As a vegetarian I can never enjoy shawarma but this place fulfilled all my dreams. The shiitake stan was incredible. I cannot recommend highly enough

I like Boustan so much but I won't order from this one again. No taste at all tonight and the beef must be from yesterday. Verdun is the safe choice I guess.

Food was delicious but the thing from which is disturbing is the worst customer service we get from the night staff. We ordered few stuff and mistakenly one item was ordered twice & I asked the cashier for the help and he was like ‘It’s not our problem, you guys told me to do so’ and all & started laughing at us. I was offended by that thing and was expecting to get helped in a kindly manner but the staff’s ego was fragile. We get the response with lot of aggresion untill a tiny little guy came and started behaving like he’s gonna hit all of us, the other staff members was just watching the show and a guy was trying to pull him back to prevent us getting hitted.
The worst ever experience I ever had and altough I’ve complained this incident and emailed boustan restaurants. Attached pic guy was the one with a lot of aggression

The best service of all the places where I have eaten, the staff is very smiling and friendly and they speak a little Spanish, the pitas are very delicious. I have been to about 5 places but the ones here are super delicious.

We ordered falafel bowls from Boustan along with their zaatar chimichurri and vegan aioli epice. While the quantity of the bowl was great, the falafels were cold, bland and appeared/tasted slightly undercooked. With falafels being the main protein, it seemed like a waste of money.

The hummus tasted alright, but the zaatar chimichurri was tasty. However, the quantity of the dip was too little for the price.

In from Vancouver.first stop in Montreal is Boustan! Best vegan skewer (shitake mushroom)! Must have a pita and garlic potato! Team is so nice!

Very nice Boustan located next to the boxing gym, very friendly service and good quality food. Shouts out to Omar for being so welcoming and brotherly!

The cashier who took my order was extremely rude and impolite. He got nervous because i changed my mind and decided to take a sandwich instead of a bowl. He had no patience at all. Plus the pita sandwich is ridiculously small and not even tasty.
Not going back to this store, not worth it and really bad service and treatment of the customers.

Un des pires service que j'ai eu. Je demande à avoir sans gluten et je me fait quand même mettre un pita et du humus dans mon plat sans qu'on ne me demande. Ils mettent systématiquement les produits dans les plats.me semble qu'un bon service c'est de demander ce que le client veut.

People working there dont know how to talk to people. Each and every guy lies there about time and food.

Best place for late night food. Big shoutout to Omar for still taking our order last night despite it being near closing time. The vegan plate was delicious we will be coming back for more️

Visited on a Sunday afternoon and order a Falafel Sandwich and 3 x Falafels. Didn't like either, the Falafels tasted of raw chickpea flour. 2 stars for the garlic paste which tasted really delicious and was creamy.

10/10 love the food here. Every time I’m in the city I somehow find my way to Boustan. I’d like to make it clear that this specific location is the best one I’ve ever been to.

Insensible aux clients, propreté laisse à désirer. Ils ne te donnent jamais de couteau. Après plusieurs avertissements et plusieurs chances que je leur ai données, I’m done with them!

Went there around 12am, the place was packed with ppl eating and waiting for food.

They seemed very busy with their deliveries as well. However, service was very fast and I got my food within 15min!

Very surprising when the place is packed, but wait time is short. Staffs seemed to know what they have to do.

It was my first time trying falafel (probably not my favourite), I like shawarma plates (both chicken or beef) better.

Was my favorite place to order from. They only have Uber eat now. Hate Uber eat. Why would I pay 30$ for plate. I'll need to find another good libanese restaurant

Found a lemon delivery guy on door dash, but this restaurant went beyond to get my meal for me, the best attitude, respectful, tolerated my anger, good service, and brought my missing meal that lemon of door dash forgot, tried giving tip and refused. Impeccable customer service, Boustan.

Shawarma pita prices just increased but quantity is even less! No longer worth paying around $8+ for a snack sized wrap.

Wow i loved this place. We got their special shawarma wrap which had added fries and eggplant and other veggies in the usual wrap. It was everything other shawarma wraps lack. It was moist and soft and way more flavorful than usual. The prices are also great and the service was speedy

The quality is like you eat oil and uncooked meal. Me and my friend couldn't even finish the meal although we were starving. We told them that it's not eatable and left the restaurant frustrated.

Good value for money. Got the chicken and beef pitas with the garlic potatoes at the side. Taste is on point. Just a bit dry, they add a lot of hummus and very less garlic spread. But it’s a good grub!

It’s not just amazing food! It’s a full vibe. They literally make you feel like family and we had the best laughs as well. Literally my favourite place to eat in MTL! ️

Maybe this was a one off experience but the shawarma I got was sooooo tiny. The meat was great and the sauces were okay. Got the trio with the drink and salad. The salad was pretty fresh. Bumping late night snack joint.

Vege platter did not taste good, turnips, tomatoes, and the lettuce was horrible, throw it out, waste my money.

I ordered chicken brochette sandwich, and they wanted to give me Shawarma wrap but when I insisted, an employee was warning me that it will take 15-20 minutes for the sandwich to be ready! It took less than 10 minutes and the chicken had a bad smell like rotten and the bread was falling apart since it was over toasted. The employees preparing the food are unprofessional, they yell at each other like crazy. The cashier woman looks decent though. Note that I tried the same sandwich last week in the same restaurant but in Laval and it was really good. Seems there’s a problem with this franchise.

Great Shawarma spot in Montreal especially in those later hours when not much else is open. The place is usually busy which keeps the food fresh. Prices are fair and the food was delicious to say the least. I had a Shawarma mix plate and it could be in the top 5 I’ve ever had

Disgusting food that comes with flys inside the plate what y want me to explain more, like bathrooms like their kitchen.
This place should be close for the well bing of the customers and for the health reasons.
100% percent I’m escalating this to health and safety food Canada.
Forget the plate full of rice and slightly dry Chicken on the top.
Shame on you serving ppl this way, no professionalism or éthique!

If you're craving a late night shawarma dish this place hits the spot. I got myself a mixed plate and everything was what I expected. The meat was flavorful, crispy and tender, the salad and potatoes were spot on, and the dips work well with the dish. The portion size if just right for the price, if you're feeling really hungry order extra meat.

I I've been visiting this location almost weeklt since the pandemic started. As being an essential service and working on the road a late night meal that isn't a burger is a great option. My last 2 visits however were dreadful the first time 3 weeks ago was disappointing as I had to remind the employees how to make a creation step by step and it was still not done right. The second time I received a burnt creation with missing ingredients after waiting 40 minutes for a delivery that was cold and just across the street as the curfew does not allow take out. I'm used to walking into the restaurant and having the employees start making my usual order that's how often I eat here. I don't know if it's the new administration or a lack on employee training but based on my last two visits this is not the boustan that I'm used to.

UPDATE: I gave this location another shot and what a disappointment, my creation pita which is the same as the burnt one I received was cold and half the size with nothing inside it. The potatoes had no seasoning at all and tasted like the ones I get at a local breakfast restaurant I'm done with this location and sticking to crescent. There is no way this is the King of pitas.

Good food. The staff who take order is a bit rude and not welcoming. He is very unprofessional and treat you like you are a beggar. Just ignore those person. Other than that boustan is my all time fav.

Le pire des Boustan. Annulation de commande 3 fois sur uber eats/doordash, raccroche au nez au telephone, se chicane avec les clients, appelle la police parce que des clients disent leur insatisfaction.aucun respect, jhabite a coté et jaime mieux aller celui sur Crescent!

Ne savent pas lire leur commande.demande 1 assiette et 2 pita, recoit 3 pita.ils me raccrochent la ligne au nez. Je ne commande plus JAMAIS la bas. Service HORRIBLE et gros probleme de COMPREHENSION.

Le pire boustan de montreal, je recommenderais d'aller voir le Boustan sur la rue Guy pour une meilleure experience.

I went there two times and I was very impressed with the quality of food and how packed was the plate. Great taste.

Ils consacrent trop leurs temps a préparer les livraison par téléphone (UberEats/Foodora, etc). Du coup même si il n'y a personne, tu dois attendre 15mins+ pour un sandwich poulet. Faudrais donné la priorité au clients physique déjà. Sinon c'est bon mais sans effet wow comme auparavant.

Took a mix plate and my stomach kept hurting me afterwards, food wasn't good and didn't even taste, won't go there again

I popped in here after seeing a show at Mtelus across the street, in the late evening. Surprisingly very tasty late night snack, as well as excellent service. The people were friendly and the beef shawarma was the best I've ever tried, honestly.

Meat shawarma was ok and different from other places. No much choices of salad just a few produce like small quantity and there isn't much choices like Basha! Rice always dry and freshness down the drain. Go to Basha instead!

Delicious vegetarian plate! Its located right next to the Telus theater where we were going after so it was perfect!

Une expérience culinaire unique. Pour de ma restauration rapide nous tapons vraiment très haut. Un vrai délice. Je trouve le prix un peu cher et le cadre un peu sommaire, voilà pourquoi je mets 4 sinon pour la cuisine je met un 6!

They microwaved my veggie platter! The potatoes and falafel were soggy and damp! First of all potatoes and Falafel should be crispy and fresh, second if you wanna microwave someone's food in front of them just give it to them n they will do it at home! The guy and the girl at the counter were great and said they are one of the best places in Montreal for shawarma. Prices were okay if the food had any quality at all! This was at 10 pm so it's not that it was at a weird time! It was at the st. Catherine location and would never recommend it to anyone!

Pretty bad.

Tried the chicken shawerma sandwich. The slaw dressing was so cold it made the chicken cold as well. I made the mistake of smelling the sandwich half way through and the smell was so bad that I threw the rest of the sandwich in the garbage. You can get an idea of the smell if you walk by the place.

I'm just anticipating the food poisoning now.

Probably the best place in Montreal to get a pita shawarma or shishtaouk. Can get pretty busy at times but is worth the wait. The cabbage they put in their plates and pitas makes it much better than other places like basha in my opinion.

Nourriture tiède et peu croustillante. Service moyen et souvent en anglais. Je préfère le Boustan de Verdun!

A restaurant, or infections seller. The Indian guy in the was sneezing and coughing preparing foods, the cashier making sandwiches without cleaning his hand. Chubby guy with glasses ignoring customer and yelling for no reason on other employees. Food from good to average to bad and it's WORST. Be careful

There was a big protest going on about a block away the day I went there.

I ordered the chicken platter. A homeless guy was also there and ordered the same thing that I got. Neither of us asked for extra anything although I kind of wanted extra sauce.

We ended up sitting close by one another. The serving is huge, I could easily have it for lunch and dinner. I didn't think I could finish it but I somehow managed to finish most of it. It's a little expensive even though it's tasty and the portion is huge. I think it's good for two people to share at lunch.

Shortly after a girl came in and we could hear her ordering because she had an irritatingly loud overly familiar confident voice. She was asking for extra pickled beets and extra hot sauce because she loves it so much. I don't know why but I had second hand embarrassment.

I still think about the pickled veggies and sitting in boustan and crave the meal I had there. I don't think they are pickled beets, more like pickled turnips or radish.

This location has nothing to do with the crescent one, except for the name as the one on crescent is far, far superior

Since I've discovered this business in 2014 when I moved nearby, I can say with certainty that the quality of this restaurant has been progressively going down the drain over the years. Plates there used to be very good, with a good quantity of chicken that was well roasted and yummy ingredients. In the past years my experiences have been a mix of good and not so good, but I still used to stop by from time to time, because of Boustan's convenient location. Today I could barely recognize the torn pieces of burned meat they mixed with my potatoes as what was supposed to be a "chicken shawarma" plate. I couldn't even finish the meal as I felt nauseous while I was going through it. I am pretty sure that those pieces of chicken have been discarded and reused in my plate. This is completely unacceptable. If you happen to be hungry and you're in the area, do yourself a favour and stop at any other of the many restaurants nearby. Your stomach will thank you for it.

I love boustan! It never disappoints. Always yummy and juicy! I like how the pita is grilled! Compared to other places like basha or amir, they use cabbage instead of lettuce ans i think thats what makes it so good
