Very nice and spacious gym but the AC doesn't distribute everywhere so it's always so hot and you sweat a lot lol.

Update: I only removed 1 star due to the lack of AC lol but I forgot to mention that the staff is very nice in this location! During my free trial with my bf, we were welcomed by the employee I don't know his name unfortunately (average height, bald, very kind and smiley Caucasian guy with nice blue eyes) and he was very helpful, accommodating, and made us feel welcome. We were pleasantly surprised and loved the customer service we received from him and he was also one of the reasons why we signed up at the gym. Buzzfit DDO is very lucky to have him as an employee.

They've also updated the gym with more equipment (they now have deadlift platforms and indoor turf for sled push/pulls, etc. However, their black mats do need to be replaced though, they're flat and no longer have cushion

Man this place is very cool, I love this place! Pretty cheap for the amount of machines, space of the place and overall atmosphere in it. I definitely recommend going here if you live nearby, you won't regret it. I workout here at least 5 times a week (unless I'm really tired) and I loved every single time I was here.

Amazing service! We had a billing issue since covid restrictions started, we went there worried that we will have to pay a lot since we never cancelled the service. India was awesome and cleared everything up within 5 mins. I truly did not expect such a service especially after my last horrible experience with Gold's gym Saint Laurent, I made the mistake of assuming all gym businesses are the same. Hat off to Buzzfit! Thank you!

I joined this DDO location and I'm happy with the amount of equipment they have.
I can tan and have a massage in one of the super chairs they have there.
My membership allows me to visit any Buzzfit location but this one is the cleanest I have been to.
The graveyard person on weekends is very helpful and keeps the place in order.
There's sometimes some hormone overload young people late at night throwing workout balls around and screaming from frustration long after their workout is done overstaying their visit but besides that it's flawless.
Buzzfit DDO is the best!
Good job to the franchisee/owner and his staff.
Don't forget the rebates you're untitled to with your membership (see picture)

Giving a 5 star review to Khaled because I forgot to cancel my membership for about 3 years, when I moved to another part of town, and he waived the fee for me. I really appreciate this because I messed up my knee playing basketball and will need surgery and the money waived will help with the physio. Thank you Khaled!

I am not a member (yet!) but I have had the pleasure of dealing with Khaled and the team at Buzzfit DDO since they accepted a student of mine as a stagiare. They have been so supportive and welcoming and it is really heart-warming to see how much Khaled puts into helping this student learn the job and succeed at it. The community is better with a business like this, and with people like Khaled in it!

Now it's August 2022, i cancelled my membership in Last November 2021.but they still deduct 22$+TX from my credit card.every time the receptionists giving me a different manager name to e-mail and they refuse to give me phone num.
The owner or manager, Dominic, Bruce.or what ever called.please guys, tell me what i'll do in this situation, i'm losing money every month

Buzzfit is and will always be my #1 go to gym. I’ve been on and off for years with them and still give me great service. The ambiance is amazing and quality time with those machines is what’s needed after a long day.

Worst gym ever and worst management run by the worst manager "Dominic" last month me and my friend signed up the membership. Dominic was the one who was signing us up for the membership. The way he was looking at us was very uncomfortable. When we were done with the signup and we came home and we saw he sent the follow request on Instagram to my friend. We dont even know him! And it was very embarrassing moment for us. We quit the gym and recommended everyone els to go somewhere els than comming here

Before the last lockdown happened. I asked the manager to cancel my membership, he said no need to cancel it now, just keep it open, you won’t be charged. If you don’t renew the membership it will be cancelled automatically. After three months from the reopening, I received an email to close the remaining balance of the last 3 months plus the penalties.
I spoke with the same manager to explain the situation and didn’t even try helping. He said it is what it is.
I called the customer service department, I explained the same. Also, he said it is what it is.
The staff are made up of students, very rude, unprofessional, they don’t know what they are doing or talking about. Manager there is absolutely terrible at communicating information. Avoid or cancel if you are already member, it’s better to go to a valued gym.

I had canceled my membership years ago because I had moved out of the province of Quebec and realised I still get charged. I just spoke to Dominic from buzzfit sources and he was unfortunately not even able to refund me the yearly fees that was charged on my account yesterday. He had zero empathie towards the situation and didn’t even try helping.

Spacious and clean. Never feels crowded. They enforce masking here a lot better than the l'acadie location, which I've also been to. Very polite and helpful staff.

E-mailed them several times since last year asking them not to renew after they re-open after COVID. My email was unanswered and they just charged my account again. I actually had a great relationship with them and referred tons of people, so much for that.

Went today to be told my membership was not recognized because the credit card on record was expired. Received a new credit card a few months back but have been going to that gym, several times a week, and scanning my membership card, since the gym reopened. They never stopped me to ask for my new information. Today, they tell me they are charging me a penalty. I asked why they never called me, or stopped me before. No answer. Told them to wave the $ and charge my new card instead, answer was a flat no. It’s not about the $, it’s the principle. I’ve been a member for years. Tried to argue politely but was shut down. Nice way to treat a loyal customer! Not any more. Cancelled my membership on the spot and switched to Worlds Gym a block away. That place needs to learn about proper customer’s service. You’d think after a pandemic, they’d work at keeping their loyal clients.

User, I agree it's very annoying and probably designed in such a fashion that people will be heavily punished for not updating their payment info perpetually, but in all fairness, they don't know you've changed your card until they try to charge you. It's also mentioned in the policy/contract to let them know a certain amount of days in advance. So in theory, the only one at fault would be you unless they failed to let you know when you first signed up (although you should read any contract you sign), imagine having to call and sort every single customer who was too lazy to let them know in advance, would be hell for logistics is probably why they have a no exceptions rule, as annoying as that might seem.

The majority of people who go there clean up after themselves and are pretty respectful of distance and covid measurements but I noticed a good amount of people not cleaning up after using a machine (young and old people. Clearly age does not matter here) 1- clean up before and after using machine and 2- I genuinely think the employees can be more strict and demand from each individual to clean up after themselves. I might be a little paranoid but the reality is this covid is no joke and it really does not take much to clean up after ourselves.

I'm a long time respected member at Kirkland. I walked into buzzfit dollard des ormeaux with my uncle. I was approached by this over aggresive power tripping manager while tying my shoe. I had my mask on one ear. As I was tying my shoe the manager yelled out at me to get out. With no warning. I never refused to wear my mask and within few seconds, he was calling the police. I'm very displeased with this situation and the abuse of power trip at this gym. Not recommended.

My mom had canceled her membership and was still getting charged up to two months, after we went to cancel it In person. So we end down there in order to see what’s going on until the clerk behind the counter said that my mother had renewed her membership a month prior.which was impossible since we were away for the whole summer and this was the first errand we were getting off of our list being back. So we asked for the proof, and they should us the contract that had been supposedly signed by mother. Only.it was nothing like my moms signature and written in a weird cursive to where we could barely make it out. A manager was called and after we explained the situation, we were only met with dismissiveness and attitude. I asked if we could see last months video footage of mom walking in (the day was signed on the paper), which we were told we couldn’t and that’s when the manager threatened to call the COPS if we didn’t leave! And before you ask, yes we are. My mother being stubborn and told them that we’d wait until they got there, shouldn’t have been more than a 10 minute wait Max.but we were there for 30 mins as they ignored us and the cops never came. I use to love buzz fit but after that experience I will NEVER step foot in their establishment.

I received an email stating the annual maintenance fee will be charged, plus monthly membership fee two days before the transaction will be final. I tried to cancel my membership over the phone. However, this was unsuccessful. The staff member answering my call stated that I needed to cancel 5 days prior to the email sent to not be charged, And that I can't cancel over the phone and needed to do so in person at the gym.

I know many businesses are hurting from the Pandamic, but this is a very dishonest way of doing business. I am sure I am not the only person who had this problem. The gyms are now closed yet again for the foreseeable future. I feel that this is definitely 1 Star review worthy. If I receive a VAGUE reply from a manager or owner on my review saying sorry about my experience, more is needed to keep me as a client.

I had the pleasure of meeting with buzzfit DDO’s personal trainer Sahil. He was very down to earth and informative. He really listens to you as a person and not just as a client. I could tell he really cared about me and my goals.

jewelry and a very helpful and kind employee, Jason, put time and care into looking for it after his shift. Overall satisfied with the gym and the abundance of kindness from the staff. Highly recommend

I cancelled my membership in 2017, since then I didn't hear from them. Since the covid when the Gym was closed I started receiving emails from them and suddenly from nowhere I got an invoice of 440$ to pay. Spoke to Jason on the phone told me that he can't help on the phone he want me to go and negotiate the amount at the gym. Really weird why should I go there if I don't even use the services. It seem that it's not only me that if having that issue. I'm thinking to call the media because they are really scamming people.

Ils chargent les frais d'adhésions et les frais du mois sans même attendre qu'on revienne au gym.on a essayé d'appeler avant pour annuler notre adhésion mais sans aucune réponse. Sachant tout cela, nous sommes allées sur place parce que quelqu'un allait nous aider, mais rien n'a été fait. En plus de cela, en disant que sa ne servait à rien de les contacter par email. Je vais appeler l'office de la protection des consommateurs pour voir ce qui peut être fait et si je peux porter plainte. Je vois que plusieurs personnes ont eu ce problème. Ne vous inscrivez pas à ce gym qui ne pensent qu'à collecter de l'argent sur notre dos!

Although the price is great and environment is clean, i think customer service needs to be worked on. I've had rude sarcastic comments from the regional manager Clint and an unpleasant conversation with the assistant manager Catherine. They have no respect and they don't listen to their clients.

I've mentioned dangerous deffects a few times and nothing was ever done about it and an accident is just waiting to happen, but they don't care. Oh well.

Watch out for extra charge on your credit card! You will silently get penalty $10 extra charge even it is caused by gym staff input wrong expire month on your credit card.

The worst thing is the gym manager was not able to trouble shoot it at all, tried to blame credit card company, and just keep asking you to "proof" the faulty of their work (How can I do that as I am NOT working there). It's not acceptable that they have no idea how their system works and not helpful when they make mistake.

Until now, I haven't receive any official apology from the gym, end up cancelling my membership (which I just paid $28 enrolment fee last month, and they refused to refund it) because of the attitude of the manager and the way they treat their customer. Go there at your own risk!

Nice employees. Very good choice and quantity of cardio machines. If you’re doing weights, chances are most of the machines will be occupied ‘cause there aren’t that many. Shower intensity changes whenever someone flushes down the toilet. No sauna.

My partner and I have been going to the gym since it first opened. The gym is always getting better, the staff is extremely pleasant and they have great teachers. One in particular that we follow is Dana, she's an amazing instructor. She keeps us on our toes with different exercises and without even noticing she makes us work harder! You would definitely want to choose her to be your personal trainer, her goal is for everyone to succeed! Her Zumba, Pilates and corfit classes makes the membership so much more worth it. I would most definitely recommend Buzzfit.

Good prices for the offer. They have a lot of gym devices so you will find easily one free for you. The floor is clean, they have showers too if you need. Also for a little more money on membership you are VIP and may benefit of unlimited massage bed, UV shower and Red light shower, also you may bring one guest with you at each visit and few other advantages. Daily there are organized different free courses for members, scheduled weekly. Buzzfit trainers are available to schedule paid on hour basis.
Heartily recommended.

She made it easy to understand, took the time to answer all my questions and got my membership ready in no time. The greatest part about my visit was I was ready to sign up at another gym @worldgymddo but the service I received was so bad, It turned me completely off. What a relief Thanks @BuzzFit!

As a student, the price is definitely a big advantage if you go to this gym. It is smaller than some other gyms, but if you don't go at the busiest hours, it'll be easy to do your training without waiting for a machine. Although if you have to go between 5-8 on weekdays, it'll definitely be harder to do your training fast. There's pretty often only one or two of a type of machines and since it is very crowded, you will most likely wait.
They could definitely get rid of some of the treadmills because they take a lot of space and are not used that much by people.

Very conventient in location and hours. Staff is generally friendly and they keep the place clean. The problems all buzzfits share are at this location - not enough squat racks, no deadlift platform, and very crowded at peak times. What makes me like this location even less is that it is uglier and more cramped, and also their new benches are uncomfortable. For the price, I'll keep going, but I try to go to other buzzfits more often.

Great staff and clean facility. It is has all the basic equipment needed to be fit and the staff is always there to help you out. It's everything a gym should be!
