Unbelievable!

If you enjoy waiting in line for >30 minutes, for an overworked teller to help you, then THIS is the bank for YOU!

1 or 2 tellers working out of a potential 7-8 stalls. While the managerial types are sitting comfortably in their offices, eyes glued to computer screens, oblivious to the unbearable long line-ups.

Ce succursale bmo est le pire a montreal des employés impolis et pas professionnels incompétents surtout la grosse grecque dame reponsable ils ont fermé mon compte sans mon constamment j allais le faire dû aux problèmes reptitif avec ce banque bmo a du mauvais réputation a cause de cette succursale

I went to this my usual bmo location to get a new debit card, the girl at the teller counter was in a hurry since the beginning of transaction and chatting with her co-worker (girl also) beside, while as a customer waiting in front.
She told me new card will work on my phone.
I went on the side and kept trying, didn't work so I came up to the same teller and explained it to her she was still in hurry to explain and didn't want to help.

I am a BMO client, both for my personal and professional affairs. For more than a quarter of a century.

For the past 10 years, my link with the Bank is through emails and telephone conversations, with specific representatives assigned to my accounts.

They are very, very good; said email/telephone representatives that is. In all regards. Impeccable. I have never met them. But they are always there. Fast, sharp, clever, efficacious, knowledgeable, reliable.

I can add that I am also very satisfied with BMO-Investorline. For the past 25+ years.

But recently, I had no choice but to deal with this particular BMO Branch.

The experience was - and still is - just awful.

The problem is not their niceness, the «warmth» of their services, etc, but rather, their lack of enough competency, their professional shortcomings, their slowness, their confusion. They simply do not have what you want, what really counts, when you are dealing with a Bank!

Sorry, but this is not a serious Bank Branch, for any serious banking.

Perhaps they have the right potential, but they need to get their act together.

I guess many negative reviews come from the bank products experience and not from this particular branch.
Although I do most of my bank interaction online, I had to book several in-person appointments at this branch. Every visit was a smooth experience. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The timing is respected.
However I have chosen to close all my accounts as I had some bad experience with my credit card due to some inter-department bureaucracy. Although being finally resolved successfully, the situation went out of control just too much.
Overall I recommend to give the bank a try, and see if their services work for you. They have many interesting and competitive banking products to offer. I still own several their ETFs at a brokerage account at other financial institution.

A VERY elderly woman who was struggling with her walker came in asked the assistant manager who was sitting at her desk using her computer to help her with her banking because she couldn’t stand in the long line up. (19 people - 2 tellers on a Friday afternoon).
The assistant manager refused and told her to sit and wait for her turn to come up. The older woman started to walk away - to which the assistant manager yells back to her loudly “Why don’t you just use the ATM? ” - The assistant manager continued working on her computer. The elderly woman left. Could not give less of a ***k.

J’ai mon entreprise et je suis avec eu depuis 2015. Je n’ai jamais eu de retour d’appel de leur part, j’ai pourtant envoyé 10 courriel à Jackie et Katerina.
Je pense à déménager mes avoirs dans une autre institution bancaire.

Had made an appointment to open an account today. I could see that the person I was to meet was occupied with someone else. Another member of the staff asked if he could assist me instead.
They had common sense and decency.
They respected my time.
They showed great team work.
They earned my account!

Service épouvantablement long.
Le caissier gerant trouve ca drole de faire attendre tout le monde 45 min et part en pause dans votre face. Ridicule cette succursale

Best bank I would say in Montreal I have been here almost 3 years have multiple accounts no issues what so ever. My personal experience with the tellers is great here. Don't know why people are reviewing like this.

The wait time to see a teller is ludicrous and they have at the most, 2 tellers on while the others are doing administrative duties. Poor customer service and you cannot do any teller transactions on Saturday. Not my favourite bank by far.

Total disappointment!
They had been very unprofessional since the beginning, when an agent booked us an appointment and told that we could open account online and can just visit the bank in a week to get the card, and it will be ready. He would even gave us appointment on email, upon arrival after leaving the job earlier to be at the bank during opening hours, we were told there is no card rather we had to book appointment for the procedure to start all over. The account did not exist too! So what they had been doing on call, wasting our time or what? Why to lie that the card is waiting and book an appointment to pick?
Second, the promotional account that you still see to open and get $350 promotional money, even after fulfilling all the impossible requirements, this money was never deposited to the account, specifically opened under these promotional criteria. We contacted the manager and he always told to get back in a while that took him forever. So big NO to believe. I am particularly talking about this branch that deliver the promise. The manager will never get back to you!

Third, even after opening a saving account with them over half a year now, mortgage pre-approval is a big and too long thing to get. Let alone, what they will do when offer is done and final approval cant wait that long. We kept on writing to the manager and she is constantly giving dates, and never did the job.

Very very disappointed!

Pire service, jamais vu. Pour les prets etudiant de gouvernement ne vous adressez pas. Le service par téléphone pas disponible. Apres 5 semaines le dossier pas encore ouvert.

Toujours manque du personnel, donc les clients doivent attendre longtemps pour un simple service.
La qualité des services offerts n’est pas au R-V.
J’y vais une fois par mois et je dois prévoir au moins 45 min.

Worst branch and I might add bank ever.i wired some money abroad and than I realized I made a mistake in the info about the person I'm sending money tooso I right away within ten minutes went back and cancelled the money transfer and they told me the money will return to my account within two working days.will it's been seven days and nothing yet. I have to say that BMO is a problematic bank. I'm giving them too much of my time

Tried to call this branch for 2 weeks, either a answering machine came on, I left a message no one called us back, I sent emails to different workers at this branch never got a email in return, ridiculous, we are talking our Business Accounts to a different BMO in Chomedy.

Impossible de rejoindre un agent de la succursale par téléphone. Ça fait plus d'un mois que j'attends ma carte de crédit. On me dit que cela va être livré par courrier Express en 3 jours à la succursale. Toujours pas de nouvelle à la fin de la semaine. Pire banque que je connaisse à ce jour!

J’avais écrit 1 chèque avec un montant de 208$ Pour mon condominium. Cette chèque est déposé par administrateur de condo dans cette banque et caissière à retiré 2088$ sur mon compte td pour 1 chèque de 208$. Une différence de 1880$ pour 1
simple chèque, quelle service inefficace qu’une caissière surveille pas les chèques et elle fait n’importe quoi avec votre argent. Honte à cette banque avec ses employés incompétent. Juste à éviter.
