I’ve been seeing Demo & Cara for my hair long before Bloke & Burd existed. While their talents & service have always been unmatched, it is so nice to have a place where their standards for service meet you at the front door. It carries through every step of your visit, from the friendly welcome, to the glass of wine, to the easy conversation you have through the service. The talents they have for their craft are next to none. Nowhere else I would ever go for my hair.

Cara always knows exactly what I and my hair need. She never recommends a service that I don't need, even when I book for it. The service by everyone is top-notch! Everyone is so friendly, great cappucinos (even with non-dairy milk if you need it!) and other lovely beverages. Great hair products, and great results. I've converted my whole family, they all go here now:) thanks Bloke and Burd!

During the visit, the entire staff, was so attentive to me. Constantly asking if I wanted water, or an espresso, or if I needed literally anything else.

On top of that, the results of my colour and the cut are amazing. Started receiving compliments right away.

I live in the east end of Montreal and go all the way to the West Island to get my hair colored at this Salon because no one does my hair like Cara does. She is also a lovely person and that makes the experience even better. Congrats on the new salon!

Hands down the best salon! I’ve been seeing Cara for my colour and she never disappoints! The whole staff there is amazing. I’ve been going to Cara for about 12 years now. She is honestly the most amazing artist/colorist. Even after moving to Boston I continue to come back to Montréal to get my hair done by her! She’s incredibly knowledgeable, super outgoing and always knows how to get me the color I want (even when I have a hard time explaining to her what I want LOL). I’m honestly surprised that there have been people who didn’t give Block & Burd 5 stars. I can understand that people may think it’s on the pricey side but trust me you are paying for perfection and QUALITY results. And I also feel so welcomed and pampered when I’m there! It’s such a treat. If you are looking for the best and want to feel your best, this is the spot.

Cara has done my color for over 10 years. I was so excited and more than pleased to follow her to her own location on Lakeshore. She is attentive and has an amazing work ethic. She is also extremely honest and always makes sure customers walk out pleased. The new location is gorgeous and welcoming. The staff are super friendly and skilled.

I LOVE LOVE THIS SALON! Cara has been colouring my hair for over 15 years. She is the master of her craft, I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Her new salon is so relax & laid back, you feel like you’re going to hang out with your girlfriends while you get your hair done, sip on a coffee or a glass of rosé. Cristina has been styling my hair for almost 10+ years. I always know I’ll leave the salon feeling like a million bucks after seeing these two ladies. Cara is the best colorist in my honest opinion and trust me I’m picky. I love that everybody there does amazing blowdries so you can book an appointment with anybody. I have had my hair styled by both Christina’s and Demo and I’ve been happy every time. Everybody is friendly and inviting. The new location is beautiful and perfectly located. I highly recommend!

Bonus they have the most amazing stylists and colorists who go the extra mile everytime. (Even offering to go get my car in an ice storm and working through power failures with flashlights)

I’ve bounced from stylist to stylist for years trying to find that Unicorn and this is it. So much attention and care was put into getting me the look I wanted, and one that actually worked for my hair type. The talent, the atmosphere, and even their product choice is unparalleled. I’d seriously spend half a day in transit to get there, Cara and Cristina are stuck with me for life.

I would not trust my hair to anyone else. Going to Bloke and Burd is always the most fun experience. The salon is gorgeous and you immediately feel like you are home.

Cara absolutely nails my hair colour each and every time. I give her an idea of the direction I want to go, and leave the rest to her. She has brought me from medium brown to a beautiful blonde that is glossy, shiny and healthy, never over processed.

Demo always gives the absolute best cuts and styles and always seems to know exactly what I want and need without me even telling him. I have thin, limp hair and he manages to give it fullness and volume that wouldn’t exist without his amazing technique. He takes the time to explain to me how to handle and style it at home, which is so important to me.

The best of the best in this salon! Highly recommend to anyone who wants to up their hair game!
