Cafe Aylmer

Honest Opinion: A great neighbourhood greasy spoon, but with such incredibly ludicrous prices that I will never return after my first visit. Even in 2023, the prices are so beyond ridiculous that I couldn't enjoy the fairly decent food. How can they justify an $8.79 side of potatoes when a single potato costs 50 cents? !? A large poutine for $13.49? !? A single egg breakfast for $14.99? !? These are luxury hotel prices, even in these high inflation days. We will never return.

Hier, j’y suis passé pour un petit déjeuner. L’ambiance est excellente, la nourriture est bonne, la salle est conviviale. J’y reviendrai!

23 $ for two eggs and bacon and they charge 1$ extra for ognion in the potato

Wonderful ambience, this could be a CHEERS hangout, minus the bar for eating. Cozy and what a big plate! Homemade potatoes and the western sandwich was delicious. Thank you a la prochaine

Family ran restaurant with that unmistakable home cooked meals. Taste, consistency and value for your money. Leaps and bounds in service. You truly feel like you're part of the family.

J’ai été chercher une poutine smokedmeat de grosseur moyenne ce midi. Elle est bonne. Par contre 14,95 avec les taxe est selon moi exagérer ainsi que la première serveuse qui ne semblais pas être capable de parler français et comprenais à moitié le français elle semble avoir compris juste à cause du mot Poutine… par chance elle étais bonne la poutine.

Breakfast good. Service good. Price very expensive for that kind of restaurant. We were a group of 20 and all appreciated there meals but very desapointed about the price. Old menu not reflecting the current price. Another big surprise when they received the bill. Don't think our group will go back. Wish they will keep in mind that comment and adjust.

First time in a couple of years. They weren't prepared for how busy it could be on Mother's day. Waited over 20 minutes and had to flag down waitress to get her attention. Was told it would take 20 minutes for food to be ready, we left.

Never been disappointed. Kind staff and great food:) never been disappointed and enjoyed everything till the last bite.

Always have a great time here. Service is great and so is the food. Avoid 10am -noon if you're really hungry otherwise there could be a wait. Probably best breakfast in Aylmer.

Have tried all the breakfast restaurants in aylmer and Cafe Aylmer is my go to breakfast place! Best place in town! The food is always fresh and good. Never disappoints

5 STAR AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE! Cannot recommend this place enough, from the potatoes to the eggs, to the bacon and toast, everything is just 10/10. If you want to EAT GOOD, then this is the place for YOU!

I love Cafe Aylmer. Best spinach omelets, and delicious blueberry pancakes.friendly service.you gotta love Christina and her Mom and new waitress Christine.

I have lived in Aylmer for years and didn't realize this restaurant was here. I know now, and will be back. Breakfast was amazing.
I find there are few options in Aylmer for a regular bacon and eggs breakfast. Cafe Aylmer should be top of your list.

I had their smoked meat was pretty good Id say and very big ill def be trying something else there

Not the best breakfast restaurant I've been to, however, the service was good, the prices were cheap, and the portion sizes were fairly big!

We decided to order from here just to try something different. The food arrived promptly, the delivery guy was very nice; Louis. The food tasted delicious!
