Expérience très agréable. Le lieu est parfait. Même s'il y a beaucoup de monde, on se sent dans un lieu intime.

La nourriture est très bonne et il y en a en masse pour deux dans un pique-nique.

Je recommande fortement comme activité de plusieurs heures en début d'après-midi: prendre son temps pour manger et relaxer. Ça permet de bien relaxer qu'il n'y a pas de temps maximum.

Apportez-vous une couverte pour vivre le pique-nique à fond, sinon il y a des bûches pour s'asseoir.

Magnifique concept des plus réfléchis! Les plats étaient exceptionnels et la qualité du service A+!

Décevant! Disons que notre expérience a été mitigée. 40 min d’attente en plein soleil pour avoir notre panier, pas le temps de voir la carte des cidres/vins pour commander alors il faut décider vite en arrivant devant la caisse. La brigade travaille bien et la nourriture est bonne (mais pas Wouah excepté le saumon confit). La soupe froide était très bonne, le feuilleté aux tomates aussi. Par contre, la tomate confite et la salade de pêches au fromage n’avait pas grand intérêt. Le saumon étaitparfait. Les côtes levées n’étaient pas les plus tendres et surtout la sauce crémeuse qui les accompanist était acidulée et ne fonctionnait pas avec les cotes levées (mais très bonne toute seule). Enfin, le bavarois était léger et onctueux mais trop sucré (et les tomates et autres légumes pas n’essaiera sur un dessert). Mais c’est surtout l’organisation générale qui est un peu frustrante. Quand tu payes 100$ pour un panier de pic nique, tu ne t’attends pas à faire 40 min de file en plein soleil. Après, c’est la course à trouver un parasol libre dans le verger. (Prévoir ses chaises ou couverte car tres peu de tables disponibles). Et si tu achètes une bouteille de vin ou de cidre, tu t’attends à ce que cela vienne avec des coupes, pas avec des gobelets en carton. Ah oui mais tse, tu peux acheter des coupes en plastique…come on… Ensuite, deux toilettes sur le site, donc mega file d’attente encore là… On avait déjà été extrêmement déçu par notre dernier souper au restaurant le Pied de cochon cet hiver et disons qu’on a l’impression qu’ils étirent pas mal la sauce… A ce prix là, allez au marché proche de chez vous et achetez des bons produits locaux pour faire un pique nique dans votre parc préféré et vous en aurez pas mal plus pour votre argent.

An experience to try at least once in your life. No getting around it. This place is EXPENSIVE. For the amount and quality of food they give you however, it is 100% worth it. The chalet is quaint and rustic, the food is all locally sourced. The experience of sitting down and eating, undistracted, is worth the money alone. You will leave feeling full in your tummy and light in spirit. Not good for kids, make it an adult trip.

J'ai adoré mon expérience avec mon conjoint, ma fille d'un an et ma mère. Pour la quantité de nourriture, le prix est raisonnable mais un petit verre de bienvenue aurait été apprécié. Étant donné la durée du service, nos fesses ont commencé à subir un peu les effets du banc en bois donc la prochaine fois j'apporterais peut-être un coussin pour m'asseoir.

Je souhaite que dans le futur, vous penserez a respecter un peu plus vos clients. 2 services oubliés et ont se fait pratiquement traiter de menteurs quand c'est sencé être a volonté. 2 bouteilles sur 2 de cidre qui n'avaient pas fini de fermentés, resultat plein la cuisine et dégoutantes. Je n'y retournerai plus jamais.

Very good 5 service menu. It was a very nice testing experience. The location is fantastic. You are in the woods. We were 6 in our group and we all enjoy our dinner. I recommend.

Went here for a friend's wedding. Had the best time ever. This is a very quaint restaurant with delicious wine. They did a marvelous job on a four-course meal. Every member of the wedding party went on and on about the food. It is absolutely the most amazing food you will ever taste!

Not what I was expecting. Last time it was more of a glutenous over the top sugar shack experience which I loved, but this time it was more seasonal and a renewing menu. Still delicious but wanted something more authentique to the québécois sugar shack experience.

The "April sour" had the taste of chicha morada made with bad tap water. Now add to that potion three drops of alcohol, ice, and some egg white foam. You get beyond underwhelming drink for "only" 12$. Avoid. The food was decent, although it is not a traditional "Cabane a sucre" food. The grilled endive dish, sausage served with quail, and beignets were brilliant.

Had high hopes, but they were dashed even before we got in. It was a rainy day and a bunch of cars got stuck in the mud, including mine. Ended up parking on the side of the road and we all had to wade through the mud. A bunch of drunk people were blocking the entrance to the resto so we had to wait outside in the rain. Once inside the staff seemed pretty organized at getting people to their seats. We were the last round of the night and service was completely inconsistent. The tables are long tables that sit 4 on each side with bench seating. Unfortunately we were 5 so ended as 9 at the table so it was a tight squeeze on one end. Staff was friendly at the outset, but once they realised that only 2 people were drinking at our table, they seemed less and less enthusiastic thereafter. Often they would take away the dishes before we had finished and seemed irritated when we told them that we weren't done. The food itself was underwhelming. The soup with a meatball was a great start and the food was good for the most part, though one of the porc dishes was badly overcooked. There are a lot of particular items on the menu and it's menu fixe, so no altérations or substitutions, so if you have picky eaters, as we did at our table, they might go home hungry. Otherwise there is just enough to be satisfied without being too full, at least for me. You are never overloaded with one taste. The consensus was that the desert, overall, was the best part of the meal (and probably the closest to 'traditional' cabane food. If you are looking for a traditional Cabane à sucre, this is not for you. If you are looking for something a bit different or a unique experience, this might be for you. Overall I'm happy that I tried it, but I would not go back.

La nourriture excellente mais musique trop forte et propreté des mains des serveuses laisse à désirer. Elles avaient les mains et ongles très noires? Nous étions assis dans la cuisine, chaleur extrême.

This is a great place, I highly recommend it. I recommend arriving early to get a cocktail and sit out on the patio to commune with nature. The dinning room is intimate and you feel like you're amount family. The wait staff is superb. Francois was a great waiter and the Cabane is luck to have him amoung others. The food was very fresh and sourced from what be is seasonally avaliable. The menu changes frequently but there wasn't a dish that went wrong. Save room for desert, like their sister restaurants it is well worth it.

Last year, after an incredible meal of foie gras pea soup, egg souffle, tourtière, cretons, ham and sugar pie - We were told by the staff that this was the mission of the cabane d'a cote - a return to tradition. Elevated, but traditional.

Unfortunately, instead of tradition we were served scallop ceviche in a gin vinaigrette, stuffed celeriac, duck tartar, a pickled endive salad, quail in pickled vegetables and baba au gin - Right. I guess they forgot the expansions purpose.

So if you're going on what Lesley wrote in the gazette, or what a friend told you from last years excellent meal - CANCEL. This is not the same restaurant, it is NOT a sugar shack.

Two stars. The Maple toast, sarazin pancakes and donuts were good.

Ambiance de cabane à sucre parfaite, menu des sucres réinventé mais pas dénaturé. Très forte recommandation pour passer un bon moment. Merci à Vincent et toute son équipe.

Très bel après-midi passé à la Cabane d’à côté. Le chef et sa brigade sont de vrai passionné et cela se reflète dans les plats. Le menu est adapté selon la température et tout était délicieux. C’est une expérience à vivre absolument.

Excellente cabane à sucre du terroir. Tout est bon. Ne mangez pas trop avant de passer! Ils offrent des tablées à plus de dix services.

À chaque fois, on arrive heureux d’être contents.puis on quitte comblées d’être sur le bord d’exploser.
C’est non seulement un plaisir.orgie gustative, c’est surtout une ambiance propice pour se souvenir combien on s’aime et prendre vraiment le temps de manger et partager.

Très bonne bouffe! Personnel dévoué, patient et donne de très bon conseils d'accords alcohols/mets. Le proprio est à l'écoute des besoins de la clientèle et discute même avec vous directement à la table. Onéreux mais ça en vaut la peine, la qualité de la bouffe accote le prix. Belle ambiance chaleureuse, très intime avec seulement quelques tables. Pour une expérience gastronomique de choix, je recommande fortement cet endroit!

C'est sur que c, est un peu cher, mais j, ai rarement eu un aussi bon service, et nourriture incroyable! De beaux souvenirs

Absolutely amazing food - maybe the best meal I've ever had and totally reasonable price for the outrageously good quality (and quantity) of food you get. Much of the food and drink you'll have here is farm to table, and the rest is local. The food is based on traditional Quebecois cuisine but done on an elevated level. The service was excellent, atmosphere was great and the even the company was great too. I really have nothing negative to say - go eat here at least once in your life!
