I wanna thank the supervisor Hafid and the salesperson Vincent for being so nice when I came back the 2nd day in the morning at 9: 30 after I had shopping and bought something from your place during the week of Black friday!
I had forgot something precious the previous night and when I discovered that, you were already closed.
I was so sad as it was something valuable.
I came back like I said in the morning and I know you open at 10 but Hafid was nice after I insisted to let me in and then came Vincent who remembered they found something last night and put it above.
So when he brought it, I recognised it was mine and was so happy!

Vraiment cher client, faites attention avant d’acheter cher browns. Mickael Kors est depuis plus de 2 semaines avec 40% de réduction et vous avez le magasin brown à quelques pas, qui n’applique aucune promotion. La vendeuse a fait semblant de ne pas relever ma remarque. C’est inadmissible. Avant d’acheter vous avez un téléphone comparer le prix. A vraiment éviter ce magasin.

Had the shoes I was looking for however disappointed in the service, the guy who helped me was very judgemental in my decision to order online. The information he gave me on the shoes I was interested in was not entirely true.: :
Sport expert had more knowledgeable employees, very friendly, and they even had a treadmill to run in the shoes to see if you like them which I found very very useful. Overall go to the sport experts! Wouldn’t come again.

Mes amies et moi sommes des fidèles clientes de Browns, car le service est impeccable. Cependant, je ne comprends pas la raison pour laquelle le volume de la musique doit être si élevée. Nous sommes dans notre fin vingtaine, et trouvons quand même qu'il est dure de communiquer entre nous et avec le staff qui travail. Ce serait un point à améliorer rapidement, car une bonne communication est la clé du succès.

Horrible experience. First the salesperson was only half attentive and didn't give me productive advice. Then when I gave concerns that non of the boots I tried on feel good he got his manager to strong arm me to buy a shoes that I expressed that it didn't feel good. Then I learned later that the brands they have are only generic high end brand, but no quality.

Overall, I would not recommend anyone to go shop at Browns unless you want to be forced to buy boots and be prevented from leaving if you don't.

I have ordered Geox children shoes online and they have arrived marked all over with a blue pen. This is the second time that they send me damaged goods.

I would appreciate it if they would review what they are sending out to customers as it is such a waste of time to have to return these damaged items.

Joseph just helped me pick out my winter boots, he is very professional, efficient, and gave me great fashion advice when I asked for his professional opinion. Would definitely look for him for my next purchases at Browns! Thank you Browns for starting to take care of the previously known customer service issue, & thank you Joseph for simply being the best!

Lots of varieties. But i personally didn't like customer service. One person is there who is helping me to find my boots but he is so rude. When i asked him for the size he is looking at me like i am asking him some money for nothing.

Browns please to value your customer hire some good customer service people. (Preferably youth)

Clean place and many options but the one who helped me to try on boots, Dimitri, was trying to pressure me to buy and I just wanted to try the size to buy online and I was going to try another boot and he said come back another day like he just told me to get out. Pretty disappointing.

I went there to look for my winter boots. I like the store because there are many choices but I didn’t like the customer service. One old male stuff keeps following me everywhere I go and ask if I need a help. He helped look for a couple of boots but I didn’t like them. He asked me why? And he continued they are good and so on. I said to him I wanna look around for other choices and I will ask if I need a help, hoping to let me look around alone before asking for help. But he keeps following me everywhere and every boot I took to see, he asked me do you want this? It’s too much. I wanna be alone to see what’s good for me and I’m not a kid I can ask for help when I need it. I wanted buy boots but I was not comfortable buying them with him. So I left the store without buying. I felt like I was stalked by him in the store. I didn’t feel comfortable at all.

Canada At this location yesterday, August 9 around 2: 15-3: 00 pm, I experienced the worst costumer service! The SA that assisted my partner was so nice, while im roaming around I asked the other SA to find a shoe for me and he doesnt look like he wants to work or serve me. I asked if they have the shoes that I want. He said NO! NO! He was so rude! Meanwhile, when I was about to pay for the two UGG winter boots we got. I noticed that he was all smiling to other clientele (“white people”) I felt like he was ignoring me because he thinks he wont get commission! RACIAL PROFILING! - ME AND MY PARTNER ARE ASIANS

Worst customer service ever! There was 4 employees behind the counter talking and laughing between each other and none of them bothered to come and ask if I needed help. Even after I went myself to the counter seeking help with the a size, they kept talking to reach other as if I didn't exist. That's what happens when you hire a bunch of kids who don't understand the principal of business!

Literally just left the store. It was my first time going to Browns and I’ll definitely never come back. Terrible first impression.

I went with my boyfriend to browse for some shoes. One employee (a middle-aged guy) greeted us. He seemed nice at first and very attentive. We asked to try on some shoes. The whole time he kept asking if they’re nice and if we wanted to buy them. I thought okay it’s just how they sell stuff but he was being super pushy. There were a pair that my boyfriend liked but were out of size, so he said could order them online for us. But we wanted to try them on physically first to see if they’re comfortable and look good, so we declined, thanked him and were about to leave. He wasn’t too happy about it and snapped. He asked us if we “wanted to buy shoes or not”, and we said we were just looking. He got super offended, started complaining and acting passive aggressively, most likely thinking we wasted his time. Tired of his constant rambling, we finally gave in to get the sneakers shipped. He left, came back and said “you know what, I don’t have that size”? This guy is only focused on getting commissions and couldn’t care less about you if you’re not making a purchase. No professionalism whatsoever. Ironically enough he claims that their customer service is one of the “nicer ones”.

Store is nice and clean with a decent selection though, probably the only positive points about this place.

If you’re certain to buy some shoes and not walk out empty-handed, this store is for you. If not I recommend going elsewhere if you’re looking for good customer service. Can’t talk for other staffs but this one completely ruined it for me.

Très belle sélection de chaussures
MAIS, erreur sur la pointure sur une commande en ligne ; j’ai dû me déplacer pour me retrouver à attendre d’être servi malgré m’être annoncé au comptoir et le fait que plusieurs employés sur le plancher parlaient entre eux. Service hautain, très paresseux et sans faire d’effort pour trouver un échange satisfaisant ou même s’excuser pour mon dérangement…
Je vais définitivement encourager d’autres magasins bien avant celui-ci

I got some UGG winter boots here and the sole started coming off after 1 month. This is more UGGs fault and not the Browns fault. I am leaving a 5 star review because I was able to take the boots back and get a full refund with no hassle what so ever. This gives me confidence to shop here in the future without any worries.

J'ai reçu un service excellent et rapide. J'ai été surpris par le design de la boutique, c'est incroyable. J'ai moi-même travaillé dans la boutique et ma fille était ravie d'une telle variété de chaussures. Les vendeurs masculins étaient très polis et attentionnés.

Je vous déconseille de cette magasin qui traite très mal ses clients. Voilà samedi le 19 Juin 2021 j’étais avec mon frère pour chercher ma commande, en passant au comptoir et le Gérant Hafid, il m’a surpris agressivement on me donnant des ordres d’aller attendre en fil, pointer le doigt sur nous! Par la suite nous ont c’est plaint au superviseur qui était là sur place ensuite le superviseur a pris la défense du gérant! Malheureusement le gérant c’est adressé à nous on criant; nous disons de ne plus revenir dans son magasin Browns de la rue St-Cathrine comme si étais le Grand Boss! Nous étions choqués de son comportement aussi agressive et désagréable

J'ai eu la chance d'avoir David, non seulement il est rapide comme l'éclair, il m'a surtout beaucoup aidé dans mes choix de ballerines et sandales. Il connaît les modèles sur le bout des doigts! Merci David:)

I love the selection of shoes in the store which is one of the reasons why I stopped by this location.

The downsize of my experience for the 2nd time is having to deal with a super pushy sales person who I had in my mind nothing but pushing random shoes in my throat to make commissions.

J’étais absolument très déçu! He didn’t treat me as a client but just saw dollars sign. Ceci me rappelle mon expérience à Nordstrom a New York.

If the management could read these reviews maybe sales people could be retrained. I’m definitely returning my purchase which I like but the service was so awful that I’d rather go to foot locker.

If you want a decent shopping experience where sales people are not as pushy and only thinking about commissions dollars signs and acting like cars sales people I will not recommend this store.

Absolument super décevant!

Feedback after going back to return my purchase.

I went with the intention of returning my purchase mentioned above, but after meeting the manager, a very nice gentleman, I didn’t return the pair of shoes but instead voiced my concern to the manager regarding the sales person who was literally trying to « sell me his kidneys «  just to make commissions.

The manager listened attentively to my concerns and promised continued training of associates. I’ve spent a decades plus managing retailers so he knew where I was coming from. He also said that he read reviews which a better way of actually getting the real pulse of customers service.

As of now I’ll change my review from a 1 star to 3.75 until my next trip to this location.

My advice would be to go in talk to a manager who will have a great sales person at your services for a wonderful experience.

Hopefully this was long detailed and helpful.

Had no trouble purchasing my 1st timberland in the store. One employee immediately approached me and lend a helping hand on what I’m looking for. Even told him that i don’t understand French and he was quick to say sorry. Definitely coming back.

Was passing by and needed try on some winter boots to figure out my size for future reference and for a friend who has the same size as me and was going to buy boots soon. I asked a sales associate to help me out. I had an idea already to what size I must be so it legit took only 5 minutes and I thanked the sales associate and told him I would be buying next time. He got mad at me and told me I wasted his time, making me feel bad and apologizing to him, to which now that I think about it, I really shouldn't have. I also tried to ask him a question and he answered in a way as if I was bothering him and dismissed me. I left the shop feeling guilty and upset. Coming from an older adult man you'd expect a little more maturity:/. I then went to the Brown's at Mirabel Premium Outlets and the sales associate there was so much more helpful and such a sweetheart.

Workers gaslight you for their commission if you mention the shoes don't fit your feet. Sales people here are slimy and don't seem to be terribly knowledgeable about their own products. I have visited this location 4 or 5 times and it's always the same disappointing story.

Gonna use them to find my size and buy online instead.

Achat d'une paire de bottes d'hiver B2 en ligne (159,99$), moins de deux mois après l'achat la semelle se decolle au talon.une espece de colle est visible + trous dans la botte.
Cela semblait extremement fastidieux d'effectuer le retour avec le sourire en personne alors que j'etais le seul client en boutique. On me mentionne plusiers informations contradictoires par rapport au site. On réfute mes questionnements par rapport à la qualité.
Par contre, l'échange de même valeur a bien été.
Prix elevés pour une qualité médiocre.
Je ne recommande pas cette succursale.

La marque maison B2 est de faible qualité apres moins de 2 mois, la bottine decolle de la semaine alors que j'ai payé 200$ + taxes. WOWWW. Je ne recommande pas ce magasin, la qualité diminue alors que les prix augmentent! Ce n'est plus que c'était.

The place is big with a variety of choices. This is my first time here and the sales managers are really super helpful and friendly. I bought a Pajar for 200$ that was on sale for 150$. Sadly, it broke within ten days of purchase. I returned it and there was no fuss or muss to replace the pair. Though I am not happy about this but this is something I have to take it up with the Pajar brand and not the Browns people. The complied to their sales promise of the guarantee.

Hence my rating of 5 stars is for the Browns. As for Pajar I will see what happens with the replacement and then decide. Happy New year 2020

We were disappointed with their customer service. We asked an employee to try a pair of shoes and waited for such a long time with no response from him. If there was no such size, he could have told us but he did not say a word and we just sat there for nothing. Then we asked another person. We saw that he scanned the item and then walked away and served another customer. We were very offended and left the store. We will never come back!

Employees are just plain rude for some reason. I thought it was just 2 of them, turned out to be an epidemic. Please work on customer service quality and appreciation, not everything is about commissions.

I had to return my pair of shoes after a month of usage they come with a one-year warranty just bring them back to the store and the store was very happy to return them and replace them with no problems.

I saw a lot of designer shoes on sale on the Browns website so I thought I could visit the store downtown, make my own selection and try them all. When I was in the store I saw NOTHING on sale so I asked a salesman. He could barely speak French, was not aware at all of the sale on the website, like "you can get Boss shoes for half the price, same as the ones you have in store, what gives? ", and mumbled something about a Browns discount store that could exist somewhere. Seriously folks, get your stuff together.

Repulsive. I went in for an exchange and after trying for 10 minutes to get help I lined up to speak with someone at the cash. I asked for assistance for my exchange and she asked someone to help. A short Asian girl "helped" me. She said they didn't have it and walked away before I could ask for clarification. This style? The right size? What did she mean? Furious I left. I came back in because I still needed the right size. Luckily another girl offered me help and when I told her what happened she apologized for her coworker and explained that it is because they are commission based and I was holding a box of converse which are not that expensive. Essentially the other employees were too snobby to help with such a "low-brow" item. She then retrieved the exact item I needed. So the first girl obviously lied because she was hoping for a better commission. I have lots of heels and expensive boots, and if I had gone in dressed up and was looking at expensive items I would have been given proper service the first time. After being told that that is very normal behavior from their staff, I vowed to never make another purchase at their store again. True to form, every nice expensive and inexpensive pair of shoes I have purchased since was from another option. Truly shameful. Go to Aldo.
