Boustan NDG

Expérience et nourriture terrible. J’ai été très malade pendant toute la journée hier. Vomissements et mal de ventre j’ai presque pensé qu’il faudrait j’aille à l’hôpital. Heureusement c’est passé, j’ai du manquer le travail à cause de ce restaurant.
J’espère que mon message sera pris en considération et que les servies de santé et sécurité passe faire un tour dans se resto.

Went there few weeks back in the middle of the night. The service was pretty fast for me even though some people before me were having trouble. It’s a 24hrs location which is convenient, like all Boustan food was yummy.

The WORST falafel i ever had. It was so bad i almost threw up. I dont know how theyre allowed to serve dog food to people. The first time i ever liked a falafel was boustan on crescent back in the days. I assumed it was going to be something close to that but they gave me dog food instead.

Always good, it is even better if it’s still warm, I’ve got a few cold deliveries by Ubereats but still enjoyable, we eat here almost weekly!

We spent 2 hours waiting for our order to be delivered and we asked the cashier and he did not give us a solution

They made a mistake with our pickup order. But they fixed it.

Mistakes happen. Of course it's nice when everything goes perfectly and without problems. It's when things don't go perfectly that you see how a business really is. When we got home we found the error. We phoned them back. They delivered to us an extra plate done right. That's the gold standard for service and I appreciate that.

I found the service is great, food was delicious, and staff is very kind. Wait time was a bit long. Defiantly will visit said place in the future. They're worth the wait.

I have been going to this Boustan location since it opened and was generally happy until my visit yesterday! Ordered a chicken plate for take out and when I got home was more than disappointed to find that not only was there barely any chicken it was crumbly and cold.the plate was full of potatoes no meat definitely not worth 20$

Decided to put a review here after I realized how awful another Boustan was…I have been going here for years and food/quality/portion has always been great. Staff are all amazing, quick and efficient. Good job!

Chacune de mes commandes sont décevantes. Voire même probablement insalubre. N’essayez pas leur poutines le fromage est gardé « température pièce» mais le problème est que la pièce est extrêmement chaude donc le fromage as une texture extrêmement bizarre avec arrière goût peu réjouissant. Aussi si vous commander un burger viande très bien cuite elle sera malgré tout rosé. Mon expérience reflète chacune de mes 5 visites réparties sur probablement 15 mois…. Difficile de croire qu’ils réussissent les inspections en salubrité de la ville de Montréal! Ceci dit, j’ose croire que leur autres restaurants livrent un service plus adéquat et salubre.

When meat is put into pita not hot, but cold, it has absolutely no taste and smell. It loses its properties!

Reçois très froidement les gens service à la clientèle 0 même si le restaurant étais vide jais trouver le comportement des employez étais très désagréable Aujhourdui 1: 34 si le propriétaire lit sa essaye de recadrer l’es personne qui travaille pour vous le respect c’est très important pour une clientèle solide.

They are open until 5AM in the morning and they make the best shawarma of all boustan in montreal i feel!

It's boustan best spot in Montreal only if you go downtown this one was good when it opened but after hiring of staff that don't care about the place, it has gone down hill

I just love my neighborhood Boustan. The service staff are always cool. The portions are generous. And the food is as good as fast fare gets. @montrealskeptic

Je ne donne même pas une étoile.j’ai passé une commande par téléphone et quand je suis arrivé 20 mn plus tard la commande n’était même pas prête et quand j’ai posé la question l’employé ne m’a même pas répondu, je suis parti avec le ventre vide.

Tbh i used to love this place but now i ordered a mixed plate and it was not like i expected more rice and salad but less meat even tho i told him less rice.he was even too shy to put the meat

Got charged for extra garlic sauce, cashier dude said bye my friend when I left so felt bad leaving a 1 star

Good portions for the price, quick friendly service and tasty food. Always happy with my orders from this location.

Ordered through DoorDash. Food is always fresh and good portions. Only downside is that we cannot make order notes/special instructions on the app.

I loved ordering the vegan options there…. But our order today was covered in small pieces of chicken. Please use clean or different utensils when serving vegan plates. I could not eat my plate at all. The picture was just what was on the top of my plate. It was a huge disappointment: (

Please don't serve food which is not edible. Absolutely burnt potatoes & definitely not fresh.

Shawarma was ok. The staffs were ok. I was going to slip on the floor because they didnt clean the water.

Out of all the Boustan franchises I've been to (THE original on Crescent is the OG), this the best one hands down! Food always fresh and tasty. The guys are professional (and cute), very efficient and handle the food with the utmost hygiene. That's very important for me! I've been to other franchises where people are making your sandwich and using their hands to put filling in (though gloved) and using the same gloves to handle markers to write stuff on bags then continue handling your food! Keep up the good work guys!

So good every time! The salads are always fresh and delicious. The veggie plate is my favourite thing on the menu.

Pire sandwich et patate que j'ai jamais reçu. Sérieux c'était pas mangeable. On a tout jeter! La qualité est pas la même qu'avant. On ne commandera plus. Dommage c'était une bonne option mais franchement la, non!

Boustan is the best. Great food, so delicious. Really big portions, took the rest home. And the garlic sauce, it's fantastic! I've been a fan since the 1990's ordering from the Crescent Street location when I worked at the Montreal General. Thank goodness they are still around!

Quick, great food. What's more is I saw a kid come off the street, no mask and needing change. They gave him a mask, exchanged the change he needed for the bus with a smile. Outstanding community outreach and acceptance. Ease keep shpporting NDG'S FRANCHISE OF Boustan. They are amazing people!

One of the busiest Boustan in Montreal. Still pretty good service though. Don’t like the switch from red onions to regular onions. Other than that, overall decent food.

Everything is tasty and the veggies are super fresh. Great service even late in the evening. Potatoes can be a little to salty.

Their chicken shawarma is really below average. Every time I order it I say this will be the last time! The chicken is tasteless & sometimes even dry. Eat somewhere else for shawarma.

Bad restaurant, every time I place my order he puts the sauce on me while I tell them not to put the sauce

I used to have a rather negative review of this Boustan posted, but in recent months they se em to have mostly rectified their staffing issues, what once was an almost guaranteed occurence of missing huge chunks of the meal or being given the wrong order (almost everytime for some reason), are now a thing of the past, I've even found the overall quality of the food to be a bit nicer.

Very bad customer service. The guy in the cash looked lost. Someone tell the manager to hire good people before people starts hating the business

Order is too rushed and no attention to detail. 1- Req No Plastic Cutlery. 2- Portions are smaller than usual. Received 1 teaspoon of humus on plate. 3- 1/2 size poutine without any sauce on it, just the cheese.
I have ordered there before and it was much better. *****
Let's hope this is temporary.

I have visited this store 2 times. Their behaviour was once worse than the other time! If you wanna spend money and be treated in a way that certainly you are not deserved, come visit this restaurant!

Lors de nos 3 dernières commandes il y a eux des erreurs sur les commandes. Les 2 dernières fois ils ont oublié les patates qui viennent dans le trio, assez amateurs merci.

I love these guys but since uber eats, I get cold food or not delivered. Restaurant is great but I can keep excusing that if they use a sub par delivery service that comes cold or not at all.

J'ai effectué une commande de deux assiettes shawarma au poulet à ce restaurant par ubereats et j'ai eu une intoxication alimentaire.

Worst customer service ever! I ordered through Uber eats and Half of my order was missing, so I called the restaurant and I was treated so badly. They didn't care at all about what I had to say, as soon as I tried to explain my issue they put me on hold for 5 min and later on again in the middle of the conversation (I thought the guy was trying to figure out a solution or at least have the decency to say sorry but no he was dealing with other clients) because to him I wasn't one hah. I spent more than 40$ on my order, and it was a special occasion: My mom's birthday and I wanted to make her happy by ordering her favorite Lebanese food. Their attitude on the phone was extremely rude. They didn't care at all, they didn't even take the time to listen straight to my issue, they tried to blame it on the uber driver, and they really made me feel I was worthless. I would give -5 if i could as ratings!
I understand that missing items are common errors in the restaurant business, but IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO KNOW HOW TO TREAT CLIENTS AND HUMANS IN GENERAL. Because we are the reason why your business is working well. I was really offended to the point I cried!
Before you hire people, make sure they have minimum skills and also manners with clients!

Ordered last night. The food tasted stale and funny, but thought was still edible. Wasn't happy with the low quality so I complained to Uber eats and they gave me a refund. However, I woke up at 3am to vomit and fell sick because of this. It's seriously disgusting how you're selling people decomposed food and expecting nothing to happen. Never ordering from this place again and I advise everyone else not to.

Tonight I went to order food after work. Ordered extra beef on my beef platter. BARELY ANY BEEF. Not only do they constantly mess up but they rip you off. Avoid them. I've given them too many chances.

I've eaten here many times, had many deliveries. Some via Uber Eats but also lately from their own delivery service.
The food is top notch, and the delivery driver shows up with the debit machine ready for me to add my tip and tap.
These are some great people and they make some great food.

Used to come here probably about 2-3 times a week but haven't been there in months since they increased the price and got new take-out containers which contains what looks and feels to be close to half of the portion they used to give. Great staff and very clean location but it's not worth it anymore.

Order for a pick up a sandwich mix extremely cold not eatable tested nothing. Patates was good sandwich portion good, you knew you will serve me a cold sandwich.

Love this place. They make the sandwiches with cabbage rather than lettuce, adding a refreshing crunch in the sandwich. They also grill the sandwiches really well, adding anotger layer of texture. The staff are very quick and have always been very courteous. Enjoy!

I enjoy Boustans since they have good food. But this particular spot has a very rude employee that works there that comments on people's weight. I was there last night to order a simple wrap after a long day. And the Cashier commented on how I should chose the right food with the right calorie count after noticing my fibit watch. It's not ok for people to consistently comment on people's health and lifestyle through judgement.

I take out from here at least once a week, but recently I noticed my food came in a much smaller, bulkier container than I usually get. I'd estimate that portion size was about 2/3 what I am used to. Don't chintz out on us, guys, especially with a new burger joint opening up next door.

Solid food and solid staff. I think the staff are nicer than downtown's branch. Nothing fancy though. Can't go wrong with the chicken plate or chicken wrap trio. Choose your soda and always get garlic mayo and potentially if you like it spicy - their hot sauce.

Situated in the heart of NDG, this Boustan location is a blessing. Yummy, reasonably healthy food in good portions at good prices.

Like the Verdun Boustan, I have found them accommodating of reasonable requests but unlike the Verdun Boustan their portions and food quality are a wee bit better. Also their kitchen doesn't overheat the seating area (and the poor guys in the kitchen) too much in the summer. Conversely this Boustan location gets a wee bit cold during the winter.

I appreciate that it has a good size Bixi stand on the Grand Boulevard bike path (this alone has increased my visits by 50%).

The bathroom is unusually clean for this type of establishment (please keep that up!).

I've only had my order messed up once in the dozens and dozens of times that I have been here, and it was because a new guy was distracted by convincing me to upsize my shawarma in a pita to a combo and then more food delivery guys came in.

On the one hand it gets a wee bit sketchy after a certain hour (they are open late) but on the other hand the local police often come here to get supper on the go.

In summary, a great addition to the neighbourhood and a good choice for your health and budget.

C'est, de loin, la meilleure cuisine méditerranéenne que je connaisse. J'y vais à toutes les semaines. Des fois, plus d'une fois. Toujours chaud, toujours frais; les portions sont généreuses et leur (nouvelle) poutine est surprenamment excellente.
Le personnel est sympathique; le service prompt et courtois. Je le recommande très fortement. Un incontournable à N. -D. -G.

The location is extremely busy filling delivery orders that in store customers get really bad service.
The guy at the cash taking phone orders when you wait in line to pay for your food sitting there. Just punch it in an let me pay, dont leave the food sitting there. I came into store because Im hungry and impatient.
Lastly, the chicken wasn’t cut fresh, it was pulled from a bin the kept on the side of the grill. Obviously the last chicken stack was finished and cut into scraps. I watched you pull scrap chicken from the plastic bin and put it into my sandwich. So I paid for my sandwich and tipped under my usual rate. I don’t think I’ll go back there after seeing this.
Yes I ate the scrap chicken sandwich, it was ok.

Personnels pas accueillants et souriant.

Le propriétaire a intérêt a parler avec ses employés au lieu de remercier les gens qui disent des bon choses. Sinon il risque de perdre beaucoup de clients.

Very good menu and cozy environment. Unfortunately during the winter, it's cold inside every time the door opens.

If youve never been to the Atacama desert, fear not. We have something dryer here in our hometown of Montreal. I don’t know the science behind boustan’s beef but its had the moisture sucked out of it or something. Sometimes it even sucks the saliva out my throat on the way down to my stomach. It has the same effect as salt on prosciutto but in your throat. On the flip side they have quite a good choice of refreshing beverages to soothe youre dehumifyed body after partaking in eating our very own atacama deserf beef.

This boustan branch in ndg has to be the worst.quality of food no good other locations much better

Boustan is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get. From the dryness of the beef to the uncomforting taste of the potatoes or even the plastic rice. I’ve ordered many times to conclude that there is no key to a good Boustan plate. You just eat it cause you’re hungry. On a good note, if you don’t choke while eating the pita bread you’ll be fine. Also, they provide a whole cabbage leaf so if you own a turtle that’s a plus. I would recommend going for the pita if you have good dental insurance. I gotta admit, it used to be way better back when it opened.
