. Changing rooms were spacious.

Certainly a must-try. Great activity solo or with a group. The staff was friendly.

One of the best if not the best bouldering gym in montréal. Every monday they change a few of the problems so it never gets boring. Perfect for beginner, intermidiate or experienced climber

Very good vibe and fair prices. There were so many different walls and problems that you can go with a group of people at different levels and not run out of problems to try for anyone!

It is a lot of fun. It can be very challenging in the beginning. The hands hurt a lot, however it's all worth it when you get to finish a challenge. It can be a little crowded but the atmosphere is super chill and friendly. I support recommend if you are looking for having fun, or doing an activity that is challenging and not just repetitive, or if you want to get physically stronger (not big though, but stronger) or to just meet new people.

Great wall selection. For beginners and experts. The free chalk bins are a nice touch. Very crowded during early evenings though.

Great place to climb with a wide variety of walls and level of difficulty. Something for everyone. Relaxing ambiance and plenty of smiling people.

Une grande variété de problèmes (blocs) à essayer avec une belle gang autant au niveau des grimpeurs que du staff.

Super endroit pour l'escalade, le staff est gentil et les parcours sont sont changés chaque semaine alors ce n'est pas redondant!

My first time there, my kids are regulars there, great fun and workout.have the scrapes to prove it.if a 55 year can try it, anyone can, highly recommended

Super place pour faire du Bloc. Les voies sont originales. A chaque semaine il y a une section qui change avec de nouvelles voies de tous les calibres. Pas de surprise, il y a un calendrier qui annonce les changements d'avance. Si il y en a une que vous travaillez, ben vous savez quand elle va disparaitre. C'est super propre (je ne peux pas dire que c'est comme ca dans tous les gyms d'escalade.), Les gens sont très sympa. Le stationnement sur la rue est facile. J'adore cet endroit.

Très belle place ou faire du bloc! Les employés sont également chaleureux. Petit B molle peu de stationnement.

Great bouldering gym, lots of space to practice. People are friendly there and will always be willing to help you.
There is a place to stretch or workout, some food is available too. You can also buy some shoes on the spot.

I blistered my hands after half an hour of climbing but I kept going at it for another half hour. Then again, I don't work my hands too much. It's a great place with plenty and variety when it comes to difficulty. Whether you're a beginning climber or an experienced climber, you'll most likely find something to do here.

Ambiance géniale! Les gens s'observent, s'encouragent et se donnent des conseils. Il y a beaucoup de variétés de pistes et de niveaux de difficulté. Le bloc est un monde en soi et Bloc Shop sait faire vivre ce monde avec brio.

Cool place pour l'escalade! Les niveaux varient vraiment dépendamment des semaines et qui fait les voies. Le staff est vraiment sympa et souriant.

Ce qui est moins cool:

#1 Les compétitions

À chaque fois qu'il y a une compétition (il y en a beaucoup par année) tu ne peux pas vraiment grimper alors que tu es abonné. C'est remplis de monde ou c'est fermé aux abonnés pour grimper.

#2 Les augmentations de prix

J'ai l'impression que les augmentations de prix ont été faits pour payer ces compétitions et pallier l'ouverture de la succursale d'Hochelaga. Deux augmentations en peu de temps. De 57,49$ à 68,99$ à 80$ ça fait une sacré différence. L'argument est que tu as accès à deux gyms de bloc. La réalité c'est que les deux gyms sont vraiment loins d'un et de l'autre. ET après avoir parlé à plusieurs autres membres, ON S'EN FOUT. On y va pas.

#3 Le sang sur les murs et sur les modules.

Je vois souvent des tâches qui sont là pendant des semaines. C'est vraiment dégueux.

Belle place d'escalade. C'est un endroit à bloc donc tu n'es pas attaché quand tu montes et tu tombes sur des matelas. Les voies sont plutôt techniques mêmes dans les niveaux débutants et intermédiaires. Environ 20$/séance (incluant la location des souliers)

Clean change rooms, friendly staff, cafe, and shop. Chalk is included. Price is a bit high but the place is well run so the money is well spent.

Pour sortir une journée entre ami, amateur d’activité physique et d’escalade, c’est l’endroit par excellence.

Le meilleur du bouldering a Montreal! Super ambiance, communauté vraiment forte, beaucoup de routes lisibles, aérées et souvent remises a jour! Qui plus est, souvent de nombreux événements.

Dommage que ce soit si loin du centre

J'ai testé peu de centres de bloc mais j'ai commencé a escalader au Bloc Shop, j'y suis retourné 1 an après et wow, j'aimerais que Bloc Shop soit dans ma ville! Il est spacieux, il donne la poudre de magnésie, il n'est pas rempli d'enfants, il est très challengeant, quel que soit votre niveau, il offre le stationnement, des collations, etc. J'y vais chaque fois que je suie aa Montréal.

Love the atmosphere and love to climb here. Lots of problems that are changed regularly to keep things interesting. Great friendly staff as well!
