Café Olimpico - Centre-Ville

It was my "Go to" coffee when I visited Montréal: The cappuccino is amazing and the pistachio cornetti is a must as well!

The service is very nice and I've also bought home some coffee beans and a pannetone for the Holidays.

I'll come back to this place often in my next trip to Montréal I'm quite sure.

This place is cool. Cool in a rat pack kind of way rather than a face tattoo. It does great coffee without pretension, has a few good quality choices for breakfast and greets you like an old friend. It would be my go-to morning spot, softly lit, jazz playing and aiding you towards your day ahead.

Small, but dark and cosy interior, a bit hard to find so I recommend the store getting some more obvious signage. Otherwise the coffee is great, would come again.

Service is great here. Jonathan always makes an excellent cappuccino - the foam is super dense and served with care.

The desserts are next level delicious.

I highly recommend this cozy little establishment.

I’ve gone a few times now and really enjoyed everything I’ve gotten and to be clear I don’t drink coffee so this review is their desserts, sandwiches etc

Petit endroit avec des peu de places assises. Pas tant agréable pour prendre un café sur place car l'endroit est très restreint. Pas de crème pour le café, pas de sirop simple pour sucré le café, aucune viennoiseries un samedi matin. Rien. Juste 3 sortes de gâteaux aux fromage. Décevant à chaque fois que j'y vais. Lattée correct sans plus.
Seul point positif: le serveur était gentil.

Super delicious and well worth the price! It was only $19 for a cappuccino, tiramisu (recommend), pistachio donut, and cannoli.be aware that it’s a bit small, so do not expect abundant seating

The ambiances are great and the service is perfect with yummy coffee options. The only price a bit expensive for the drink quality. I will come again

Best coffee and cappuccino ever. It was perfect. I tried one of their pastries. Don’t know what it was but it was unbelievable. Sooo delicious.

I’ve went to another location and it was great there but the barista I had made my latte all foam and tasted burnt.

I think the best coffee in the town u can drink there and sometimes i can not control myself not to buy yummy croissant au Nutella but I should confess it’s too difficult, the staff are so kind, friendly and most professional, Thank U both Jeci & Darko

The people here are very friendly! It gets busy especially around lunch time but they still manage to serve everyone in a friendly manner. The coffee is also perfect everytime I come.

UPDATE:
Management responded promptly and offered a resolution for the issue. Much better quality of pastries at the Vieux Montreal location, left a 5 star review there.

Ordered the pistachio doughnut and tiramisu near closing time. Tiramisu tasted good although a bit runny (was a warm day). However the pistachio doughnut tasted sour, like the cream had turned. The barista informed us it was delivered in the morning so had been sitting out for nearly 11 hours, but shouldn't a cafe not serve food that has gone bad? No recourse was offered.

Even though they don't have a lot of seats in the downtown location I have to say café olímpico is my favorite café in Montréal, their three locations are amazing, the coffee, the desserts, everything.
The quality of their coffe is great and the way the staff makes you feel welcome every time is so heartwarming.

First time this morning with a friend and it's probably one of the best coffees I've tasted in a long time! Staff super friendly and cozy spot.

This place has amazing coffee. One of the best in town.
A few sweet options for breakfast or snack. Limited savoury ones but would still recommend.

Delightful cafe! A but expensive, but great experience, great coffee and the staff somehow looks happy working there, which is something I can't say of any other coffee chain. They have a new coffee ice cream, like a ice cream made out of coffee, it's really freaking great. This is my favorite coffee place, can't recommend it enough.

Delicious coffee, friendly barrista, and a good overall vibe. Benches outside so you can get some air. There are a bunch of Italian sweets that looked great.

Nice place and very friendly service. Coffee is of high quality and there are vegan milk options (including oat milk). This is a place to grab coffee with friends - not so much a place to work/study from because it's rather small and gets busy (but there is free wifi). For grabbing a coffee with friends, this place is excellent.

Albeit being a cute coffee shop, I have loved this location in the past and still love all other locations, but I must say my most recent visit was quite disappointing. The baristas were rushing us to get in our orders, being rude and impatient. He didn't give us time to go over the menu, and pushed us to getting certain things. I felt flustered and overwhelmed, I ended up not even ordering what I would like.

I'm still a great fan of Olimpico, their desserts, sandwiches, and coffee are delicious! But I don't think I will be returning to this particular location, unfortunately.
