Café La Maison Smith St-Jean

The pastries were very delicious. But we were disappointed by the cappuccino. It tasted watery. I would definitely go there again to get croissants but would pick up my coffee somewhere else.

Snide staff. May 19th 11am asked if the smoothies were vegan and server rudely and sarcastically whispered to her colleague behind my back “yeah we put bacon in it” as she rolled her eyes

Nice place and nice area, but I and just a cup of coffee there and my friend had a green tea which it was nice also, I like the location.

Really good chocolate almond croissant and lattes! It's pricey but what in Quebec City isn't? Good for a quick bite if you want to get to exploring.

Such a great place to have breakfast! The chocolate almond crossiant and the cafe latte is highly recommended. Service is excellent too and price is reasonable.

Endroit très chaleureux qui fait bien de bien, les breuvages était très bon et les jeunes femmes aussi! Pour ma part le chocolat chaud est excellent, petit bémol sur la chocolatine aux amandes qui étaient toute vide (je suis boulanger donc je connais) mais normalement on ne met pas cela en vente surtout à 6$! C’est dommage mais pour autant il était très bon!

Je suis maintenant à café smith avec ma mère au vieux quebec, je suis vraiment satisfaite par tout le service, côté café c la plus bonne café chaude que j'ai goûter, côté dessert parfaitement délicieuse, une belle ambiance, tout est parfait.

Great place for a quick breakfast. Opens at 7 am. Had 7 types of milk for lattes. Amazing pastries. Welcoming service.

J'adore l'ambiance unique mais dans l'esprit de chaque café Maison Smith. Cette fois j'ai testé le chocolat chaud, je vais certainement l'essayer encore et encore.

Testé et approuvé le jour du départ! Faut voyager le ventre plein et avec ce froid on apprécie une tasse de café bien chaud. On recommande à Québec quand il neige dehors. Hâte de revenir vous voir.

Wonderful discovery on rue Saint Jean in Old Québec! No only did I love the coffee and pastry, I even got a bag of their dark coffee and custom labeled coffee mug as a pleasant souvenir. Merci à toute l'équipe!

While the date pastry was alright, the Blueberry Macaroon was an absolute delight that had our taste buds dancing with joy. The coffee was also top-notch, with a rich and delicious flavor that left us wanting more. Although our coffee lacked the promised artwork, the taste more than made up for it. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our visit all the more pleasant. With a self-serve setup, everything is easily accessible, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the charming atmosphere of this lovely cafe and bakery.

The best hot chocolate (seriously authentic dark cocoa chocolate) we EVER had. The cookie was SO yummy and rich. The place was busy but understandably so! The must visit in old quebec.

Great coffee. Flat whites were well made. The food was good too. Good place for a light meal.

Très bien, là les rénos ça promet! Je retire l’étoile pcq après 3 fois Aucune employée à la caisse n’a pas dit un simple merci même avec un pourboire à chaque visites.
