Cachitos

The Ham and Cheese was really good but I could mainly only taste the cheese as there is only a thin slice of ham inside. The cheese cachito is good. I love the coconut smoothie

It's nothing special, similar to pigs (or other toppings) in a blanket. Price is pretty expensive for what it is, and they ran out of stock for what I wanted (I came midday), but it was very convenient.

Cuisine vénézuélienne! Endroit chaleureux, au plein centre ville proche station de métro Saint Laurent et Place-des-Arts. Ce lieu est génial, les cachitos sont mes préférés.

Beau, bon, relativement pas cher pour la zone.

Je préfère largement prendre un cachito que d'aller acheter un hot dog ou une pointe de pizza.

Bien meilleur pour la santé que le hot dog, une brioche avec différentes garnitures (fromage, jambon fromage, viande, épinard fromage, etc.) qui permet de continuer sa journée de travail, légèrement! ;-)

Good for a quick bite. It's a bit expensive, but at least they don't ask for tips at the counter like some other places I could name.

Nothing fancy. It was ok. Basically a croissant with a bit of toppings inside.

I also feel like the ingredients inside could be a little extra because i barely saw any beef or ham.

Amazing coffee but cachitos were just okay. Nothing extraordinary, also Lady behind the counter was very rude and texting during our all entire visit. I wouldn’t recommend.

Delicious, I had never heard of it but I will be craving them all the time now. Perfect food to eat while you walk, and the bread has a nice sweetness similar to a soft pretzel.

The best Venezuelan food I’ve had in Canada! Had to stop here for lunch when visiting Montreal from Edmonton and it did not disappoint! Comida mundial!

Their cachitos are incredible. I'm glad that a small traditional Venezuelan place exists in the heart of Montreal. Really a good snack on the go. I always had good experiences every time I went there.

Just go buy as many as you can to store in the freezer and enjoy whenever you want. These are a must: ham & cheese, chorizo & cheese and the guava & cheese!

The Best/ultimate satisfaction Cochitos in Canada! A great household recipe that comes out fluffy, soft bread (made from corn starch) called cochitosssss! Can be made with different toppings.

Cute place. Rien d’extraordinaire au goût mais ça fait un bon snack!
J’ai aussi pris un café et il était très bon. La dame a prit son temps pour faire la mousse du cappuccino, ça se voyait qu’elle voulait faire les choses bien. Très satisfaite du service.

I am Venezuelan and this cachitos take me back to my home country. Delicious, super soft and flavourful. I’ve waited to whole trip to Montreal just to visit this place. Definitely the best cachitos that I have tried in CANADA.

Guys you should try the cachots there kind like croissants but traditionally Venezuelan made with love, if you need to offer your Christmas ham bread or Christmas ajakas you must do it on them website ASAP.
They have small pastry and all kind of cachots my favourite is guava and cheese.
Of course they have ham and cheese, sausage, only cheese or only ham etc…, jump grap a bite there believe me you (TRY IT ONCE & YOU WILL NEVER FORGET THE FLAVOUR FOR A MONTH)

I had time for breakfast before checking out and looked up some highly rated places around me. That's how I found Cachito's. From biology researcher to graphic designer to baker and entrepreneur, the founder has had an incredible journey, almost as incredible as the product she has developed. These wholesome buns were absolutely stunning. I had two - the beef cheddar and the guava cheese. Both were very, very good. I'd recommend the former for savoury lovers and the latter for some sweet, but what the hell do I know? This place is a real gem. If you go, have a chat with the people running it and you'll leave with a smile that the cachitos will keep on your face for longer.

Wasn’t expecting the bread to be warm when I received it.

I asked the lady that I would like to order the most popular one. Unfortunately the day I visited, salmon bread was sold out! I got the beef one. Definitely coming back to get some more, I am working around the area!

An absolutely wonderful little window food shop. I had the Bonbon (Espresso with Sweetened Condensed Milk) and the Jam and Cheese. Service was amazing and only bettered by the quality of the food. A gem in a very touristic and overrated region of Montreal. I will come back every time I’m in the place des arts.

Sugar cane lemonade =amazing

It may not seem like much but it's warm, cheesy, savoury goodness. If you like coconut get the coconut smoothie. The lemonade with sugar cane is also amazing.

The best place to eat in Montreal. Great service and food. And most of all is adorable. The cachito's are amazing and helps you feel full for a good amount of time, and Hallacas gaste great. I highly recommend this place

The cachitos are amazing. I love all the choices they have. However, ham and cheese is my favourite because it reminds me of my childhood. The Christmas ham-bread is super good, even the day after. The service is excellent! The place is a little bit small, but you can always take it out.

Honestly it was not as great as it originally appeared. It was not terrible but the food wasn’t good enough to make me go there again. It was extremely small and uncomfortable as well. I also found the people working there to be quite dismissive and rude. I really didn’t appreciate it. The workers also spoke their language to each other while I was trying to order and it made me feel uncomfortable, like you don’t know if they’re talking about you. So overall it needs some work! Currently there are better places to get your sweet tooth fix at a very close proximity!

I didn’t know what a cachito was, but now that I do, I’m a fan. Really tasty, a warm place on a cold day with very friendly staff. Just look at the desserts, and tasty as they look. The quesillo was great. It’s got a little bar on the wall so you can eat in, but it looks designed for takeaway.

I love Venezuelan food. Pan de Jamon (Bread with Jam) a very traditional Christmas dish in Venezuela is very good here. I have bought Pan de Jamon in here for a few years now and have never been disappointed. Here you can also find Cachitos another Venezuelan delicatesse which are also very good. The location is very accessible, since is close to St-Laurent metro station in downtown Montreal. I totally recommend this place for adventures who like to try new things and want to know other countries cuisine.

C'est une petite boulangerie au coin Saint-Laurent et Sainte-Catherine, à côté de la Place-des-Arts. Les cachitos sont un mets d'origine vénézuélienne. Ce sont de petits pains farcis à saveurs autant salées que sucrées. Il y en a à la viande (boeuf, jambon, chorizo) et des végétariens (chocolat, épinards, guava). Plusieurs contiennent aussi du fromage. Ils sont servis chauds. Il y a la possibilité de les manger avec des sauces. Dans les deux cas, c'est un pur délice.

High quality cachitos (stuffed Venezuelan bread)
I had the cocada (tropical coconut milk shake), Ham cachito and the guava and cheese cachito. They bake them in small batches and everything is always fresh. The owners are super friendly and passionate about their business. I was planing to visit them from Toronto and It was totally worth it. I am going to be back every time I go back to Montreal.

Excellent Venezuelan food on the go! I'll come back to get more guava & cheese cachitos. Me encanto!
