Burger Fiancé

I had a fantastic experience at Burger Fiancé! The spicy chicken I ordered was absolutely delicious, with flavors that left me craving more. The quality of the ingredients shone through, and the staff provided excellent, attentive service. The cozy atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. I also loved the waffle fries that perfectly complemented the burgers.

Everything is vegan! “Pulled pork” sandwich is amazing as well as the kimchi fries and poutine! The fiancé burger was the only “okay” thing but we loved everything else. Got served very quickly. Highly recommend!

I ordered a fiancé burger from Uber.
Not knowing it was vegan… I noticed it said vegan on the bag when it had arrived.

As a heavy meat eater, all I have to say is:

I do not understand how tasty this burger was.

The waffle fries are crispy and delicious also.

The coleslaw was a very generous portion.

My mind is blown.

It was my last evening in Montreal and I really couldn’t decide on what to eat. That’s when I stumbled across Burger Fiancé while walking through the beautiful streets of Old Montreal! Firstly, I would say that the fact that the restaurant is all vegan was so impressive to me. Next, the burgers on the menu are all so different that I don’t usually find in BC. Special thanks to Frank, the awesomely dedicated manager of the restaurant, for recommending the best burgers and I cannot appreciate him enough! The food was soooo good, the buns were so soft and fresh and almost melted in my mouth, the patty was so juicy and delicious and the combination of veggies were perfect! I’d be honest, I was skeptical in the beginning, but I went with Frank’s recommendation and I couldn’t be happier that I did! Thank you Frank! Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone craving a delicious, filling burger! I had the devotion burger!

Nourriture très bonne et service de qualité (notre serveuse était très sympathique), je suis venue sur les conseils d'amis et je ne regrette pas mon repas. Le gros bémol c'est la propreté des lieux et particulièrement des toilettes et escaliers y menant. C'est bien simple si j'y étais passée avant de manger je ne serais pas restée. Sol collant, papiers et taches douteuses parterre, odeur désagréable.ce n'est pas rassurant pour le reste des lieux. Vraiment il faut revoir votre processus de nettoyage qui n'est pas à la hauteur de votre restaurant.

Restaurant très agréable et très bon, petit bémol sur les Mc N Cheese, mais ce n’est qu’un avis personne un peu trop cuite à mon goût.
Sinon tout était super et mon chéri a adoré son burger vegan, je recommande

My friend wanted a dairy-free dinner, and we decided to give this place a try. We're not vegetarian or vegan, but the food were still very good. I got the pulled pork sandwich, which was seasoned really well. I was worried about the texture, but I could barely tell it wasn't real pork. The fries were good as well.

The food is fresh and tasty. I order Fiance burger (with no upgrade) and a small cauliflower dish. Don't try to hold and eat the whole burger pile, as it's extremely rich and loaded and will fall apart. Both the food and service were good.

One suggestion which I have is to add some combos at a reduced priced. Having both the Fiance burger and the side dish ended up too costly (I was not surprised, but do see here a room to improve, as I can, t afford paying that much too often.

Ordered from the west island location. I had the cheeseburger and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend and will go back again.

I had the fiance burger and was rather disappointed. The patty was okay, though a bit crunchy. The vegan cheese and bacon were just not very good. Their kimchi fries were excellent though!

I'm not vegan or vegetarian and I thought the food here was phenomenal! I had the kimchi fries which were waffle fries generously topped with vegan mayo and kimchi. Yum! I also had the pulled pork sandwich. I could not tell I wasn't eating meat! Delicious!

Really good vegan food. Couldn’t even tell that the burger wasn’t meat. The portions are big and the flavours are good. Really enjoyed the kimchi waffle fries. The burgers were ok but nothing extraordinary. A good option for vegans!

I'll start by saying the food was excellent. I got the fried chicken sandwich with kimchi fries. However, the overall experience here was subpar and left a very negative impression. I ordered through an app that currently doesn't allow you to leave comments or put in special requests, nor does it allow you to select "dine-in" as an option, so I put through my order as a pickup (the only option). When I arrived, I saw that there were plenty of tables available and I asked the server if I could stay there to eat my food, and she said yes. While I was eating my food, another employee (I assume the manager) came and told me that I am not allowed to eat in the restaurant if I ordered for pick-up because I was "taking up room". I tried to explain the details of the app I ordered through, and the manager said if I can't figure it out then I need to call the restaurant first. In general, he was very rude and there was plenty of space available inside. I was a paying customer and regardless of how I ordered the food, I should be welcome to eat there.

It was a bit disappointing. The burger itself was ok, not more. The sauce on the kimchi fries was too heavy. The poor waitress was alone during the lunch rush. She tried her best for sure, but clearly this place is understaffed, consequently the service is very slow.

Service from the "cashier waitress" was horrible yesterday night. She barely smiled (it seems that she didn't want to serve us or work)! She was always on her freaking phone which we have to wave or get up at her to get a service. The food was good (but lots of stuff was not available on the menu (no cauliflowers, no Ceasar salad etc.). I won't come back for this horrible service. We ate almost 100$. Me and my friend were generous to tip her almost 20$ tips.
Won't come back.

Amazing food for vegans but i also recommend it for non vegans this food is so tasty you will be addicted

All vegan, great location. I loved my burger (impossible) and waffle fries. They had some mixed drinks and beer options, which was a nice surprise. The staff were super friendly and the space inside was nice in terms of overall space and great vibes. I would come back for sure!

We've ordered yesterday and even if the burger was totally ok, we made the mistake to order their mock deep fried chicken. That thing came burnt black, horribly greasy, and gave us stomach pain for the whole night (from only a couple of bite). Their burgers have some potential but stay away from the rest of the menu.

I was looking forward to visiting but we asked for an accessible table as one of my companions and I can not sit at bar stools. We were waiting for a table to become available and we were told a group that came in after us would be given the table because they were a group of 6 and the tall tables were for smaller groups.

Very disappointed in the lack of understanding of both 1) accessibility and 2) seating in order of who arrived.

Fastest vegan service we’ve experienced. Good was delicious. We enjoyed the cauliflower bites, waffle fries, and Fiancé Burger. Can’t wait to return and would 100% recommend.

During a recent trip to Montreal, my non vegan friends wanted to take me here as it was their favorite burger. I got the special which was a pesto inspired burger with provolone style cheese and waffle fries. I got the impossible patty for the burger. The pesto mayo wasn’t as powerful as I’d like but the cheese was amazing. And obviously can’t go wrong with waffle fries - overall it was so good. The place is cute and the staff was friendly despite our late arrival about 20 minutes before closing. We ended up getting Burger Fiancé again on door dash before I left. This time I tried the “chicken” sandwich. It was just OK compared to the burger I’d had a few days prior. I W ould absolutely go back if I lived in MTL and bring friends vegan or not!

First time trying an all Vegan restaurant and I wasn't disappointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Ordered 100+ dollars worth of food, 3 items missing from the order but was still charged. Contacted Restaurant and given attitude and disrespect. Burgers and food are decent, but not worth the attitude problèm.

Loved the vibe of this cute little vegan burger joint! Had the soulmate which was so delish! Will definitely return on my next trip to Montreal:)

Très bon rapport qualité/prix, les burgers sont très bons. Cependant, le fauxmage semble très similaire à celui de la marque Daiya qui ne goûte pas du tout le vrai fromage.

We went with an friend who she vegan, my girlfriend and I are not, but i can tell the food are super good! The service was fast, polite and very friendly, speak both language (French and english).

We will definitly go back soon to explore more stuff on the menu, by the ways, the menu is short and easy to use with all ingredients listed.

It started out by watching Squid Game on Netflix. Within the first 10 minutes they had mentioned “fried chicken” twice. Couldn’t resist and here begins our journey. We embarked to find vegan fried chicken as I haven’t eaten meat in 3-4 years, and I almost cheated and got real fried chicken. Then we magically found this place and tried their vegan fried chicken and cauliflower bites. 10/10 would recommend. We tried the ranch, house sauce, and bbq sauces and they were all amazing.

Truly delicious burgers, by vegan standards or not. Prices are a little steep but reasonable for how good it is.

I've been trying to find a good vegan burger for a while, but this place is beyond my expectations. So good guys, 10/10 for flavors and service.

I'm not even vegan or vegetarian (although I do try to minimize how much meat I eat) and I absolutely loved the food here. Had the "chicken" sandwhich which was really good and the srirachi fries (may have gotten the name wrong) were amazing! Absolutely recommend!

Tasted good but they got my order wrong on skip. I ordered tenders and they sent a squashed soggy sandwich instead. The bun was almost non existent it was so soggy. Knife and fork meal. Disappointed.

My sister and I went to the restaurant today. I'm not vegan but she is. It was great! I took the fiancé burger and she took the cheeseburger. WE REALLY ENJOY IT. Really great would recommend.
Edit: I went back again and got overcooked onion rings. I was really disappointed because I paid 7$ for these. Still 4 stars for the burger

Mon burger était bon au goût mais pas très jolie en présentation. J'aurais aimé prendre le sandwich de faux-poulet pané mais celui-ci n'était pas disponible.

Large portion of waffle fries but seasoning was sporadic and they were nowhere near crispy enough. Skin on was a nice touch.

Dog was okay tasting but nothing amazing. Bun looked better than it tasted.

Service was friendly but thoroughly disappointing and wrecked the experience. Had to ask twice for napkins and ketchup which eventually arrived 10 minutes after our food and part of my order never arrived despite me chasing it twice.

As a result wouldn't go back and couldn't recommend it.

Burger is a bit overpriced but decent. However the waffle fries were a bit overrated and the chicken tenders were pretty bad.

This Old Montreal restaurant is a fabulous spot for vegetarians and vegans! Burger Fiance has not been open a long time and I was fortunate enough to be one of the first people to patronize it. I've been coming back often and, while they offer a good array of delicious food, the Burger Fiance and kimchi waffle fries is my favorite meal. Since it's only been opened during the pandemic, it's impossible to talk about ambience or the pleasure of a sit-down meal. What I can tell you is that everyone who works there is friendly and proud of the work they do. With the restrictions that have been in place for restaurants, it must be difficult to have started a restaurant during this time. It is good to see that Burger Fiance has already attracted a loyal clientele. Highly recommend you check it out.

Not really impressed honestly, over priced, chicken tenders not Krispy and tasteless, onions rings looks frozen fried, wasn’t as expected with this hype, pictures looks so good and edited for what in reality you won’t get, it’s like McDonald’s but in a nicer version

This place is amazing. The most favorable vegan I have ever had. The waffle fries are fresh and amazing, the vegan fried chicken is so delicious and the tasty is amazing. We also tried the pulled pork vegan it is full of sweet flavors and juicy. And the kimachi fries is sweet and pickled flavors. I highly recommend this place. And I can’t wait too try it again!

I am beyond pleased with this place! Tastes and feels exactly like real meat/bacon it’s shocking (I had the fiance burger with the impossible patty).
Although it is pricey, the quality of the food surely reflects it! Share with your non-veg friends and they won’t be disappointed! Looking forward to trying more of their food items and wishing them success:)

Super disappointed with the chicken tenders, pulled pork sandwich and the house patty. They did not meet our expectations based on what was advertised. It was very pricy for $15 burgers with a “side” of plain shredded cabbage and 1/4 of a pickle. The chicken tenders were rock hard and dry and the pulled pork sandwich came with maybe 2 tablespoons of the actual pulled pork filling. Overall just really let down which is such a shame as this is a new vegan restaurant that we were really looking forward to trying.:/

Awesome people work there because people were truly amazing and helpful to guide us to choose our order. It was delicious and worth trying!

Love love love this place. We drove 45 min to try it and it didn’t disappoint. We got the fried “chicken” sandwich and it was heaven on earth. Everything I could have dreamed of. I can’t wait to get another. We also thoroughly enjoyed the waffle fries and the onion rings. I love a crispy onion ring. Definitely recommend

Unfortunately i was not very impressed. Quite expensive for what you get and unfortunately the fried Vegan chicken sandwich did not live up to it's hype as it was not as crispy as i would have liked. The bun was soft, fresh and perfect. The onion rings were your standard frozen variety. I would have expected a freshly battered onion ring at that price. I know they are new and hope they get better as we need more Plant Based restaurants. I will give them another opportunity in a few months to see if the quality of their food improves compared to the prices they are charging. I wish them lots of luck.

The fiance burger is insanely delicious! We were very impressed, and almost couldn't believe that it was 100% vegan. Taste like meat burger.

J'ai pris les croquettes de "poulet", mon choix sécuritaire de fille difficile.et c'était franchement délicieux! Pas délicieux "pour du végan", juste délicieux tout court.

J'ai toujours eu l'impression que manger végan est supposé être un sacrifice, mais ce resto prouve qu'on peut avoir le beurre et l'argent du beurre.l'éthique et le savoureux, tout à la fois!

C'est avec plaisir que j'ai découvert la cuisine Burger Fiancé cette semaine. Je suis un amateur de viande, mais j'ai décidé de suivre de mes amis dans ce restaurant sans attente réelle. Mais j'ai découvert quelque chose que je croyais impossible, un plaisir coupable végétarien! Le type de Burger idéal pour les gens comme moi qui ne sont pas a la recherche d'un plat de type ''santé'' et qui me permet enfin de placer la phrase ''Je connais un bon restaurant Végétarien'' à ma famille et amis!

Meilleurs burgers vegan que j’ai gouté à date! Un bon gros « confort food » qui vaut vraiment la peine! EXCELLENT!

SO delicious. It’s difficult to come by good vegan “fast food” and burger fiancé blew it out of the park. Burger fiancé might be my new love affair.

J'ai personnellement pris leur burger Âme soeur avec une rondelle d'oignons, le prix était raisonnable, le goût était incroyable et le service était chaleureux et rapide (<15min pour 3 commandes avec chacune un à-côté). Ce restaurant deviendra selon moi un incontournable de la nourriture végane! Bien hâte d'y retourner pour essayer leur boulette impossible ou leur poulet au shiitake avec leurs frites au Kimchi

A wonderful discovery! I ordered their "Soul Mate" burger with an onion ring; their price was reasonable, the taste was delectable and the service was warm, welcoming and fast (<15min for three orders with each one side). Saying this place will become a must in vegan fast food is not a stretch! I can't wait to come back to try their impossible patty or their shiitake chicken with some kimchi fries
