I’ve tried a bunch of coffee shops in Montreal and café olimpico in the mile end surpasses all of them. The ambiance, coffees and baristas exceed all expectations. Sam and Johnny, the dynamic duo, will make you the best coffee in Montreal and serve it to you with a smile.

Time and time again olimpico fails to disappoint.

Great service! It's basically a smaller version of a Cafe Milano. So if you like that, you'll like it here.

Good location and that’s it.

It’s very overrated. The coffee is no good and the desserts are most likely industrial. This carrot cake wasn't homemade, I swear.

But they charge premium price…

You have better options.

We went with friends to have coffee and desert. It's amazing. It was crowded because it's very popular and because of Halloween. It's hard to find a place to seat inside.

Always delicious coffee, a must in the Mile-end. Pastries were a bit dry. Excellent ambiance.

My favorite coffee shop all year round! During the summer time, Cafe Remix is a definitely a MUST!

If you go to Montreal and don’t go to Olimpico (a) you haven’t gone to Montreal, (b) if you love coffee, you haven’t lived.
A necessity to try either their cafe freddo or remix for one of the coolest/rarest coffee finds + some solid desserts (including the amazing nut and chocolate nougat bar pictured)

Delicious coffee, cool staff and they're open late so you can satisfy your late night coffee cravings.

Always a good coffee and good service. I also like the fact that they now sell nespresso pods with their own coffee that you can use at home.

Got an afogado and it was amazing! They do accept credit cards now. Saw many reviews saying it’s only cash but it’s not.

Tasty and reasonably priced cappuccino in a nice environment. A coffee here and a croissant from Hof Kelsten = perfect Saturday morning

Really don’t understand what the hype is about. Bad service and bad attitude from baristas… the latte tasted like an automatic machine cafe, I couldn’t even taste the espresso? Questionable cleanliness (counters are greasy and disgusting, you can see old milk on the milk frother etc…)

Great coffee shop! Had a cappuccino. Friendly staff. Nice architecture.ceiling is beautiful. Highly recommended!

I had the best latte i've ever had in my life today. The barista was called Justin I believe, he was blonde and he was super friendly, welcoming and made me want to come again. I just moved to Montreal and I think Olimpico will be my go-to from now on.

Les espressos sont très bons, mais le service est très médiocre. Il y a avait une longue file d’attente à l’heure où j’y suis allé, mais les employés ne semblaient pas s’en soucier, continuant de s’amuser entre eux. De plus, j’ai vu les employés réchauffer du lait à plusieurs reprises, ce qui est un peu décevant pour le prix des cafés.

Parmi les seuls cafés à Montréal à avoir compris l'esprit du café à l'italienne. Avec la covid c'est moins évident mais c'est avant tout un endroit où toutes les générations se retrouvent pour déguster un café à la pression (et pas les 12bars des nespresso.) des vrais baristas. Parmis les meilleurs affogato que j'ai bu en dehors de l'Italie. Un vrai coup de cœur!?

The cannolis here are to die for. Great cappuccinos as well. I spent an hour reading on the patio outside the cafe.

Well worth the stop by. Very friendly staff members. The decorations is astonishing and the coffee is amazing. What else we could ask for!

The atmosphere is amazing and they paid attention to all the details so results speak.

Cozy little italian cafe. Perfect for a little catching up date or even to watch a soccer game! Their café crema is simply divine. It will hit the right spot on the warm summer days with it's perfect balance of espresso taste and creamy texture that doesn't melt. You won't regret it.

After our meal, we walked down the street and saw this little buzzing coffee shop. The terrace was full and the inside too. Out of curiosity we went inside and tried their double espresso and tiramisu. We loved it. Their espresso was strong and I really liked its flavor. As for the tiramisu, I find it a bit expensive but it's worth it! The mascarpone is so soft and silky while the lady fingers are perfectly soaked in their coffee with some liquor. It's also a big portion, so it may be a little much for one person.

Even though it's a very busy café, the attention was very good and their products are tasty. The cafe olímpico location in Mile End, has a lovely terrace and you can chill there with your coffee and watch some TV. Really liked the place.

Great service. The vibes are laid back and cozy. Perfect for a late night coffee no rush or feeling rushed here. My favorite

Cheesecake with apple and caramel was delicious and not too pricey. We didnt stay but the place was cozy and popular.

Sublime coffee, no matter what you order. Always good, perfectly roasted and delicious. And good news, they now serve almond milk! (which is really great for me since by body doesn't tolerate cow milk at all anymore or for the vegans customers, check it out!)

Excellent coffee at this place. A glass of café fredo on a hot summer afternoon is unbeatable. If you love soccer, you may find here a place to watch a game.

Lovely on the outside and inside. Good array of seating options. Had a hipster vibe but there was a wide range in the type of clientele (aka welcoming atmosphere here). Tasty latte with fast service.

Je l'ai découvert par hasard. Le cadre est vraiment sympa, autant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Beau choix de boissons et patisseries. Accueil sympathique malgré la longue queue.

Very cool atmosphere and very tasty, unique coffee. The place is pretty much what you'd picture as a coffee *bar*, emphasis on the bar. There are sports playing on a giant projector, as well as a couple of screens playing different games.

J'adore! Service sympathique. Café incroyable, mais c'est seulement cash. Sinon sur l'heure de pointe c'est difficile de se trouver une place assise. Est-ce que j'ai mentionné que leur café est juste TROP BON? Je pars souvent de Dollard-des-ormeaux seulement aller prendre en prendre un!

The BEST Cafe.everything is incredible (coffee, cakes, staff). You absolutely need to stop by if you are in the area or make sure you stop by even if you aren't in the area.
Even a 5 star rating doesn't give it the credit it deserves!

I am a huge fan of coffee and this place made me love coffee even more. Try the iced coffee, the taste is unbelievably amazing and sitting outside on the benches during the summer is cute.

Once upon a time, was the place to be, alas, third wave has vastly outperformed the classic Italian. Great spot for sporting events, but better food and coffee are easy to find.

A unique and charming cafe. Coffee is top notch. For a fantastic pairing, try the tiramisu. Then try to leave without ordering a second. Sooo good.

Order was wrong, barista was not welcoming, table and floor were dirty, washrooms smelled bad, only cash accepted.coffee was ok but overall it was not what you expect in a good Italian coffee place

Still a staple and one of the best espresso's in the city. Also nice that it hasn't been consumed by the "hipsterism" of the plateau - old world charm will never get old, forget the fads and gimmicks.

Excellent café. Place et terrasse sympathique. Ambiance légendaire lorsque la saison du Football (Soccer) est en finale. Une Must pour ceux qui passent dans le Mile-end, tout comme le Club Social à un coin de rue de là.

The espresso is very comparable to what you get at most cafés in Paris, meaning it is objectively bad espresso. This is one of the major food paradoxes of Paris: how can a city that loves and consumes so much espresso tolerate such dreck. But just like a good Parisian cafe, it doesn't really matter because Café Olimpico has character and charm to spare.

Similar to Social down the street. Very authentic with Italian drinks and sweets. Good prices, but the coffee is just good, not great.

Great drinks and great atmosphere. Wonderful place to do work or socialize with coffee and desserts.
