J'ai récemment participé à l'événement des chefs pâtissiers Mathilde et Maxime, où nous avons préparé une délicieuse tarte à la citrouille. J'ai été absolument ravi de cette expérience! L'ambiance était conviviale, grâce à ces deux chefs talentueux. Non seulement j'ai appris une recette incroyable, mais j'ai aussi découvert des détails fascinants sur les ingrédients et même des anecdotes sur leur expérience cuisine. Je recommande vivement leurs événement à tous les amateurs de cuisine. Ils ont réussi à rendre leur recette accessible pour un novice comme moi. Je suis impatient de participer à d'autres ateliers organisés par Mathilde et Maxime, car c'était bien plus qu'une simple leçon de cuisine, c'était un moment mémorable de partage et de convivialité.

Great place to live, great community, amazing staff. The events perfectly organized brings joy to the entire community. The best living experience in Montreal.

I had a great experience living here. Very sad to leave. If I move back to Montreal I would totally rent here again. All the staff are friendly. The amenities are awesome. The location is unbeatable.

Don’t know where they found all their staff but every single person I’ve interacted with has been extremely helpful and friendly. I loved living here so I’m going to try and highlight things in this building that I didn’t see in other rentals that are in the same area:

Front desk and management are responsive and helpful. They really care about their tenant’s happiness which is uncommon even for high end rentals nowadays.
Would often see the building manager working in the common room, and management doesn’t feel like an ominous corporation that owns the building just to collect your money every month. THEY ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THEIR TENANTS!

There are so many fun events going on in the building that are either free or very low cost, so if you are new to the city it’s easy to make friends. And the events are always different each month! (Cooking classes, karaoke, workout classes, etc).

BRIX has their own resident handyman so if you have any issues in your unit someone will come and check it out for a fix asap. (I have placed maintenance requests in the evening and someone came to check it out the next morning)!

Also have an extremely useful package pickup system that alerts you immediately when your package arrives and is kept in a safe locker that you can access yourself.

Walking into this building is very warm and welcoming and feels like a home. I’m sad I have to move out, and I wish I could buy an apartment in this building and never leave.

I stayed a few days with my boyfriend who lives in Brix in the centre of Montreal. Great building with an incredible location. The units are a bit small but the skylounge has a beautiful view and the community of tenants is very welcoming.

I also did a few workout sessions with coach Eric who’s an incredible fitness coach. He was always very professional, friendly, supportive and knew exactly how to balance encouragement with pushing me to have some of the best workouts I’ve had in a while. He tailored the workouts to fit precisely what I needed, and I had a lot of fun the whole time! I highly recommend booking a workout session with Eric. You won’t regret it!

Pour ceux et celles qui recherchent un endroit tout inclus à Montréal, l’espace Brix est pour vous. En plus, elle est au cœur de Montréal avec des cafés très agréables. La communauté chez Brix est également entourée de personnes très sympathiques avec en été une belle piscine extérieure pour tous nous réunir avec une belle terrasse BBQ.

This place had been my home for almost 4 years and the overall experience was really nice. All the staff members are super friendly and always willing to help, the location is perfect, the building concept is quite interesting. Keep it up guys

Je suis à Brix depuis sa construction et ai pris 2 unités d’un coup à l’époque!
Cependant je tiens à dire que malgré le changement fréquent des employés « «l’équipe choc « est tjrs présente et cela fait une énorme différence à Brix!
ERIC est cette superbe personne aux multiples talents qui fait que cette équipe est solide et soudée. Il est tjrs à l’écoute de nos
Demandes et s’arrange du mieux qu’il peut pour nous satisfaire dans les temps malgré les fortes demandes. Il est soucieux de la Bonne marche du building en veillant en permanence à la qualité du travail bien fait par ses équipes qu’il affectionne et respecte en tout temps.
Eloise trilingue, est un autre pilier incontournable de cette équipe de choc! On ne peut pas passer par la Réception sans remarquer son merveilleux sourire et s’arrêter même 2 secondes pour la saluer!
Un grand merci à vous pour votre présence et votre professionnalisme à Brix!

I recently signed a lease at BRIX. The staff is amazing and very friendly. I have been looking for apartments in the same street, however I felt this was the best and most cozy place for me. In terms of answering calls and requests, they are very attentive when I send an email or message. I will provide a later update to this one as soon as I move in and check on everything myself ie gym, pool, entertainment areas and more ;)

Brix is a very cozy place to stay in. I love its ambiance. Staff are very friendly, helpful and listen to residents needs. They have great events monthly to bring together the community (FREE food, catering, coffee, beer) served in those events. The building is kept very clean and organized. A very well done to all.

Teresa is the best hairdresser. She is very talented and knowledgeable. Thank you, Teresa. I loved my new hair color.

I went to go see Teresa for my hair and I really liked the fact that they have a salon in the building. It’s really convenient and it’s at a good location as well!

Habitant non loin de Brix, j’ai loué pour une année une place de stationnement. Je recommande fortement, excellent service, voiture en sécurité.

Tres beau et luxueux, service à la clientèle de quality notamment Zénith à la réception, très serviable, efficace et sincère! Il fait la différence! Très conseillé!

Me and my wife lived here since 2019, it’s a new constructed building, all the facilities are well entertained.
Great staff, they always program events for the tenants and the dogs too! So te whole community feels like a family.
Too bad we have to leave because of our jobs, but the least i can do is share out beautiful experience with other people

I'm very pleased with all aspects of my living experience at BRiX. My apartment is excellent, it's very quiet, the staff are uniformly friendly and helpful

We enjoy all that Brix has to offer, the sense of belonging and being part of a community, with the care from all the staff here has always made us feel welcome and at home.

Apres 5 jours, mon expérience est identique à celle promise sur le site The Brix mais dans un contexte de pandémie (mise en place de protocoles dans le respect des règles favorisant l'intérêt communautaire). De plus, j'ai trouvé au Brix un staff disponible, courtois, bimenveillant, réactif dans un cadre très agréable. Big up pour le choix de la playlist d'ambiance. ;) C'est super cool. Je "shazam" souvent les titres entendus dans le lounge du RDC. Ça donne envie d'y rester.
Bravo pour la propreté et la quiétude des lieux ainsi que l'organisation pratique et adaptée des services.

Very nice community building that offers many services! If you are looking for a unique experience when getting your hair done, Vida Salon is the place to go! Teresa takes her time with you to figure out what hairstyle would be best for you. She listens carefully to your requests in order to bring your hair back to life. You can tell that she really loves her work and makes sure you leave knowing that you are special. She knows how to bring out the beauty in each person with her creativity and passion. When you go to Vida Salon, you don't just go there only to get your hair done, you get to take time for yourself by having your own space. She offers coffee and treats and knows how to set up a good atmosphere according to your personality. 100% would recommend!

I went to see Teresa at the salon within the building and she was amazing! She knew exactly what I wanted and took the time to help me have the most perfect hair- even going as far as video calling with me when I had questions. She went above and beyond and I’d recommend anyone go see her! 5 stars for SURE! Incredibly talented hairdresser!

Upscale building offering great units to live in; new construction, nicely styled, and truly soundproof. The all-included formula doesn't cheap out on appliances or wifi, unlike some similar offerings in the area.

My experience with the management has been limited but mostly positive, as the team was always fast to respond to questions or problems that came up.

Special mention to the front desk team that's always very nice and very helpful!

The area is in my opinion the best to live in on the island.

I enjoyed my year living there, the prices are on the higher side but I've found it's worth it for what the building offers. Thanks again to the whole team, we might see each other again!

I love the new Brix salon, Teresa my hairstylist is a very friendly and professional person. She takes great care of my hair. The feeling after she finished her work is amazing, it is what I was looking for! Thank you Teresa! I will become a regular.:)

Staff trop gentil et compréhensible. J'ai toujours leur collaboration lorsque je leur demande quelque chose à la reception (livraison a venir, problème de clés, oubli de clés, etc.) animaux acceptés c'est merveilleux. Ambiance sociale, beaucoup d'évènements qui rend la vie mieux en temps de covid. Idéal pour les jeunes et mêmes les plus vieux (c'est super bien isolé!)

Je recommande aussi la coiffeuse du building: Teresa (ig: hairstyle.teresa) SUPER open minded, ce qui est en soi bon lorsqu'on est coiffeuse, elle écoute ce qu'on veut précisément. Vraiment gentille.

Très bonne expérience pour mon année à Montréal! Le staff est à l'écoute et disponible. L'immeuble est fonctionnel, je recommande et j'espère pouvoir revenir!

Nous adorons notre vie à BRiX. Merci pour la réouverture contrôlée du Gym et pour tous les efforts fournis durant cette pandémie. Nous apprécions l'implication de toute la team.
Cette place est recommandable à 100%.

Coupure de services, augmentation du loyer élever, nombreux courriel à l'administration sans réponses, vraiment l'expérience de locataire chez Brix est vraiment pas super. Il y a des bruits fort et relativement fréquent dans la rue Dowd et dans le bâtiment en face qui est vraiment nuisible. On parle de party avec plus d’une soixantaine de personnes, DJ, spectacles, avec personnes soules qui s'installe dans la rue et qui gueule souvent dépassé 4h am. Parfois on parle de plusieurs fois par mois que ça arrive. Après en avoir parlé avec le Brix et entendu plusieurs semaines ont nous as dit essentiellement qu’il avait pas grand choses à faire, qu’un inspecteur devrait passé et d'appeler la police si ça nous dérangeait. Cependant ça n’a pas réglé le problème. Souvent il n’y a personne à la réception pour nous aider. Même avec des bouchons on entend le bruit! Qualité-prix vraiement décevant. Au prix que je paie, je m’attends à mieux. Je ne recommanderais pas Brix à personne.

Great building, friendly staff, good location. The management is really trying hard to build a nice community within the tenants by organizing a ton of activities each month. Really enjoyed my stay there but decided to leave because the rent increased and got out of my budget unfortunately. I would not hesitate to recommend Brix to anyone looking for a home downtown Montreal.

Eau froide sur les heures de pointe, augmentation de 3.4 percent + coupures de services, ont nous avais promis et garanti qu’il y aurait toujours quelqu’un à la réception en tout temps, mais depuis plusieurs mois bien avant la crise il y a rarement quelqu’un de présent lorsque l’on retourne à la maison le soir, bruit fort et dérangeant dans la rue Dowd, internet fourni sauf faut que tu te bats avec Bell pour que ça fonctionne, alarme d’incendie fréquente et test d’incendie quand ton alarme sonne tout le temps de 9h à 17h pour une durée d’une semaine. On envoie des messages depuis plusieurs semaines pour régler nos problèmes et on se fait ignorer complètement (aucune réponse) au point où nous commençons des démarches juridiques contre le Brix. Tout ça pour plus de 21 000 dollars par année.

Pros:

shared areas (terrace, playroom, gym, sauna, ice rink, lobby, meeting room), amazing location in between Chinatown/downtown/old Montreal/quartier des spectacles, great front desk service, responsive next day maintenance requests, a sophisticated software system, all inclusive formula (including fast fiber Internet), high ceilings, decorated with art pieces, everything is new from last year. It's nice to be able to walk to the bar next door (Pelicano) without having to wear a coat.

Cons:

Room design is problematic:

- unable to control the temperature properly (target set on thermostat are never reached) [Update: they've replaced every air conditioning actuators and every air filter]
- small dishwasher provided tends to clog [they'll come and unclog it for free]
- lack of hooks in the bathroom
- no light switch at the entrance.

Also; restaurant at the ground floor may bump up the required insurance premium. The pool is indoor so only get to enjoy for 3 months out of 12.

The grocery situation in the area is not ideal; expensive IGA in complexe Desjardins and subpar groceries in Chinatown.

Il n’y a pas d’immeubles comparable à Brix, l’équipe se donne à fond pour faire de brix une expérience d’habitation hors du commun. Le personnel est toujours présent et très aimable, les pièces communes sont super et bien pensées. Les événements organisés sont vraiment apprécié, on a toujours du plaisir!

Magnifique bâtiment avec plusieurs pièces communes, endroit calme qui se situe au centre ville. Événement fréquent. Des employés très gentils, chaleureux toujours accueillit avec le sourire. Un vrai plaisir de vivre à Brix!

Pool and BBQ! Common spaces are really nice, the gym is great. Mail system is organized, recycling garbage too. How awesome is it that this is built on the intention to create community? ! I am SUPER impressed with the number of events and then intention to create community. That is super rare and a gift. Really nice front staff make life a little sweeter ;) Responsive administration too. All around, 5 stars:)
