Boston Pizza

My hubby and I stopped in for lunch. It wasn’t busy and still had to wait over 15 minutes to be seated. Took another 15 minutes for the waitress to come see us. We ordered a spinach dip to start which didn’t come to the table until 20 minutes after and was extremely salty. The waitress never asked us if we wanted anything to drink. We then ordered the Big Dipper (big mistake) and a club sandwich “style sandwich “ (another big mistake). (Also took forever to get to the table) The steak sandwich was dry, and chewy with no cheese. I asked the waitress if the “au jus” was onion soup and she had no clue what it was and didn’t even bother to ask the kitchen. (Au jus should not be onion soup) and the club sandwich was dry and tasted like a Tim hortons sandwich. Our Caesar salad was drenched in dressing. Everything was disgusting. I think my favourite thing was the Pepsi. Took forever to get our food and it wasn’t even good. Waste of money and time. This place used to be good but I won’t be returning ever again! Sorry not sorry!

La bouffe est bonne en salle a manger. Je ne recommande pas la livraison car la bouffe était très froid et il y a souvent des erreurs dans les livraisons.

Apres avoir attendu 1h apres Door Dash qui est jamais venu livrer.
Je vais le chercher directement au resraurant.
44$ pour des boîtes a peine remplis. DERNIERE FOIS!

We had a pretty disappointing experience.
Showed up for lunch with our kids.

- Had to wait a long time for food.
- Kids burgers were very poorly made frozen patties.
- They were out of relish, chocolate milk, among other drinks.
- The meatloaf was horrible, and was clearly a frozen meal chucked in the microwave.

On the positives:
The waitress did the best she could to accommodate despite all the disappointments.

Host couldn’t muster up being a a host basically seated ourselves sat at the bar for 10 min to not be served or asked what we wanted to drink place was dead plenty of staff around just no push in this palace of procrastination

Some of the worst pizza I’ve ever had.stale bread. Smelt like cat food. Chicken is definitely not chicken might be ostrich but I’ve never had chicken that bad. If I could give this 0 stars I would.

Place is a joke. Order online and they cancel an hour later. Tried calling 8 times and no answer. Will never order or go there again

Waitress was extremely rude. We arrived an hour and 15 minutes before close and the waitress made it very evident that we were inconveniencing her with our presence. She told us multiple times that they close in an hour and that we had to hurry up. Its not like we showed up 5 minutes before close even then its no excuse to tell a guest to hurry up. I didn't get her name but she was blonde with short hair maybe late twenties. Def should reconsider if the restaurant business is for her.

Went to share a meal with my wife daughter and grandkids, never again wife's veggie burger was overdone and hard, nachos were good and my boneless chicken wings 8 were good but the stingyness? MacDonald 's as more fries in their small bag then BP in their plates and the 2 inch one of each 1/4 pieces carrot/ celery combo they can keep for 15.99$ all together it cost me 118.36 including tip not worth it stay away.

We placed an order early in the morning, scheduled it for the evening for our son's birthday and they only cancelled last minute! They could have lets us know ahead of time they were going to cancel order after we had paid!

Malheureusement, une erreur à été réalisée dans ma commande, on m’a chargé 20$ en surplus. J’ai demandé un remboursement de 20$ mais ils m’ont mentionné qu’il ne pouvait pas me rembourser ou même me donner une carte cadeaux du restaurant! Ils ont plutôt écrit mon nom avec mon crédit de 20$ dans un livre « bien conservé » en me promettant que j’aurais droit à mon crédit la prochaine fois que je visite le restaurant. Je suis retourné au restaurant et évidemment mon nom et mon credit n’était plus conservé.

Un manque flagrant de professionnalisme.

J'adore les plats. C'est super bon et tu en as pour ton argent. Aussi surpenant que ça puisse paraître, ce n'est même pas si chère que ça. Je recommande.

The staff is amazing, but the food is not worth the money! The staff was nice enough to take my friends food off the bills since they only ate two bites.

Edit: idk if its because of uber but latetly i have not been getting any of my dipping sauces for my orders even though i paid for them. Its becoming very frustrating and i love this place

They are open at 50% capacity.and not quite prepared to see customers, asked for a bloody Ceaser as a cocktail but they didnt have any Worcestershire sauce.hope they dont any any missing ingredients for their food menu! Lol
Had a Ceaser/Chicken salad, which was simple and good.

Ordered online through the website and picked up our food shortly thereafter. Great service and food was delicious.

Worst service from this location every single time I order for delivery. From getting uncooked chicken sandwiches, missing items, 2 hour delivery wait, getting accused of having my missing items when I don’t. Could give this location 0 stars if I could. Something goes wrong every time I place an order here. Definitely going to be re thinking my dinner options from now on.

Called ahead of time to make sure the patio was open and available. When we arrived just a few minutes later, we were told they don't have a waiter for outside.

Came here for app and drinks and it was really nice! We sat on the patio and enjoyed the sun! The appetizer we could seemed like fancy McDonald’s (McDonalds is also right behind us) but it was still tasty!

Profilage avant de rentrer dans le restaurent ils choisissent ceux qu’ils veulent à la porte donc essayer pas de réserver ils préfèrent choisir quand ils vous voient bravo pour votre reprise après covid je vous souhaite longue existance prospère!

Absolutely terrible service! Everyone looks like they hate their jobs! All the waiters were hiding by the bar and some even looked like they were drinking and enjoying their night! We only saw our waiter three times, he asked us our order, gave us only the appetizer and the bill after asking for 20 minutes! We had to ask a different waiter for our mains and to refill drinks! On top of it all we weren’t even able to enjoy our mains because after waiting so long we just lost our appetites! I would not recommend coming here! Awful experience!

The food is amazing service is even better. We had a lovely waitress named Juliette who was phenomenal! She has only been working as a waitress for 2 weeks and impressed us very much. We had a table of four with two children. We will be returning:)

First restaurant experience since the pandemic started and I'm so glad I went here! The staff was super friendly and even though certain items weren't available yet they did their very best to accommodate us! Awesome food and very clean!

This is hard, the food is good if you can ever get it. I've had multiple issues ordering, you can never ever reach the restaurant.voice-mail ways full. They'll call you and ask you to call back, you can't. Place orders, tells you an incorrect wait time and you show up to be told they either don't have your order or it won't be ready for ages.

Really bad experience; hostess refused to sit a table of 6 on the patio due to lack of staff… on a Monday evening at 8pm. This is the first time I’ve ever been told this - absolutely incredible. You’ve gotta work hard to be this incompetent. I’d leave 0 stars if I could.

J'avais mis un avis très positif ça fait deux ans pour le service en salle, et aujourd'hui je viens mettre un GRAND ZÉRO.
Je commande une pizza poulet BBQ au comptoir, que j'ai l'habitude de manger et SANS BACON, voir la copie du reçu d'une ancienne commande sur la photo.
Une fois à la maison j'ouvre la boite et je vois qu'il y avait du bacon dessus, je reviens au restaurant et j'explique à la serveuse.
Elle me répond que la recette comprenait toujours du bacon, j'insiste en expliquant que j'ai toujours commandé cette pizza, et que je ne pouvais pas la manger si elle contenait du bacon, car je suis allergique au porc!
Elle est partie en arrière, et elle revient m'expliquer que si je voulais avoir une autre pizza, je dois payer le plein prix, aucun gérant n'est venu me voir, c'est vraiment décevant!
Juste une remarque pour le gérant, vous pouvez voir le reçu sur la photo, et comme bonus une capture de votre ancien menu, et la Poulet Barbecue ne contient pas de bacon! Donc le menu a été bel et bien changé!

Put me on hold, never came back to take my order after a few times of calling. I hope this franchise gets new employees as a New Years resolution.

Horrible. Special instructions weren't respected and so the meal couldn't be eaten. Burger was stale and dry, and the fries were cold. So disappointing and wasted 60$. This is the first and last time we order here.

J'aime bien Boston pizza car il y a d'autres possibilités pour avoir accès à cette bonne nourriture. Il y a la commande en ligne, et ils peuvent vous apportez votre commande à la maison, la commande en ligne et vous pouvez aller la chercher directement au restaurant et la possibilité de faire votre commande directement au restaurant et attendre sur place. La possibilité aussi de paiement avec la carte cadeau de Boston pizza. Je suis une habituée et je vous le suggère ces produits, c'est vraiment bon, mais ce n'est pas donné donc je le suggère pour des temps spéciaux où une bonne gâterie de temps à autre. Bonne appétit.

Easily some of the worst service you'll ever get. This is my second time ordering delivery from this location. The first time I got the flu. Sandwich which came but with no toppings. Luckily I ordered through Uber eats I got a refund instantly. This time I ordered the same thing but directly through the restaurant. I got the right sandwich but day old looking fries They also charge $2 for dipping sauce but forget it and refuse to refund or send the item. All I get offered is a $2 credit. I ask for the manager he says she's not back until the 26th. Great Christmas Eve dinner this was not. Don't bother with them. They are unapologetic and useless.

This useless generic response is exactly what you would expect after service like that. Except I already contacted the store and head office and no help lol again, useless!

We arrived at 9: 45pm and got turned away because the kitchen was closed even though the restaurant closes at 12am. It was a Saturday night.we went to la cage instead and enjoyed our meal. After seeing the negative reviews we saved ourselves I think.

No one answers their phone, and their website is constantly glitching. Their food is decent, if you can actually get some.

Personne repond leur telephone, et leur site web est l'enfer. Leur bouffe est correct, si tu reussises en avoir.

Slightly overpriced for the menu, but meals are always served fast, hot and are always good! Their chorizo and bacon pastas are amazing!

Service was horrible.never seen dat. We didn't get our picket. My hamburger came with bacon even I ordered it without. The meat wasn't grilled (middle was raw). The pasta overcooked nd the sauce rose on it terrible. Never ever goin back dats 4 sure

The never pick up the phone very disrespectful to customer we call all the time but the site is not working phone no one to pick up you go there the say the can’t take order I never seen a horrible customer service like them vous êtes horrible tout simplement, à quoi ça sert d’avoir un restaurant avec un service médiocre

Ordered food for delivery from boston pizza gatineau (plateau). They said it would be here in 2 hours. After 3 hours, I called to find out what was going on. They said it was ready but they wouldn't deliver it because they were too busy and didnt have the man power. So after 3 hrs of waiting, they refused to deliver our food.

Ordered at 5: 10pm and was told it would be about 2 hours. At 6pm they called me to say they had just started making our order and then it would be sent out right away. At 7: 45pm we called to see where our food was and after 15min on the phone they told us it's ready and sitting boxed up but they are too busy so no one is going to deliver it. Great, so 3hrs waiting for food that they made but don't want to deliver.

It is the wost boston pizza i went. It took 45 min for or food. The food was cold and very salty. And 15 more just to get to paid. The tour is they your on 8 people in the hole restaurant.

Really disappointed with this location. My colleagues and I ordered delivery. First, it took 1.5 hours to deliver. Second, there were supposed to be 4 separate bills, which i requested when the order was placed, but it came as 1 single bill. The delivery driver was rude when i raised my concerns, basically said it wasnt his problem. One of the drinks that we paid for was missing. The alfredo pasta container was completely squished and there was alfredo sauce all over the other containers.no forks or napkins in the bag either. I contacted the location twice and left messages for the manager, have not heard back yet and its been more than a week. I also left an online message through the website and a message at head office but have received no follow up. Overall not impressed and I can tell you that nobody in my department will be eating at Boston in the future.

Update: After the response that was provided by Boston Pizza below, I was advised to email guestservices because they were worried I did not receive their email. I emailed guestservices and was told, once again, that the location would contact me. It has been 4 additional days that I have waited and received nothing. Yesterday I let guestservices know, AGAIN, that I haven't heard anything and still no response. Very disappointed in Boston Pizza, they clearly have no regard for their customers.

A la commande ne prenez jamais le smoked meat, cela arrive tout mouillé (pain tout mou), cela devrait être conditionné autrement, papier alu par exemple, pas dans du plastique!

La pizza était très moyenne. Fromage n'était pas suffisamment cuit, les piments étaient tièdes, le jambon aussi, la croûte était bonne cependant. Par contre pour le prix, ça vaut vraiment pas la peine. La pizza congelée de Mikes vendues au Costco est meilleur, ça en dit long.

I was really disappointed again.
We were here on Canada day for dinner and our waitress was also the bartender.
She kept disappearing and it took very long for us to get her to take our order.

The pizza crust was so dry and hard, nothing like what we usually get at Boston pizza.

Very disappointing.

The food was great, huge portion.
They were very nice and accommodating to my taste: I don't like cherry tomatoes so the chef replaced them with red peppers.
The staff was amazing, very nice.
Very clean washrooms.

Really disappointed. Wasn't approached by a waiter within 20 minutes of being there. Proceeded to wait for 50 minutes for the food to come, only to be told by the waiter that they were short staffed. I understand they could not control people calling in. But I should not have to approach the waiter to know the status of my order. Communication would be more appreciative. We ended up leaving before our food came. The manager was very understanding of the situation and apologized. We will not be returning.

Order said it would be delivered by 7 pm. Still had to wait for more than an hour after there stated time of delivery. Bad service overall.

Only place to sit down and eat that's open late, ended up coming here not by choice just there was no other options. The service was slow but there was only one waitress serving an almost full restaurant so she did a good job considering.

Aujourd'hui le 16 juin 2019 le service était un peut lent, mais habituellement tout va bien, la raison de mon 3 étoiles pour cette fois, a voir la prochaine fois. La bouffe excellente.

Good food, good service, restaurant with air conditioning that works well. Lots of place for a family and friends gathering and lots of parking.

Pizza trop bonne, j'ai pris potato bianca juste pour goûter, c'était pas mal.par contre les tacos étaient meilleurs.

I had the Royale and it wasn't for me. The fact it was cold didn't help.

J'ai mangé leur burger veggie qui est fait de quinoa. Fantastique! Aussi, moi je suis une personne zéro déchets le plus possible alors j'ai demandé dans quoi venait leur condiments car beaucoup de restos utilisent des petits contenants en plastiques jetables (dont Boston Pizza j'ai appris) alors je lui ai dit que je ne voulais rien de ça si possible.

J'aime bien Boston Pizza mais je vais continuer à supporter les restos ou autres business "vertes" le plus possible.

Im so sick of this location. I call to have a take out order ready, but good look trying to get a hold of them. I spent 27 calls withint the last hour today trying to call to order. This is NOT the first time. Im so sick of this location and how unprofessional they are.

A good spot for food and drinks, my experience wasn’t the best sadly, wether because of the lack of staff in our part of the restaurant or the time we where there considering some kind of wild gathering was happening at the bar?
Nonetheless the artichoke dip was delicious and our group of 5 enjoyed 3 of them!

Worst service ever! We ordered pizza and pasta, and the stuff treated us as we ordered for free (so disrespectful) First time in this location and for sure it will be the last time!

Malheureusement nous n'avons pas eu un bon service. La serveuse nous poussait à choisir après seulement 10 minutes et nous avons reçus nos plats après 1heure. Sans compter que nous êtions dans une section très noir du resto, il ne pouvait pas allumer les lumières.

We ordered the three meat thin crust pizza and it was absolutely awful.it was swimming on grease pizza tasted worst than frozen pizza. If I wanted a frozen pizza I would had buy it at walmart for $5 instead of $25. I also ordered a iced tea which it was absolutely tasteless it was super watery like if they prepared 2 litres of water with one teaspoon of tea. Ordered Caesar Salad. 5 out of 10, was ok but the bacon bites were soaking on fat. We didn’t complained at the moment cause didn’t want to ruin the moment but just feel like I needed to let Boston Pizza know that I am very disappointed and if you care about your customers you should do something to fix it cause your specialty are PIZZAS and they are really bad, I dunno if all of them but at least this one was awful: (

Only thing would make it better is a refund cause I don’t think we’ll be going back after the experience, I threw up all night thanks to the food we ordered. But thank you for your concern.

Peroggi pizza was a little bland apart from cactus chips on it.not enough sour cream. Service was slow. Took an hour and a half for 8 people to get served and pay bills. No fault to waitress just not enough staff for Friday.

Nourriture médiocre et toujours problème quand jy vais avec un groupe pour des fêtes.jamais je ne retournerai avec ma famille.

Discrimination pour les familles avec bébés. Personnel mal élevé et arrogant. Je le déconseille fortement.
