BMO Bank of Montreal

I went to the BMO bank at Rockland to pay my bills, on January 7,2023, at 2: 17 pm. I had to pay 700 dollars. When I went to the counter, a man at the counter with long hairs told me that i was missing 100 dollars. I was confused at first, because i counted the money three times at home and i told him no it’s 700 but he counted 2 times and said that it’s 600. After he deposited the money, I went back in line and sent my son to take 100 dollars from my husband. Suddenly, when he saw me in the line again, he said, “oh miss the machine counted 700 dollars”. The weird thing is that he didn’t realize it when he deposited 600 dollars into my account. He then said that he will deposit the 100 dollar, but i said i needed my receipt and I waited until he gave me another 100$ receipt. It all seems very weird, as if he tried to scam me. Does BMO even pay them for them to resort to these tactics? If i hadn't realized what was going on, i would have lost 100 dollars. The operator was 023. I’m thinking about going to the police station and report him, because he was clearly a fraud. If you ever go there, be careful and don’t trust. Always count your money before handing it over. Again, do not trust the people working at that branch.

Worst customer service. Had to wait in line for over 40 mins with one counter open and 4 employees just walking around having fun

So it turns out customers here make life hard of the employees. I was treated the best way possible when it was my turn.
