Café Replika

We stopped by this place to have Turkish coffee. It was tasty and made properly. The service was sonbahar a typical hipster: too cool to be friendly. Lol

Had an amazing experience working at Café Replika. The modern and stylish ambiance made for a perfect workspace. The café provided ample tables and outlets, which was incredibly convenient. I was impressed with the quiet atmosphere that allowed me to focus. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great place to work and enjoy excellent coffee!

Ok là on parle de mon café doudou. J’y vais pour travailler principalement et je m’y sens comme dans mon second bureau. Tout est juste parfait et j’ai hâte d’être à l’été pour retrouver ma limonade rosée favorite ️️

The best oat milk latte in town. They have good food, wifi, a casual and relaxing space. I really recommend spending an afternoon reading here!

The coffee is really good. We tried the mocha and the energy ball. Unfortunately, it was closed the day after the Boxing Day and there was no notice about it. So that was disappointing because we walked all the way only to find it closed. Also, when we came there were no food options available (we were there early).

Cute local cafe with good beverages and snacks. Usually pretty busy so seating is a hit or miss.

Stars is really depend on what you looking for. I give 5 starts because i was looking a place for studying which has some good drink. And yes this place offer me more than what I need. Its quite, chill vibe, has amazing drink and food (for main food they only have empanada and soup). For such a cafe, their food is surprisingly delicious. Also the matcha latte is the best! (I am a matcha lover and can say that theirs is sooo good)

So, if you looking for quite, cozy cafe which has some good options for drink but not really into main food, I can guarantee u will love this cafe. But if you looking for fancy, cute cafe which has good chair, and craving for various main food, then you can leave it.

Stopped in here on our recent trip to Montreal from NYC. Was far and away the best cup of coffee my wife and I had during our trip. We each got a cappuccino and it was prepared perfectly, not scalded or scorched. The espresso had good flavor and the milk was frothed properly. It was so good, we came back the next day!

The space was cool, and the turkish coffee was delightful, but the girl working behind the counter had a terrible attitude, then had the audacity to pass me a machine with a 50% tip option

Beautiful croissants, coffee and also beautiful people!

The only thing I don't like is that at the time I use to go there is a lot of people waiting in line and just one person taking the orders and sometimes the same person should prepare the coffee and finish the service which means a lot of waiting time.

Excellent coffee and snacks, cozy atmosphere, incredible choice of music and friendly staff.

But honestly, the bathroom needs a solid refresh and sometimes tables are a little sticky.

Overall 4 stars, I like the place and will be returning.

A café where you don’t expect one. Very good coffee but I had inconsistent experiences depending on the barista. Definitely the best option in the area and an absolute saviour for a coffee fix when you think your outside the “I want to drink a great coffee” area. On a fine winter day you can sip your coffee under the sun on the bench against the café’s wall. My definition of Life

Very good hot chocolate.very nice baristas and vibe overall.spaces for dining without laptops (pas d'ordi stickers on tables) as well as seats with plugs for laptop work.

Got a yummy simit sandwich, latte was awesome and also the person working today was awesome! Definitely coming back since they play music at the right volume too so I can do my lecture

EXCELLENT scone - kinda like a cheesy biscuit with herbs, soft and fluffy on inside and crisp on the outside.
Good iced latte, nice atmosphere, nice person behind the counter.

Dark roster coffe. The place does have a personality and feels authentic. I hope the tables inside can be use again after the pandemic

J'aime beaucoup ce café, il était très agréable de s'y asseoir pour travailler ou étudier. Et malgré la pandémie, je continue à y aller, j'adore leur cappucino et gâteau aux graines de tournesol.

Barista lente et désagréable; se permet de refuser des clients 5min avant la fermeture. Il y a de meilleurs cafés à encourager dans le quartier.

Just straight up great quality coffee. I go here because the foam, ingredients, crema, everything is always on point. I love the mocha especially, the chocolate they use is velvety and delicious

This Turkish inspired cafe is a real treat. The staff is super friendly, and there’s plenty of seats with young hip people lounging around looking suspiciously studious working on laptops. They offer a really nice selection of Organic loose teas served in cute dainty vessels. The menus is simple and delicious with lots of fresh ingredients on offer. It’s reasonably priced and comfortable, everything a cafe should be. The perfect little hangout. Oh and the music is parfait.

Updating my post: The espresso itself continues good, but the mochaccino not. They probably changed the chocolate. It was so good before. A shame.

Location: On Rachel, west of St. Denis. Metered parking - use transit or walk.

The space: I really like this loft-like café, with its communal tables and roomy interior. It offers up a very casual vibe, with good tunes and plenty of daylight. I also liked the funky art that is scattered throughout the place.

The food: I ordered a Simit sandwich with black olive tapenade, avocado, tomato, sprouts. It was DELICIOUS. For those of you who don't know, a Simit is basically the Turkish equivalent of a bagel, but these are thinner and lighter than your standard Montreal bagel. Having had Simit in Istanbul, I was pleasantly surprised at how bloody good these were. The clerk told me they make these in-house, so I guess that explains it. I also ordered the homemade lemonade, which was both refreshing and tasty.

Service: Good.

Price: Worth it. For $10, I got a huge sandwich and homemade lemonade.

Verdict: Go. It's a great place to get a quick snack, chill out over a good book or to get a coffee with friends. Also, they carry the same brand of Turkish coffee that I brought back from Turkey so. BONUS!

Very taste simit with veggies! The presentation was also great! And they also have halal sausages / sujuc. Definitely will come again when we are in Montreal!

I don’t get why this place is so popular. I had to come here some times because of my French school is at the corner. The coffee is ok. But other things are overpriced. For example, the hot chocolate was not well done—I mean, I finished the drink but still half of the chocolate powder was not mixed well and sticked at the bottom. The pastry is definitely overpriced. Not only they are small in size but also not tasty. The cheese scone is super salty! Now I walk 10 mins to Hof Kelsten for my coffee break.

J'aurais réellement aimer attribuer une meilleure note à ce café, puisque les employés sont très aimables et que le café est délicieux. Malheureusement, le service est lent, la musique relativement forte, les lieux ne sont pas très propres et il est difficile de se faire servir en français.

Top, super ambiance, spacieux et plein de caractère. Grande tables partagées, sandwich delicieux.bien pour une journée travail tout comme un après midi de catch-up avec duchmole. Seulement pas particulièrement réputé pour sa limonade rosée

Lieu lugubre du plateau, ou la décoration faussement vintage et carrément usée vient sans doute rassurer les bobos en quête identitaire. On se pose dans ce réfectoire sans âme mais sûrement très "trendy", avec l'habituel laptop, en faisant mine d'oublier les autres. Pas goûté à la bouffe mais le café est correct. Un gros "Bof".

I like this place. Cappuccino is good but coffee is overall too pricy here. I think it's kind of harsh to charge +0.75$ for vegetal milk. And they don't have any loyalty stamp card

I visited Café Replika a couple times during a short trip to Montreal in June 2019. I tried their smoked salmon bagel sandwich, soy chai latte, and iced mocha. The sandwich was, the chai latte was pretty meh, and the iced mocha was just as expected. This place is quite no-frills, but it has a chill vibe with ample seating. I'm glad I stumbled across this place, as it became my go-to stop to rest my feet and read.

A beatiful little cafe with amazing cappuccino. Their coffee is like lost art. Food is good too! Best enjoyed in leisure.try not to run with a takeaway.

The staff were friendly and the place was cozy and friendly. We had a macchiato, cappuccino and regular coffee.

Friendly staff, amazing food. The smoked salmon bagel is out-of-this-world deliciousness. Lemon lavender muffin is a must try - perfectly and lightly sweetened

Très peu de choix de nourriture lors de ma première visite. Je n'ai pas trop saisi le concept de cet endroit. J'ai voulu un café glacé et le caissier a été très très peu généreux sur la glace quand je lui au demandé à 2 reprises d'en ajouter. Finalement j'ai bu un café tiède.

Baristas know how to make a good latte. Maybe a bit pricey but you can relax as long as you want. Go on Sundays if you want to be serenaded by a marching band while you bask outside looking at the neighbours and students go by.

La dernière fois que je suis allé il y avait une infestation de fourmis sur le comptoir du lait et du sucre, c'était intéressant à observer pendant que j'attendais pour mon chai latté au soja.

I love Replika, it's a great little coffee shop. It's generally pretty packed (it's a plateau favourite for groups of students to come study), but there's often a seat free somewhere if you're flying solo.

They make their almond milk in house, have a decent selection of little sandwiches and stuff to nibble on, and they sell a really delicious peanut butter cookie.

The employees are always super nice as well, so it's nice to be greeted with a smile.

It's a nice and cozy Turkish coffee shop where they actually serve the traditional Turkish coffee (very finely ground coffee beans, unfiltered). One of my greatest discovery was their salted chocolate chip Nutella cookie. The simit sandwiches as well.

Just like their neighbour coffee shop (Café Névé), there are a lot of students studying there so unfortunately, it gets crowded very fast. The food is a little bit pricey but the quality is there.

Cool vibe, but not a lot of electrical outlets for studying and I payed 10 dollars (before tip!) for one scone with creme cheese and tea, so pretty expensive! Would go somewhere else, there is a bunch of great cafés in the area!

This is great for a hang out but not the most ideal place for studying. The music is not the most neutral when it comes to studying. The lighting is a bit too dim which if you're reading can give you a headache. There are enough power outlets though. It's also a cosy place and they have tea from Camillia Sinesis and they seem to have a good selection of food - didn't try it though. So I'm not sure if there's a vegan selection.

Le cafe etait pas top! Mais c est parfait pour venir travailler avec son ordi. L'endroit est tres cool et decontracte: On se croirait a la maison!
