Bunmi's Kitchen

This place is a scam. First of all, when I tried to check out, my order total was $70, and the 'taxes' were listed as $14. This works out to a tax rate of 20%? In the province of Quebec, the sales tax is 15%, so they added 5% out of nowhere. Extremely questionable. Second of all, I was about to be charged a 'service fee' of about $3.50, even though I ordered my food for pickup. Why should there be a service fee when I have not ordered delivery and there is no in-store service available? Nonsense. Lastly, their prices are astronomically high. I have had Nigerian food in several different Canadian cities and never come across a place that charges this much. A plate of jollof rice, plantain and chicken for $35 is an insult to the buyer.

I didn't end up buying the food because I was appalled by the business practice. I would advise anyone against ordering here.

Worst customer service! Very unprofessional! They don’t answer your questions, they can’t tell you the quantity of food you’re getting for the price. I called and the woman I had on the phone was shouting on my for asking her questions.

Placing my order was extremely easy on the website. It was very user friendly and I opted for delivery which was prompt. The food was really amazing, it also came with complimentary drinks. What made me give it 5 stars other than the food being excellent was, the restaurant kept communicating with me from the moment I placed my order till the time I received my food. I highly recommend Bunmi’s Kitchen if you are in Montréal Canada.

I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal considering the quality, the price is reasonable.
Excellent food. Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Customer Service is fantastic and the Bunmi lady herself is very welcoming. Definitely Highly recommended. Love love love the food.

I must admit, I have ordered Nigerian food on many platforms since my arrival to this town but it’s nothing compared to Bunmi’s Kitchen.
Food is freshly made and hot.
Their food is tasty & I repeat Tasty!
Most meals around have no taste honestly!
I hope the owner keeps up this great job & I pray you all grow bigger so that soon you have walk-in / dine - in around Canada.

The Food at Bunmi’s Kitchen is really good, I tried different meals from their menu including their Rice with Ofada sauce, Nigerian Jollof Rice, Egusi Soup with Garri and it was really great. I recommend we support this Young African Woman who owns this Business, Bravo Bunmi’s Kitchen

Hands down amazing food and I would recommend having the Jollof rice with beef stew. Great portions size very filling.

Bumni's kitchen is amazing. You are a great cook, also very kind and hospitable. You’ve got such great culinary skills. I can't hesitate to crave for more.

The stew is one of the best I've had in my life. It has a wide variation of different meats and enjoyed all of them! The boiled egg addition was a nice touch.
