Purchased and leased cars here from their opening in the summer of 2010 until 2018. Couldn’t take the incredibly slow service in service department after all those years and went to buy a Mercedes in 2021. It’s worth it to pay for your own service and the garage of your choice than to take BMW service which takes hours or even days to complete for minor things like oil change or tires.

Éviter ce concessionnaire.je suis allé chercher mon auto.le vendeur en rigolant me dit que la voiture que j’avais réservé était sortie la femme du gérant à l’époque 2017 l’avait empreintée.il m’a proposé une autre que j’ai accepté sans me douter de rien…j’ai signalé par la suite des problèmes de direction.des lumières bizarres sur le tableau de bord …je croyais à leur réponses …elle a actuellement 105000km et des problèmes de moteurs… j’ai fait changer une pièce à 1400$. Car huile du moteur coulait et la semaine dernière elle s’est arrêté pas de puissance le moteur chauffe sur lautoroute.après 200$ de diagnostic et on me demande 1300$ pour changer la upper hose du radiateur.j’ai une Honda plus vielle qui n’a pas ces problèmes …alors BMW.non c fini.en plus BMW canada me demande de m’adresser au concessionnaire.une vrais arnaque et je crois que c depuis le début de cette aventure regrettable.en busines il faut être honnête…

I have had one of the worst experience in my life with this dealership. I still can't believe that how they could do that & damaged me $10k due to delay on delivery of car & didn't give me proper information about this situation.however I was there every single month. I never recommend them at all. I'll definitely transfer this experience to BMW Canada in order to inform them about this terrible experience.

I wish I read the reviews before!
4 weeks ago brought my car in to change tires.
I was called twice to come and get the car-
first time: the electric dashboard not functional
2nd time: cannot start the car- my son was informed that something broke and need to pay 2000$.
Since many voice messages I left on the recording machine- of service no return of calls
At least 4 messages to director of service no return of calls
At least 2 messages for director of branch-
The least i expect is a return of my calls to see what is happening.

I wrote a review of the service department 7 years ago. I had to go in for another key and for a recall change of my airbags in my old BMW. My experience this time was totally different. Service was just fine. No wasted.time. Good communication, easy to speak to a human/no answering machines, good use of texting. A much better experience than 7 years ago. Keep up the good work

I recently had my car serviced here and had an overall disappointing customer service experience.

The parts I needed for my repair were on lengthy backorder so I opted for a rental car after being advised that the rental fee would be fully covered. However, when time came to return the rental and pick up my car the dealer surprisingly charged me with a $300 rental fee as a result of a miscommunication/mistake on their end. I complained and argued my case, explaining how I would have made alternate arrangements had I known of a rental fee in the first place. Unfortunately my protest was to no avail as in the end the best they could do for me was to reduce the fee by a meagre $20.

The repair job itself was done well and the service technician was professional and nice - no complaints on that end. But ultimately I was left with a sour taste in my mouth after being stuck with a bill stemming from their mistake. One would expect management to make things right, acknowledge the mistake, and cover the relatively small fee to leave the customer with a positive impression, wanting to return for future business. Sadly this wasn’t the case.

I will be avoiding these guys in the future and will be telling others to do the same. I recommend going to any of the other BMW dealers in the area with higher ratings. It’s not for nothing that this dealership has the lowest ratings of the bunch.

They lack client service. They took my car for a Recall and nobody offered to give me a car while it was being fixed. I had to rent a car for over a week costing me $635.78 and they didn't even offer to pay for it although they told me the repairs would only take 5 hours. Terrible to deal with them. These guys are making a terrible name for BMW. You're better off getting an Audi or Mercedes!

Terrible service received from the service department. Came in with a recall that caused the engine components to melt in the car. Smoke was coming out of the engine bay and it was DANGEROUS to drive. They refused to change the parts that burnt due to their own manufacturing error. They told me it would take 7 hours to make the proper repairs. 8 days later I still didn't receive my car, with not a single compensation offered. I spoke to Louis (Service Manager) and he was terrible at providing proper service and care for his customer. He's ruining the brand image for BMW. You spend over 45,000$ for a car and they can't even offer you a car to replace yours while its getting fixed. They lack client service experience.

Never come back to this dealership again!
I had an appointment to see the used X1 that I saw in their website and talked with the salesman. But when me and my wife came there we was told that car is sold but another nice car is coming! I had talked several times with that salesman and never told me the car is sold.

I found them tricky with no respect to clients.

Finally I found my desired car in BMW Sherbrooke with superb nice and respectful guys. I applied for financing there. Now another strange thing, the sales manager of West Island dealership knew all my financial process in Sherbrooke and sent me bunch of texts and emails and encouraged me to buy their car! But, I recognized myself won't be happy with them.

I bought my car from Sherbrooke and they delivered to my home in Montreal with excellent condition. I extremely recommend to all my friends find their BMW's in Sherbrooke dealership.

Terrible service department. I called 3 times last week to try to make a service appointment. When they transferred me to service department, I could only reach voice mail, and they have never returned my voice mail.

BTW, I am also filing complaint to BMW Canada.

I don't often take the time to post a review but when I do its mainly for the lack of service and competence offered by companies.it is sad how this dealership is jeopardizing the reputation of BMW service. With the shortage of cars, they are more interested in buying your car then fixing the issue that's under warranty.

Emailed them 2x and left messages still no follow up. Funny how quickly they respond saying please contact us so they look like a responsible dealership. Don’t be fooled as they even manipulate their customer satisfaction survey.

Mon conseiller était monsieur Marc Zaki il était gentil professionnel mais moi je vois que trois heures de temps rester sur place c’est tellement trop

Je viens pour un entretien huile moteur et liquide de freins, et je repars avec un vehicule totalement lavé, propre en plus des entretiens effectués! Top!

Warning: If your brakes feel defective: It's because they are, especially on the newer models. Absolutely zero acknowledgment or assistance from any BMW rep, including sales, mechanics and head office. BMW is apparently now aware that some of their models are built using small, inferior, defective brakes. Additional problem you may expect with newer models are crooked wheels beyond repair and bald tires very shortly after acquiring the car. Sad and unjust!

I would like to thank Alex Hart and Nessim Malka for all their help and amazing service purchasing a CPO BMW. I was not able to come to the dealership in person and my sale rep Alex and the manager Nessim where able to help me with the majority of transaction online. They were able to appraise my trade and give me pricing all by email quickly and transparently. My new car didn't look amazing inside at delivery, Alex and Ness were quick to respond to my issue and had the car re-detailed for me a few days later. Thank you guys, I love my new car!

Switched dealership to BMW west island and I couldn't be happier. I brought my truck in for service and everything was fixed under my extended warranty quickly and without hassle. The previous dealership I dealt with would always give me the run around, tell me things are not covered. The agent I dealt with at BMW west island Mark was incredible. He kept me updated throughout the process and made sure everything was covered. Bringing my truck in used to be a nightmare, but now dealing with Mark, I know it'll always be a good headache free service.

When I was traveling with my family from Montreal to Ottawa, I noticed one of my X1 front tires bulged a bubble. We found this BMW dealership nearby and stopped at its service department. From greeting by Bill at the reception, to service manager Mark Zak and part manager Phillippe Beauregard, everyone was very nice and tried to offer their best help to get us back on the road. Phillippe patiently learned my needs and gave me the options to choose from. Especially when the tires were not in the shop, he made rush order for me to ensure the fastest replacement could happen. Very much appreciate the service and help I experienced at the Service Department at this dealership and high regards to those professionals!

I had an issue with my car and my file was handled by a service advisor by the name of Saagar Patel. The service I got was beyond exceptional. Not a single day where I did not receive an update regarding my car. Anyone looking to get anything fixed or need any advice on their vehicle, I highly recommend dealing with Saagar. My experience buying a car at BMW West-Island was amazing from the very first visit, through the process of buying and even after sale (Thanks to Sam Alby for his guidance and wonderful support trough the delivery and for kindly following up afterwards if I enjoyed the car and if there was anything i was not satisfied with.) By far the best costumer service I ever received in buying a car, I would definitely recommend this particular dealership to anyone who’s looking for the best prices and top quality service from all the employees. Definitely would buy with them again in the future! Also a big thank you to my sale’s rep Alex who was very knowledgeable about each car/model I liked, went back and forth to let me try all of them and helpful in deciding which would be the best match for my needs. Very amazing customer service with Mr. Saagar Patel, my mother noticed an issue with some leaking in the back of the car and in just 1 day (CRAZY I KNOW) Mr. Patel and his team managed to fit us in the schedule and fix everything. Communication was a breeze, he even went out of the way to answer our questions while being in service and keeping us up to date. We were pleasantly surprised to receive the car washed and in perfect condition. Thank you very much again, looking forward to our next visit!

Although I purchased my BMW elsewhere, I've been bringing my 335i to BMW West Island for maintenance and warranty work since ownership. It's easy to book appointments online, and both the maintenance and warranty service has exceeded my expectations. Everything from helping me out with lost a lost wheel nut key to extensive repairs have been top notch. My service advisor, Saagar, goes above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction, even going as far to accommodate a special pick up when I couldn't make it back before closing time. A+ all around

BMW West Island is what I consider a great place to shop for "obviously" BMW vehicles. There are a few parts to my review. The new cars sales department and the service department.

Although I have only bought one car from this dealership, the experience was great! Luc, my BMW specialist, is exactly that, a specialist. He knows his cars very well, the details behind each model and knows his inventory by heart. However, here is the important kicker, Luc is a seasoned BMW specialist and has been for many many years! Most importantly he is one of those non-pushy "sales-guys". He answers calls when you call in. A true gentlemen and very humble.

On the service side of things and the reason for my most recent visit, things went well, with a few hiccups. I was in for an oil and tire change. Once completed, I started driving my car home and the tire pressure indicator lit up. Called the service manager and he had me back right away and dealt with the problem, no questions asked. A few other things I noticed; According to my work order a complimentary car wash was included. This was not the case, however it was a rainy day and I had no issue if they chose to bypass it, however, it should have been a a bit more clear on my paperwork that it was not completed. One last thing; the technicians that changed my tires, left some very gluey material on my mags that was very evident, essentially where the previous tire weights sat on. This could have just been a simple oversight and this morning my service rep was already trying to make an appointment to get the car back to clean things up. In the end, great follow-through from the dealership!

Finally I would like to make a suggestion to management. I believe it is time now, to open up your coffee bar again. Sitting 3 hours at a classy BMW dealership with no options for caffeine is a bitter pill to swallow on most days! I know all about the COVID situation and I believe this dealership is following all protocols. However, I have frequented many other car dealerships in the past few weeks and ALL of them are serving coffee in some form or another. I return next week for a follow up to service and potentially test driving one of their new M vehicles, it would be a pleasant surprise to see the coffee running again!

Just got my new 330i 2020 there today, I compared the prices for the same model with other dealers, Finally I decided to go BMW West-Island cause their prices were so competitive. Thanks to Shawn Li who tried so hard to get me such a good deal. Being driving BMW for so many years, this is the first time I saw a sales person that is so "clean" and straightforward to me, It doesn't like others who try to play with you and make you think they really got you a good deal. If you want to save both your money and time, just go to BMW West Island.

Worst service I’ve ever received. I’ve never felt the need to leave a review for anyone, but this was unacceptable. Called Bmw West Island at noon yesterday to book an appointment to purchase a vehicle. Left work early to be able to arrive on time; drove one hour through traffic, and then sat at the office for 50 minutes while he tried to find the keys to the vehicle. And this after he spent time showing me a Carfax and Inspection report for the wrong vehicle. After sitting for 50 minutes waiting for the keys, I was told that unfortunately the vehicle had been sold that afternoon. Extremely unsatisfied with the service and professionalism at BMW west island.

Horrible experience returning my vehicle. Even though I explained my situation in person several times (and provided documentation as backup), they slapped on bogus charges they wanted to hear nothing about it. Lo and behold, after sending a legal notice all of a sudden they removed the bogus charges.this whole process took 3 to 4 months and was extremely frustrating. The dealer kept sending me to BMW finance and BMW finance kept sending me to the dealer. Beware of terms when you sign with BMW west Island or deal with BMW finance.

I have to say, I usually never trust that a dealership would make amends to an issue I experience but BMW West Island came through and resolved all my recent issues.
Due to some miscommunication and some mistakes made on their end, I was very frustrated regarding my issue. So, I sat down with Richard Tardif @BMW West Island, explained the whole situation calmly and he was able to find a solution that worked for me as well as showed real care for my issue and satisfaction.
I can honestly say I am happy with how my issue was resolved.
My recommendation is to speak to Richard before you take any further actions with the dealership.

I live Calgary had been searching Canada wide for a low mileage BMW M240 ix and saw an ad in Autotrader posted by BMW West Island for a 2018 demo model with only 8000 Kms. Having lived in Montreal for over 20 years, I am aware of the corrosive materials that are applied to the roads there in the winter and even though the car was virtually new, I still had reservations. However when I viewed the car, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the undercarriage, brake rotors and suspension components were spotless with no evidence that the car had been driven in the winter or at least not when the roads were snow covered, slushy or icy.

Ken Hamel was my salesperson and we communicated exclusively by email for the first few days. Ken was extremely patient and professional and answered my questions promptly. It is hard enough trying to find a good pre-owned vehicle locally let alone travelling half way across the country to find just the right one, but ken made my whole vehicle shopping experience stress and hassle free.

When the time came to negotiate my trade value and working out the financing details, Sales Manager Nessim Malka got involved. Nessim is a consummate professional and answered my emails very quickly, even when he was at home for the evening (I wasn't expecting such responsiveness but. WOW.thanks for that Nessim!). Nessim made it extremely easy to do business with BMW West Island and I would not hesitate to let my friends and colleagues in Montreal and every else in Canada know that if they are looking for a good, clean BMW, Ken and Nessim are the people to talk to. Thank you very much gentlemen!

I had great experiences every time I went there. All the staff are very nice and recommend the best option that suites the costumer. My experience was much better compared to other BMW dealers in Montreal when I was shopping for my car. As far as I remember they are the only BMW dealership that will help you with finance if you need to deal with banks. They also fixed an issue with my tires 6 months after I bought the car which was really nice.

David Viau was an excellent reference from friends and not only did he live up to the expectation but manage to find me the car I wanted with the options and terms I requested. David went above and beyond and helped me get out of a previous car lease with another dealership in record time by using his resources and dedicating time of his own to meet clients for the lease transfer. He did not have to do any of that but it just shows the dedication he has for his work and his clients. Make sure you go see David if you are looking for a car at this dealership. He will get you want you want.

Finally, I can post a review without BMW West Island deleting it! They had the nerve to remove my review on Instagram, and block me on Instagram because they only want to show positive reviews, no negative ones! That is not a true and accurate representation of the company though. And quite frankly, a shameful way to conduct business! I have been a customer since 2010. My family and I have purchased and leased multiple vehicles from Wojtek at BMW West Island, so we have a lot of experience with them. They think that it’s ok to just sell me a lemon, ignore everything and sweep it under the rug. Not a very truthful and upstanding company.

They sold me a BRAND NEW defective vehicle that has had multiple recurring problems right from the beginning - a lemon! They had no problem taking $52,000 CASH from me, and then after the sale they don’t care what happens. #BMWCanada is not any better, I reached out to them many times and all they did is try to sell me another vehicle with a lousy 5% discount. They never fix the problems, they only try and continually push me to try and purchase another new vehicle. Nobody at BMW West Island or BMW Canada ever corrected the problem.

Oh yeah, and even before that, they sold me a different brand new vehicle that I MUCH LATER found out was sitting with a large shipment of other BMW’s parked at the port of Montreal for 3 WEEKS, sitting and soaking halfway or almost to the roof trapped in SALT, snow and water. BMW Canada was FORCED to replace those vehicles by TRANSPORT CANADA! BMW, BMW Canada, and BMW West Island all knew about how those vehicles were trapped in massive amounts of salt, water and snow for weeks, corroding the undercarriages and engines etc.and they knowingly sold these vehicles to unsuspecting customers! How would you like to purchase a brand new vehicle for $55,000 (some vehicles were $100,000 by the way) and more, not knowing how it sat corroding in salt water and snow, almost to high enough to reach the roof for 3 weeks? !? ! Wow! BMW West Island and BMW knew about it and didn’t care. They just wanted to grab peoples money! Very dishonest company! And if it wasn’t for Transport Canada, nobody would have known about it, and BMW wouldn’t have replaced those vehicles. They only replaced them because they were forced to by Transport Canada!

They don’t honor the warranty, they have very poor service with incompetent mechanics. You’ll wait hours and hours, and days for your vehicle and it will never be fixed. There is not one mechanic there that is competent enough to fix a recurring problem. Because now #BMWCanada uses cheap parts from China that they don’t even know how to fix. They don’t honor the warranty, they don’t replace parts that are under warranty. They just waste your time and never replace what needs to be replaced. They don’t care how many times you bring in your car, but they still can’t fix anything.

When I bring up my recurring and defective problems up to them on social media, they say that I refused service! I have brought my vehicle into service multiple times for years, only to walk away disappointed, and problems not fixed!

The service Manager, Richard told me that it’s not up to me to decide what needs to be replaced. Even though there is an obvious manufacturer defect with my screen. How rude to ignore that the defective part needs to be replaced! They just ignore and never replace parts that need to be replaced, even after numerous failed attempts at fixing it. It’s a no brainer, but for them, they really don’t care. And BMW Canada didn’t do anything about it either. For this reason, they don’t even deserve a 1 star review.

Excellent service! Le system comfort access de ma voiture ne fonctionnait pas bien et ils n'arrivaient pas à trouver le problème. Ils ont donc pris ma voiture pour une semaine et m'en ont preté une (exactement le même modèle/couleur que la mienne!) pour s'assurer de prendre bien le temps de trouver le problème. Ils ont finalement remplacé mes deux clés et tout fonctionne maintenant à merveille! Richard Tardif, le directeur de la satisfaction à la clientelle a été vraiment dedié à s'assurer que je sois pleinement satisfait. Merci!

I pass today to buy accesories for my first M car i have to tell that the servise is bery bad l. I have i very good experience whit others brand (porsche) (audi) but today i feel like the guy in the autoparts was makeing the favor to sell me the parts.

I spent the last 6 months looking for a car. The first place I went was BMW Westisland where I met Dominic. He was very pleasant, patient and easy to deal with. He was available to answer all my questions and the delivery was well explained and went smoothly. I’ve got my dream car and couldn’t be more happier. Went in for some repairs on my 328. Was taken care of immediately and effictively by the service department. Mr. Patel let me know everything I needed to know and had the mechanics work In a timely fashion. There was an issue with a part that was not in stock, however in waiting it was picked up at the nearest BMW dealer to ensure everything was done for my appointment without need of coming back.

Thank you BMW West Island!

Recommend to everyone.

I was globally disappointed by the service at this garage, you would expect better for BMW.
First when calling them, I was very often transfer to line without voice mail. And nobody ever calls you back when supposed to.
Secondly I received a bill of 3000 and then 6000 when I gave the car back at the end of the lease because of some confusion about the winter tires (each one was billed at 1200.)
It was finally corrected but again very painful process between BMW financial services and the garage.
Too bad because the car was nice.

First and foremost I just want to say my experience was almost flawless at the store. I dealt primarily with Nessim (the pre-owned sales manager) the whole deal was structured over the phone as I am from Ontario and just wanted to make one trip to pick up the vehicle. They were very fair on my trade in value and I felt very comfortable making this purchase as roughly 2 weeks prior I did a deal on a different 328xi M-Sport and the other store tried playing games a few days before I took delivery.

Overall I was very satisfied with the service, my only criticism would be to the Delivery Specialist I dealt with; as someone who works in the field and sells/delivers a few vehicles I just have some slight criticism. The delivery specialist lost my respect early on in the delivery process, I had made it very clear over the phone that I did not want a front plate mounted and I was assured by Andreas (the finance manager) that he would put a note of it prior to delivery, now when I had asked the delivery specialist about it she said and I quote: "This vehicle was a lease return from Ontario so it already has a front plate mounted. " I knew right away she was preparing for a potential mishap because the Pre-Owned Manager had sent me the CarFax prior to the purchase and it clearly stated it was only ever registered in Quebec. The car was also given to me with half a tank of gas which, granted, was filled up as soon as I had mentioned it and again, working in the field I can understand that not every delivery goes smooth so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. The last thing I found odd about the delivery was that, I was handed a small screw driver and told to take the plates off of my trade-in. Mind you, this is my first BMW so perhaps that's just their process but at my dealership I ALWAYS remove/transfer plates for the customers.

What really sold me on the dealership though is the fact that once I had brought the car back to Toronto, I had the techs at my store take a look at the vehicle on the hoist and they noticed a bulge in one of the tires. I brought it to Nessim's attention immediately and he began working on a solution, that spoke huge to me, and that's why I'm sticking with a 5 star review.

I really enjoyed the experience and I will definitely consult BMW West Island for my next BMW. Just wanted to thank Nessim, Ken and Andreas for the flawless experience!

Going thru the process of buying a car could be intimidating at some point.but the whole team makes you feel comfortable and part of the family. We loved the service we got.which it is awesome! Big thanks to Nick, Andreas, Dawn and the whole team on our 1st BMW!
