Bombay Mahal

This was my first time here but not my last. The food and service was great. I had the lamb biryani and my wife the Thali. I loved it and I also love the prices. Very reasonable We'll be coming back

Got lamb biryani was really spicy (i mentioned to be low spice). Paneer pakoda was not that great. Fish pakora was good

We love taking out from here. We have been eating at Bombay Mahal for over 20 years! Love the chana samosa and butter chicken.

I just love this place! The prices are so low and the portion sizes are generous. Highly recommend the lamb curry. I like to order just that with a side of rice and it makes two satisfying meals for me! The last time I went the naan was to die for, so feathery and lightly charred. Eating in doesn't really elevate the experience since it's casual, but I love ordering takeout from here.

Ordered food from there on Uber, and I received MOLDY food. Yes, fungus on the food. Uber reimburse me directly. I called the restaurant to let them know and they answered me: Oh my bad.

Loved it, the woman at the counter is sooo friendly and the food was divine.

I had the non-veg thali this time, the butter chicken was fresh and savory. The Lentils were made to perfection and the fresh Naan is simply amazing.

I recommend this place Bombay Mahal in NDG, their prices and portions are reasonable. The staff is friendly and accommodating! I dine in and also do take out, but I prefer dining in, the food is fresh and delicious! I give it 5

Very, very overpriced and portions are super small! Everything tasted the same. Restaurant looks unclean. Won’t be ordering from here again

Amazing place to grab Indian food, had Chicken thali recently and it was amazing. The staff’s quiet welcoming too specially the lady at the counter.

Worst dinner of my life. Ruined my Diwali celebration.they made sabji (curry) out of ready made precooked curry and sent us frozen sweets.complete waste of money.

Small portions, Naan is now tiny, thin and tasteless. Really gone down in quality overall. Butter chicken and korma are supposed to be mild and but they send them spicy all the time even when you request them to be mild. The speed of delivery suggests everything is cooked in a huge pot and you get spicy whether you want it or not

Lamb vindaloo was very red and did not taste like vindaloo at all, the dish also had 2 big pieces of ginger the size of potatoes which really shows the lack of care going into the food

Delicious food and friendly service. This is a fast food style restaurant. Could be cleaner. Tables often left unbiased.

Delicious food with great quality. Love it. The girl and the boy at the front (cashier) are very humble and polite. Always regards with a smile. I love going to this restaurant. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family.

To be honest the food was kind of delicious but the place was so dirty that I couldn’t finish it at the restaurant. On top of that employees were shouting at each other and discussing something which created an uncomfortable atmosphere.

I'm glad to read that I ain't the only one to find it "hot spicy". The butter chicken was good consistency but way too much chili. Not impressed with the Naan.

This is almost $20 worth of food (Takeout) ? Are you joking. NEVER again. Worst portions I have ever received from an Indian restaurant. Will almost recommend people find somewhere else.edit: My Vindaloo has no vegetables or seasoning. It tastes like meat soaked in pure hot sauce. If I ordered in person I would refuse to eat or pay for it. I threw it in the garbage. The worst Vindaloo I have ever eaten, and possibly one of the worst meals of my life.

Does not taste like Jean-Talon but still okay. The veggie plates were good and the korma lamb was way more aniseed but the butter chicken tasted a bit soapy.

Hii I want to complain against a girl in bombay mahal restaurant. I got a order from there when I went she was extremely rude I asked why are you behaving like that she said it’s my nature to talk like that there was a customer also and he asked something she behaved exactly same with him also. This is extremely disappointed to face such kind of person who even doesn’t have curtesy to talk with somebody. I really hope and wish to take action against that kind of restaurant staff.

Very bad service. We ordered one hour earlier and we received half order and when we called them, they refused to give full food. Even the received food was not tasty.

Tantalizingly tasty! Lots of curry, vegetarian or non, glass counter tops and food display, a variety of vegetables, meat, nan bread and more, this food is home made with craft and loving care as is clear upon tasting first mouthful!
For approx ten dollars a container with six seperate spaces are each filled with whatever you choose from the display +n.bread! Personally I haven't yet been able to finish a box meant for one person, not in the same sitting anyway!:)

Restaurant forgot to pack some of items and when we called the restaurant the owner was very rude and didn’t even accept the mistake and refused to deliver the rest of food.also the food we received tasted really bad.we asked for spicy but received the food that was too sweet

I just ate there and is delicious. At first glance I thought it was some fast food joint and I kept walking. But nothing convinced me over Sherbrooke west so I went back to the Bombay and wow! The chicken tandoori with spinach and other spicy green sauce was awesome. The naans were hot and buttery. The salad was fresh and help a bit with this spicy and delicious plate.

Definitely, I will return to try something else.

Great food, great service! It's definitely the best Indian restaurant I've tried in Montreal.

Ps. Word of warning.the vindaloo is one of the spiciest things I've ever eaten!

Go-to Indian place in Montreal. I’ve tried so many places and none of them live up to Bombay Mahal. Been ordering here for years and they never disappoint. Good portions, good prices and amazing flavour. If you’re looking for an amazing Indian spot look no further

The 1st time I ordered the food was good. The second time a disaster. The mulicatani soup was so hot my mouth was numb after two spoonfuls. I had to throw the rest out. The chicken tikka was this gross mess. The chicken pieces were edible but the rest I also threw out. Dont think I will order here again.
