Buffet des Continents de Gatineau

Food not the best. But going for weekday lunch is decent value. I would not go for dinner or weekends.

C’est une question de temps avant que cette chaîne de resto ferme. 85$ pour deux pour cette qualité de manger. C’est tellement de valeur car c’était bon dans le temps. Plus jamais pour notre famille.

Trust me when i say this. Save your money and go eat else where this is not worth it. I was looking for a breakfast and The scrambled eggs looked very suspicious. The Chef then tried to convince me that it was fine even though it looked like it was cooked in boiling water. It was Unseasoned and bland. I gave it a try and it tasted like expired tofu. The food made my stomach hurt afterwards and it tasted like straight butt water. My intestines weren’t digesting this abomination that i just consumed. My stomach then proceeded to make some abnormal noise i didn’t even know it was possible. The only acceptable thing at this buffet was the cute shordy at the front. I went to the washroom and an old man was taking a dumpy like there was no tomorrow. Releasing an absolutely disgusting scent from his you know what. He took of his shoes and his toes were curling and he was moaning and groaning in pain. I felt bad for bro. It was a critical situation. Also the fact that the food is exposed is even more concerning. Imagine the bacteria that people spread by sneezing or coughing and everyone put their hands in the same container. Nah i can’t trust it. Overall 0.5/10. McDonald’s do it better.

Very poor quality!
Dry food and and cold food, nothing tastes good at all a big waste of money, never again they should close down alot better for them. PAID ahead, 109 $ for 3 people we did not even stay half an hour for the disgusting food! I can't recommend any food there even the pastry, salad and fruit

A perdu beaucoup de plumes avec les années. La nourriture est de moins en moins bonne.
Très chère et de plus on met déjà le pourboire dans le prix et on nous demande un autre pourcentage pour le pourboire.
Il faut faire attention. Nous avons dit a la caissière le pourboire n'est pas déjà inclus? Elle enlève vite l'option sur la machine à carte.

Very good buffet, it has a wide variety of dishes, of different types, there are Italian, Asian, American, Mexican. Salad bars and many desserts.
Everything is very well prepared and tastes good.

Bad. Horrible low class experience. You pay before you eat. Selection of food is bad. Kids running everywhere. A real nightmare.

Première et dernière fois à ce resto. En 2 k celui de Gatineau. Les enfants sont seuls au buffet à lecher les ustensiles. Manger à même les réchauds. Nous à Mtl les enfants doivent être accompagné d'un adulte au buffet. Sans compter la clientèle irrespectueuse qui laisse leur dentiers sur la table bien en vue de tous.au moins la gérante est super gentille. Cependant ça ne vaut pas le détour.

Pas très bons pour le prix par personne c'est criss pas maniable très très déçu pas a recommander

La bouffe laisse à désirer 24,99 pour de la nourriture surgelé et sans goût pour ce prix là on peut manger mieux n'importe où excepté au buffet des continents.je ne donnerai pas cette nourriture à mon propre chien

The food options good and always prepared hot and fresh. There’s always so many options available. The staff are always pleasant and very welcoming as well.

We enjoyed buffet very much, all of the staff were very pleasant, it was nice that they had staff putting the food on your plate. A very good choice if you are in Ottawa/Gatineau area

We always enjoy the food here, we liked the roast lamb this time and it was served at the hot buffet side.

The was extremely nice and the restaurant itself is beautiful but other then that it was a complete waste of time and money. We spent most of the time talking because the food was not edible. It tasted like cheap Chinese takeout. The salad dressing was off didn't taste right at all as well as the food was cold and some bits were hard like it sat there for a while. I heard so many great things about this place but will definitely not be returning.

Non merci, pour moi ma passe est fait.soupe won tong, pas bien cuite, ailes de poulets froides, et pas trop de choix. Voila c'est mon expérience d'aujourd'hui à se restaurent.j'ai pas l'habitude de commenter, mais la ses comme sa et le prix que sa coûte ses rendu dispendieux. Comme partout ailleurs d'ailleurs.

Visited with my family and the food was absolutely delicious and amazing. The staff was also quite helpful and nice. Will definitely go again with family and friends.

The food is delicious, the staff very welcoming and the quality of service makes it a real deal.

I think this place is the best all you can eat within Gatineau-Ottawa region. Also great for kids, free all week except on the Saturdays. The food is always fresh. Morning brunch are the best.

It used to be one of the best in Ottawa/Gatineau area. However, over the last few times I was there, found the quality of food is awful. The salad is not fresh, the cooked stuff either not well cooked or over cooked and taste so bad. I thought, it could be only that day but tried it 2 more times with the same impression. I feel that is completely changed to the worse.

One of our favourite places in the Ottawa area to eat. It was our first time back since COVID started so it was a little unusual having the staff serve the food. It didn't matter though as everything was hot, fresh and delicious.

The waiter was not very friendly but the food is delicious and fair price. Health mesures are respected

Worse buffet in the region, expensive, rude staff, disgusting food. Would gave 0 stars. Most of the food were too sugary, undercooked or at best lukewarm. Worse it that they add a 12% service charge. Will never go there again and will tell everyone I know not to go there.

Cela fait près de 15 ans que je n'ai pas mise les pieds. Très peu déçue. Le service, le personel, les installations et mesure prise envers le covid sont excellente. La seule bémolle, c'est envers la nourriture. Manque de cuisson, un peu cru dans plusieurs plats. J'ai pas aimé gaspiller. Parcontre, le goût est bon et savoureux. Étant travailleuse dans cet industrie, je lève mon chapeau. Surtout ce soir, je voyais des gens ne pas respecter les consignes côter desserts. Ça passait sous la barre mais heureusement un employé intervenait.

Pire restaurant on vous fait payer en arrivant et vous charge 12% de service immédiatement sur votre facture et le ramassage des assiettes à été fait une seule fois.en plus la personne qui vous remet une assiette n’a aucune hygiène ex il jouait avec son téléphone, les mains dans ses poches et je vous déconseille ce restaurant pourri comme restaurant première et dernière fois à éviter

If you like apple crumble made with canned apple pie filling, or perhaps mac and cheese completely absent of salt or flavour, overcooked chicken, Asian rice made without any seasoning to give it that boiled minute rice taste, or a large variety of generally bland tasting food, then this is the place for you. Service and atmosphere were good.

The mussels here has dirt you can taste while your eating them. I understand with the virus and all you go choose something and they give it to you but if your getting something you they give you only 1 of it. And the food has 0 taste, it is bland. Also I understand everything changed because of the pandemic but it can't change the taste.

Food was real bad, which is such a shame because the restaurant looks so lovely and servers are really friendly and helpful?

Clean and well organized for a buffet during COVID. However, almost all the meat was overcooked and pretty dry. Even at the carving stations. Fruit was really good though! Ripe and full of flavor! I would say the fruit and Ceasar Salad were the highlight of the buffet. It was worth a visit but I don't think I'll be back again.

Certains mets sont délicieux, d'autre moins. Il est intéressant de pouvoir goûter à des mets de différents pays. Nous avons bien mangé.

If I could give negative stars I would, everything was absolutely disgusting. Took one bit of it and hated it, gave it the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe it's just those dishes but it was all disgusting and over cooked. When I asked to see the manager they weren't even wearing their mask properly and told me there was nothing I could do. When I asked to speak to the owner he told me I should have chosen a different restaurant and that they would refund me. It's absolutely disgusting save your money

I went yesterday with my dad.and because of covid it's not the same experience. Some of the food was cold. Can't serve yourself which sucks big time. You need to follow the arrows and do lineups to get your food. Not going back until covid is gone.

Sa ne vaux plus le détour depuis 1 ans que je passe a gatineau pour le buffet des CONTINENT ben oui covid mais la plus part autre ouvre en se moment pis lui NON

We love this place, we drive from west Ottawa because everything is great: food, people, managers, waiters, during the pandemic too they keep the service and food at a high level. Will cone again once zones allowed. Worth to go everyone will find favorite food. Good luck We support you

The building is nice. That's about the only good thing I can say. The food was atrocious and I'm betting there's a 50/50 chance I'm going to spend the next couple days talking to the big white telephone on the floor.

Great service, our server was always making sure everything was alright, filling our drinks. Food was fresh and delicious. Nothing to complain about. Best all you can eat in Gatineau.

Really large selection of the basics of everywhere lol It wasn't the best food I've ever eaten at a buffet, but it was filling and the staff was very friendly.

Probably one of the best designed Interiors for a buffet that I've been to. There's a sense of International Grandeur here. So full points for a good environment and atmosphere.

The food is good. It is a good old-fashioned version of what international an Buffet would look like from a like focusing on a North American perspective.

There is a good selection of food but is quite uninspiring. You bring people here because you're not going to offend anyone and there's probably something there that everyone will like.not all the dishes are amazing. But it still a good place to go to.

Most food is either bland or too salty, there's no middle ground. Their different roasts are very flavorful, the staff is warm and welcoming. Don't go for the sushi unless the person making it is there, otherwise they're not fresh.

On est des clients assez reguliers. Mais aujourd'hui la nourriture etaient vraiment decevantes. Soupe won tong pate granuleuse et bouillon brunatre vraiment pas bonne en plus pas d'echalottes pour mettre dessus. Il avait mis persil ouff. Les eggs rolls vraiment secs et goutaient juste huile

Je vais souvent diner avec ma copine et ma fille le samedi. Ma fille mange gratuit. 46.56 pour 3 buffet et 2 drink. WOW. Et ceux qui disent que la bouffe est pas bonne. Cest un buffet.pas un 5 étoile francais. Si tu veux du caviar tes pas a la bonne place buddy.

Les serveurs sont très rapide et à l'écoute de tout leurs clients. Par contre, la nourriture n'est pas au top. La nourriture part très vite et les cuisiniers doivent vite réaprovisionner. Mais cette vitesse de réaprosionnement en prends un bon coup sur la qualité de la nourriture. J'ai goûter à du poudding au chocolat (peu coûteux en terme de production) et le poudding goûtais tellement concentrer que j'ai cracher. Sa goûtais le sirop de sucre hyper concentrer et pourtant, ce n'est pas difficile d'ajouter davantage de lait. De plus, ma salade césard était vraiment bof (goûtais que très peu et la salade était mouiller), celle de costco est bien meilleur. En bref, près de 17$ pour un jeudi soir avant taxe pour de la bouffe avec une qualité très peu travailler. Décu d'avoir payer autant cher pour cela. J'aurais définitivement trouver mieux ailleurs et pour moins cher.

Been here twice, honestly the name doesn't fit up to the expectation. I mostly enjoyed the service than anything, the food taste is okay might've as well just hit a Yang Ming buffet. But when you hear "continent" you have expectations for different mouth watering ethnic food. I liked that continental had more space and they even had escargot but unfortunately it was dry as hell. Please take calamari out of the menu, the heat lamp isn't doing it any favours. I didn't like that they didn't have labels on their dressings and not alot of vegetarien options. I liked that the lineup wasn't long and our server was very nice and the drinks came in time. The price is convenient too.if you don't get drinks of course. Also they seem to have such a large range of diversity going on in their hiring system that's nice.

I used to go dine there with my family as a kid simply because we would eat our weight in food at the time. The food isn’t intensely good but does offer both seasonal and year-round food. The ambiance is rushed and the place is very packed. But food is food and that is always worth something. But stay aware that regardless of the tons of ingredient list, this might bot be the best place to bring someone who’s vegan, vegetarian, gluten/lactose intolerant or even someone who has multiple food allergies as the place roam with kids and parents and tourists.

The childrens adore it and for the parents it's a blessing. The best food and service in Ottawa Gatineau are! ND the best it's not expensive. Bravo to the owner from Greece

Very nice building, clean and very professional service staff. Food varies from great to barely food depending on the dish. Best advice I can give is try it once and see if they have food you like in quality you accept. Do not expect revolutionairy cooking, but the food is fresh and hot. Also parking is horrible. Expect a long walk.

It wasnt what I expected. I heard great things and decided to try it out with a friend. It didnt seem any different then a chinese buffet. They had a few more options, but the food was bland for the most part. I expected more variety and many of the meats were dry. I expected there to be some african food, there was dry bbq chicken maybe that was it? The little round potatoes and scallop cajun potatoes were really good. I loved the atmosphere itself, really cozy with all the feels of the different countries. I wouldnt go out of my way to return. However its great for family or the experience itself. Our waitress was really on top of our refills and clearing iur plates. Really friendly staff
