One of my favourite stops in Montreal whenever I can… I used to live and work nearby and would eat there once a week… now 1-2 times a year, since I live “up North” were I now own and operate my paintball and recreational park. My all time favourite is the sausage sandwich. This place is well worth the time to go to. Food is delicious and survive is super fast. Super happy customer for over 17-18 years.

Will never go there again. We walked in on a sunny day and noticed all the staff had their mask down their chin. We left without ordering. I will never give business to the businesses who do not comply with the mask mandate. I don't know what the City of Montreal doesn't inspect business and fine those businesses who do not comply.

Mediocre sandwiches. We paid cash and the man who took the order did not gave us the receipt. We will not return.

The sandwiches are fresh and have a unique taste which will make you come back for more. Reasonably priced and good services. Give them a try, you won't regret

Love coming to this place! Ive been coming here for years.always great customer service and everyone is so kind and helpful. Also they have the best paninis. Highly recommend!

Aww Milano, je le porte dans mon coeur. J'adore cette place, les paninis sont délicieux, tu ne peux pas te tromper. De plus, tous les employés sont super gentils et accueillant.

The place is very good.also a meeting place for the young generation to have a bite or drink among friends.

I Ordered Uber. They have the driver the wrong order, then the driver had to drive back once he arrived at my house to go back and get the right order. Then by the time he got back with the new order the sandwich was wet and soggy and cold. Paid 30$ for 2 wet soggy sandwiches and 1 drink. This is a joke of a place to make a ridiculous mistake like this causing terrible food quality. Uber didn’t offer me a refund for this, unacceptable place. If I was you go and get your food, because they obviously can’t read a name on a paper. They didn’t change my sandwich they just gave it and it was probably just sitting on the counter. I have been here a few times and everything was great. But this experience will probably never make me want to come back.

Staff is very friendly. The food is amazing! I had the beyond meat sandwich! JUST WOW! The café latte is To die for. I Will be back when I am in Town!

You can't beat their delicious sandwiches and coffee. The place is the haunt of a bunch of regulars but the staff's friendlly greetings makes newcomers welcome. I love it even more that they expanded and improved their terrasse.

Haut lieu social de Saint-Léonard. Authentique, bordélique, animé! Grande terrasse avec ses habitués (ça parle français, anglais, italien). Décor intérieur quelconque. Service expéditif. Cannoli à se damner, tellement il est bon! Une institution sans prétention.

Schartz est un classique, Joe Beef est un classique, Orange Julep est un classique. Cafe Milano est définitivement un autre immortel de Montréal.

You never feel comfortable there especially if you go at night after 21h 22h.
A more expensive version of Subway.

I like this lively, active, welcoming, family café however if I am hungry for a sandwich, vegan, végétarien, gluten free I canot be served! « Kamut bread would be so great instead of white denatured, dead flour. In Italy they use «  Kamut »

Salads: your vegetarian salads are boring Bocconcini.that is all

Some people could do a research on gluten free flours! It is not as healthy as you may think.: potato, tapioca, GMO (genetically modified corn.)

If you could have Kamut (khorasan wheat) bread! That would be great! In italy they use Kamut flour for pizza, bread.it is a great unmodified ancient wheat, healthier! ️

The Mecca of coffee and sandwich in Montreal. I have savoured the foods and the cafe’s culture for close to 30 years.chapeau to all the family and team for their efforts and accomplishments.

NO WI-FI at Cafe Milano. They haven’t caught to the world today - business people who travel need this to do their work in today’s world. Mocha was served in a small glass - a bit disappointing for its price and average quality. The place has changed allot since the last 10 years. Too many pretentious and way too many "bro" uneducated type of people go there! Next.

Best Cafè au lait i have had! Coffee was so smooth i loved it! Sandwiches tasted great especially the Milano Special sub. Friendly staff! Thankful there is one in Laval now:)

The guy with the big moustache is creepy he just stares at women, like stop being so obvious and just do your job. So rude

Absolutely recommended. This spot is amazing got a late night snack especially after a night bar hoping. The steak sandwich is a must and the house salad is huge! A meal for two!

Je suis aucunement italien et encore moins de St-Léonard mais ce café est mon resto préféré dans l'Est de Montréal. Simple, cachet unique et un excellent café. C'est simple: Salade ou Sandwich. Je prend la salade de veau depuis maintenant 10 ans.j'ai hâte à chaque fois!

Been going there for years. Coffee and food always on point. Best spot in east Montreal. No WiFi, but who needs it when the coffee is excellent?

Delicious sandwiches! All the ingredients and fresh and tasty, feels like home prepped and not fast food.

The place is alright. I ordered the Milano special, basically a submarine with streak and vegetables sautéed- it was OK but something was missing. Maybe cheeses and Mayonnaise lol. I think all orders come with a little side dessert #cannoli. I would go back cause people are friendly but with hotsauce in my purse cause I like spicy.

Real Italians, real esspreso! The place is an institute! Great spot to enjoy an authentic cappuccino, latte, espresso, and multiple types of panini, while relaxing in the enormous summer terraces. Great place to watch sports also. All in all, very cool & lively envirernmment. Benvenuti!

I have been going there for more than 15 years. This is one of the best places in Montreal. The food is always perfect and fresh. You can enjoy a nice latte on the terrace. It is just beautiful.

Ordered a buffet spread for my father 's funeral and the family and all our guests were pleased with the quality and freshness of the food they were served. Cafe Milano was well known to everyone and the overall experience was excellent. Victor was very attentive and helpful in our menu selection along with his advice on what would work and he was right. The wait staff sent was attentive and accommodating. I absolutely recommend this caterer for any occasion.

This is a staple in Mtl. Their canollis are the best I had in a long time. Coffee masters.

Love their sandwiches, it’s a little expensive and another issue is that they don’t have any combos so if you want to buy like a sandwich with fries and a drink, they don’t have a reduced price if you take all of that so you have to buy them all separately which is why it’s a little expensive, that’s why it’s 4 stars for me. But overall, it’s a good place to eat, the service is good, the place is clean and it’s also open 24h which is great if i want to come eat here in the middle of the night.
