Cafe Hyderabad

Ordered 2 biryanis. Barely any masala inside.it’s the only restaurant where they ask you to ask them to put Masala inside a biryani. Even after telling them, they still don’t do it.
The owner Karthik is verbally abusive and has zero respect for the customer.

Once I even ordered a chicken 65 biryani which is supposed to be boneless and there wore multiple bone pieces inside it.ridiculous

I was not a mandi lover but the one which I had from your Cafe Hyderabad made me a huge fan of Chicken Fried Mandi. No Mandi can beat the taste of Cafe Hyderabad. Chicken Fried Mandi tastes heavenly. It was very tasty, rice were well flavored, topped with cashews, almonds, fresh raisans and the chicken was well cooked and so tender it was filled with rich spieces a truly a divine experience. It was my son's 5th birthday party. The portions are generous, and we ate till we were full. Everyone, including children, enjoyed and appreciated your food.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to a must go in Montreal if you are a food lover. I will definitely be back with my friends and family.

Amazing food and great taste. Front end counter staff is a very professional and kind. Service is also good. We visit here on regular basis and noticed the quality of food & staff service is really good as well as consistent.

The tandoori chicken sizzler tasted really good. Well cooked with good taste of masala. However the quality of biryani is not that good. The rice tasted very weird and dry. Only recommend the tandoori sizzler here.

I have ordered chicken 65 biryani and mutton gee roast it’s was delicious. I recommend this place if you like biryani.

I have been regular customer and have tasted most of the items they have it on their menu. Initially when the restaurant was launched they maintained the quality and quantity very well. Now that after gaining trust, they have degraded the quality of food thinking customers would return (this is big no no guys when you're into restaurant business, never do that).

Chicken Biryani - 2/10 - the taste keeps fluctating, sometimes good, sometimes worst, guess head chef is not same all the days!
Mutton Biryani - 4/10
raita with biryani 1/10 - you guys put onions in that, by evening they rot during summer
Kulchas (any) - 8/10
Mutton Curry - 6/10
Manchuria - 5/10 - taste is good but less of gobi/meat and more of corn flour dough.
Fried Rice - 7/10
Kothu Paratha - 5/10
Pakoras - 5/10 - sometimes too oily, sometimes good.

Worst of all it that, the rice is base for all biryanis. Dum biryani is supposed to be cooked slow along with the respective meat to get that flavour into rice.

Never recommend this place to anybody. The chicken 65 biryani smells very very badly after bringing it to home within an hour. The rice is STINKY and not freshly served. The restaurant management sucks in providing good customer service. Especially on a Friday night very disappointed. Never buy food from this place and spoil your health. Thanks

**NEVER ORDER ANYTHING HERE**
Today the food we eat was yesterdays. Many items are shown on the menu but nothing was available even at 1pm. Even for the items I ordered they kept me wait for more than an hour. The girl at the counter was very rude, not only with me but with everyone she was the same for the whole time.

Pretty recently, we took out a huge dinner from here. Chicken 65 biryani, Veg Biryani, and Biryani. Everything tasted foul, felt stale chicken. Wouldn’t recommend any non veg items. This is my second instance and my first was I shared with my friend as he placed an order over Uber and it tasted the same way. We had to throw the food on both instances since it’s not worthy punishing yourself with this kind of stale chicken, breakfast items are good, Mango lassi is a Bonker- tastes too good.

****Worst Indian restaurant **** pls stay away from this place. Food is not fresh and it takes so long to get an order. Staff is extremely rude. When asked why the order is taking so long, girl on the counter replied saying if you have patience you can wait or else you can go. Entire restaurant was extremely dirty. I had to remove the table cloth because it was full of food stains and it was smelling bad. I come from a place called HYDERABAD and I felt offended.

Never recommend this place at all. I think the owners should eat their own food once and see. We ordered a chicken majestic dish which is an appetizer and they sent like a curried chicken with gravy and the chicken is tooo hard and I am 100% sure its frozen and not fresh at all. When I called the restaurant to ask and give feedback they seemed very less interested in taking my feedback. We also ordered chicken biryani’s along with this and those are to a next level. Food dint at all seemed fresh. The taste is worst. I am never going to recommend this place to anyone and I would just say one thing about Appetizers *Order at your own Risk * as the restaurant dosent seem to care about the customer feedback.

Its my personal request for all willing to buy food from this restaurant each and every single individual person not to buy food from this restaurant.

I tried many around 40 restaurants in montreal these people serve the best unhygienic food and which causes you a health issues because of the spices they are using.

I ordered chicken 65 biryani and chicken fried rice (which they served me with vegetables in chicken fried rice) and I requested them to make it medium spicy but they made it super super super spicy which can’t have it at all. I will eat spicy like super hard and i am writing this review so just imagine.

The staff are not even responsible and staff are super dumb I should say dumb because they are so rude and I tried twice in this restaurant whenever you ask for something they say it’s fresh but it’s not they are just selling unhygienic food, It’s an Indian restaurant I am an Indian too, if the food is not good Atleast the services must be good, the lady at the front desk is super hard on customers,

It’s a wired thing I observed here if ask chicken 65 Biriyani name is totally different from biryani they will provide you with gravy curry on biryani, Usually as per my knowledge we put red chilli powder in biryani these people put dry red chilies in biryani‍️‍️ Swami

It’s just a waste of money and you will get a health issues as bonus. I would like to file a complaint regarding this restaurant. I would like to let everyone before going here just give a thought. If I have a chance to give zero I would definitely go for it. This is the worst worst worst place ever I seen.

I ordered chicken 65, it was getting very bad bad bad smell. Oh my god. I ate half peace it is raw chicken smell and tasteless. Every time it’s a different taste, today it’s tooo much worst. My Friday night was spoiled …. Totallly upset with this smelly chicken 65 … Yack,

Food is amazing. I have tried almost everything at this place everything is delicious. Must try appetisers. Great customer service always satisfied.

Everytime the chicken 65 biriyani tastes different. Never try their chicken majestic, last time we ordered and it was sour and the chicken was smelly.

I always loved the food from café Hyderabad, But nowadays I've started to rethink.

Tried the Tandoori Chicken Wrap and it was delicious. The chicken was juicy, naan was fresh and the sauce was delicious. It was pretty messy to eat due to the sauce but it was absolutely worth it.

The service is not friendly at all and the food is not fresh and it’s incredibly spicy to the point it’s not edible. A true waist of money.

Many better choices out there - food was lacking in flavour, place is kinda dirty and the staff are rude.
