It's one of my nicest outdoor hangouts for all seasons. Either walking or biking, etc.it's a place where you feel in complete nature far from all the city's noises but actually you are still in the middle of town.
I loved that every couple of meters, there are signs to show you where you are on the map. You're allowed your dogs LEASHED. There are benches so you can rest or take some time to appreciate the area. There are ponds and little lookouts. If you go all the way to the end of the trail, you can see the river. There are also bathrooms and a little picnic area so you can stop and have lunch if you're planning on spending some time at the park.
It's a very nice spot of nature, but the vibes are too bad, paid parking, loud noise from the surrounding highways, no animals were seen, 1 trail is flooded you will need some bouldering skills to go thru, the other trail is closed for constructions, the current condition of this place makes it not worth the visit.
This is a wonderful park for easy hiking, picnics, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and cycling. I ride my bike on the trails in summer and take long walks in winter. Hard to believe it's right in the middle of an industrialized area!
Great nature park for all seasons. Winter offers hiking and cross country skiing and the trails are long, clean and very picturesque. There are also many options and various trails to take. Great place for a hike in nature if you want to get some exercise while enjoying the outdoors.
J'adore cet endroit.
Very beautiful park, you will feel as you are in the middle of forest. A lot of trees Not suitable for patries or social events, its more to walk and observe the beauty of nature.
It is beautiful with lots of seating and picnic area for great gathering and a BBQ U can also find little animals roaming around the park Parking is available at alittle cost Worth it
On l’adore! On adore.
Nestled and surrounded by cities i.e. Dorval, Saint-Laurent, Pierrefonds, Roxboro, and Dollard des Ormeaux. Around 10 minutes to the airport. Plenty of activities to do during winter and summer. (Hiking, biking, picnic, cross country skiing, tobogganing) Plenty of Parking.
TIP: Free parking on the street, in front of L'Oreal about a minute or two walking.
This park is a gem in the West side on Montreal. Located at the edge of an industrial area, it guards a beautiful and peaceful forest great for running or just or hiking. On its West side has a beautiful forest where you are sour rounded by big trees and maples while you are walking in a gravel path. On the East side is more open and if you are a train lover, you can see the local train pass very close to you several times a day. If you are a runner, you can easily do 8kms on their paths and maybe 10kms connecting all together. By the way, in winter it’s algo a good place to do cross-country ski, and also snowshoeing, specially with kids.
Beware! Bike route closed.at rail tracks just after passing under the 13.until October. No other way to access the other sectors of the park. Only a busy, Boulevard Gouin with no bike lane.
Awesome park, a lot of places to visit and a lot of activities possible.like, bicycle, jogging, walking, dog friendly, picnic or just simply relaxing.also in winter, mount sliding, ski and so on.
