It was a very tough school, but it helped make going through university a breeze. Serge Campagna, Ethics and Law teaching, is the greatest professor I've ever come across. To this day, almost 20 years later, I find myself reaching out to principles learned in his class. I have very fond memories from my college years at Brebz, loved my experience.

Had a great time there. Teachers are great. Lots of great memories were made.

I nonetheless feel obliged to deduct one star from this review, as one of the academic advisors made a serious mistake in my file, and sadly refused to be held accountable for it. Luckily the registrar came up with a reasonable solution.

This institution will provide you with sufficient preparation for whatever academic endeavour you wish to pursue, but there are great alternatives for those who want a breath of fresh air after High School.

I was first introduced to this company’s profile via a common link shared on facebook. I checked it out and got my girlfriend a valentine’s gift from this company. They had a professional way of dealing with me and I liked that. I would recommend them surely.

Excellent cégep! Knowledgeable and helpful teachers, interesting extracurriculars, small student body, nice library (but small) and labs. Very nice gym.

The school is a great place where the teachers are really nice and don’t let any students behind. They actually want to make us learn that subject. The teachers will teach us important information in life and not the useless ones we don’t care about. All the staffs are very friendly and I personally loved learning at this school.

This school is an absolute nightmare (and could be, for your children or yourself). This solely-profit-driven "student mill" forces students to comply by a very strict set of unwritten rules, and uses an extremely punitive systems of giving detentions on Fridays after school, as well as Saturdays to students who say, don't participate in various mandatory, unsubsidized activities or students who are three seconds late to class. If one gets caught with a phone in their possession (even their pocket!) during class, the phone can get confiscated for the entirety of the year. Exams are much harder than average schools, and teachers are so strict that a 50% here could be an 85% at a local equivalent-level public school.

I must point special attention to the Secondary 2 and 3 principal, Mme Lyne Harvey. Her extremely strict governing of the school is not only unfair, but criminal as well, punishing students that have real issues:

Exhibit A: " (Mme Harvey) confronted me
And then she started talking about how i dont study
But like i STUDY NON STOP
And its the school ****ing me up
And i dont even have time to do anything i want
And shes like ur school is ur life
And then shes like go to class you have a retenue (detention) on Friday (after class) " - Secondary 3 student

Exhibit B: "Mme Harvey was stalking me in the hallways whenever I was talking to someone of the opposite gender. She "forced" me to drop out of the school by pressuring me beyond mental breakdown. Despite me being in a case of severe depression, they didn't care: Mme Harvey suspended me for MULTIPLE weeks after I attempted to end my own life out of despair" - Secondary 3 student

Exhibit C: "Mme Harvey expelled me from the school after I attempted to post a negative review of the school on Facebook. That's breaking my right to freedom of speech in a democratic society like Quebec! " - Secondary 2 student

Exhibit D: "This place turned me from a healthy boy to a mentally ill, suicidal, antisocial re****. " - Secondary 4 student

For short. DO NOT head to this school unless you are extremely well mentally prepared for an authoritarian school that WILL control your life.

This school is also not cheap. Expect to pay at least $5000 CAD each year to send one child here.

Another argument why this school is absolutely intolerable is its students. Some students here, especially in Secondary 1 thru 3, can be absolutely horrifying to deal with. Often, students will band up in order to target one specific student, often one with disabilities, weaknesses or low grades. Despite how bad the bullying here can be, especially in the locker room (which is unsupervised half of the time), the principals actually don't seem to care about that, allowing the bullying to "slip by". This also complicates the scenarios in which teamwork is forced upon students: it isolates all the bullied students (and students with few to no friends), lowering their grades because of their social status within the school.

To end this off. Some teachers here are clearly biased towards some students while disadvantaging others. As an example, my French teacher said that I got "expelled" when I dropped out voluntarily a few years ago. During some classes, teachers will often correct more leniently some people's exams than others (one time, my history teacher removed 10% off my grade purposely).

The quickest way to end this off is. "Don't go to this school. Please. "

Signed,
Keith Denver

I like the school. The teachers are. Interesting, but most of them always have a class's pet, which I honestly HATE. But most of the students are really nice and I've met some people with who I'll keep a friendship with for a long time. There's also a lot of sports such as la Crosse, fencing, basketball, volleyball, soccer, football. And the students are really hardworking. No wonder why it's placed 1st
