We asked to have two large maps framed and we couldn't be happier with the work. The process and options were clearly explained and the results are truly beautiful.

I never leave reviews but this place is special. In an era of mass production it's nice to work with craftspeople who care. A handmade frame is a beautiful thing.

I recently brought a 600-year-old manuscript in to Cadres Superieurs because a friend had recommended them and I wanted a custom framing that would allow me to view both sides of the page and a place which would take very good care of the document.

I was not disappointed. Quality of service was excellent, the gentleman who helped me had great ideas around frame, materials, and matte, and the end result (see pics) I’m very happy with. Good stuff all around.

Excellent framer! My father is an artist and brought me a painting during his latest visit. Not only did the folks here pick the perfect frame first time, they even managed to frame it overnight for us so my dad was able to see the finished product before he had to return home to the UK! Can't recommend enough!

Excellent frame store! Very professional in advising and workmanship! The owner made an expensive workmanship mistake but absorbed the additional costs even after we offered to pay more than the costs originally offered. Recommend highly!

I love the framing I had done for this gorgeous antique silk embroidered panel. It was a larger scale so I wanted to have it done right as I didn’t want the frame to overpower the panel and my expectations were once again met with this beauty. I love the quality and style of my frames. The guys were super friendly and took all the time to guide me with the type of frames and mats that I was looking for, for my degrees. Il y a 18 ans, un miroir de fortune, provenant d’un de ces magasins bon marché, était suspendu à une portion de mur, entre les deux portes de vestiaire, de la chambre à coucher de l’appartement que je venais tout juste d’occuper. Comme première démarche, visant à en faire le symbole qui marquera le début de mon existence dans ces murs, pour la postérité, je me suis investi à offrir à ce miroir un cadre qui allait convenir à la métamorphose envisagée pour ma nouvelle adresse…que j’occupe depuis maintenant 20 ans. Or, à quelques pas de chez moi, c’est chez CADRES SUPÉRIEURS que je remis ce miroir pour son ‘’relooking’’ qui, ma foi, s’avéra une réussite. Il y a trois semaines, en le nettoyant, je constate que les joints de coin, au bas du cadre, se sont relâchés. Craignant que la pièce miroir ne tombe et ne se brise, j’ai laissé la réparation du cadre aux bons soins de l’équipe en place chez CADRES SUPÉRIEURS; je n’aurais jamais su si bien faire! Non seulement l’ont-ils réparé, mais sans frais…après 18 ans! J’étais estomaqué et le suis encore! Les maisons qui se portent garantes de leurs produits, à ce point, font désormais l’objet de pièces de musées. Manifestement, par la seule expérience que j’ai vécue, la réputation de CADRES SUPÉRIEURS se passe de superlatifs. S’il venait à l’idée de quelqu’un de faire encadrer ce commentaire, je le/la conjure de s’en remettre aux ‘’artisans’’ de CADRES SUPÉRIEURS.

Simply put: Cadres Supérieurs is the best.

The owner is very friendly. They did custom frame for a blanket it they're quality of work is excellent. They even went as far as combing out the tassels along the edge of the blanket/frame.

The service didn't stop there: The vehicle I brought was slightly too small for the frame (it was ~ 5' x 6'), the owner and one of his employees went as far bringing the frame to my car and helping me fit in the trunk safely.

I really loved the work that they did with my watercolors. I gave them 16 watercolors to frame for my show. They were perfectly on time, and gave me a very good price considering the excellent work they did. They are also very nice people, and have a piano in the store that you can play while you wait:)

Peace, Love and Framing. Sometimes it's just the tilt of perspective that lets you see anew. These folks did just this and more. At a time of sorely missing Lebanon, they provided great care to the framing of prints from there and transported me "home. " Total generosity of time and energy and helped with a custom job and sweet expertise.and most importantly good giggles throughout.

I first came to your shop about a year and a half ago for some information. I remember you being very dismissive at the time but thought everyone can have the occasional bad day. This time I came in a few weeks ago with very precise measurement and a good explanation of what I needed however you pointed me to frames that had nothing to do with what I described. When I tried to explain again you were dismissive and haughty again. I live in mile-end and I’m all for supporting local businesses. This is the first one star I ever gave. I understand you do not need it but I’m sorry to say you absolutely deserve it.

Cadres Supérieurs did a fantastic job! The man who helped me was kind and suggested that these pictures would benefit from looking like they are floating, and here is the beautiful result. He worked painstakingly on framing these and took extra care sanding each of the pictures to make sure that none stuck out in a displeasing way. I have been going to Cadres Superieures since 2006. The folks have an eye for l'objet d'art - whether it be a simple diploma, old oil painting or something new - and they frame with passion and skill according to your wishes and budget.

I had a great experience at Cadres Supérieurs. I took in an original print; it was my first time framing something. The owner of the shop patiently took over 30 minutes with me and guided me through the process of choosing a frame and glass, providing me with dozens of different options. It did take a while for the framing to be done, but in the end it is absolutely stunning. I would highly reccommend this local business. Also to add that the owner is fluently bilingual.

Sir, if you call us rude and yourself polite, you seriously need to double check your dictionary. As you see in other people's comments, I'm not the first one having problem with your attitude.

I tried to support your local business but it seemed like you didn't need a new customer. All I asked was to get a price on my favorite frame and the type of glass that I knew I wanted. But you kept ignoring us as if you don't even see us in your store. We tried to give you time to explain yourself, but nothing but rudeness came out of your behavior.

I'm very happy that I didn't bring my artwork with me. I really didn't want you to touch them as I didn't feel you'd be able to handle them properly.

I had a wonderful experience with Cadres Supérieurs. They were so accommodating to my budget, timeline and style. The four custom frames they made for me were perfect for my prints and also manufactured with removable foam backing so I can switch out the picture at some future date. I was able to receive the frames in under a week and the quality surpassed my exceptions. This was by far the best experience I’ve had with framing, not just in Montreal, but anywhere. I cannot recommend their services highly enough.
