J’adore ce petit gem du plateau.
Caché, avec peut-être la plus belle terrasse qu’un café aurait jamais eu!
J’ai adoré mes lectures matinales au Santropol cet été!
J’y suis retourné et le service n’était pas aussi doux qu’avant mais Santropol restera toujours une bonne environnement pour une bonne ambiance et un bon café!

It’s a cute place for a decent sandwich. Price is ok and service is friendly. I had the Olympique and my partner the Duluth. Mine was 3/5 hers 5/5 hence the 4/5. I might have enjoyed better if I chose better

Very pretty cafe, both inside and the terrace, with a lovely pond with cute red fish!
The food options are limited though, mainly vegan and I believe a bit expensive for what you get.
I liked my spiced chai though, and a warm bowl of soup was what I needed on the terrace, cause I visited early November when Its chilly
Overall, worth visiting because of the cute ambiance (I think it would even be more lovely in Summer), but maybe for drinks, not the food.

After all these years and with a new generation of staff and clientele, Café Santropol has succeeded in preserving it's cozy comfort, hospitality and good food while stepping with a light ecological footprint.

Il est jeudi soir, 17h30. Le quart du restaurant et de la terrasse sont remplis. On me demande si je veux être assise dehors ou à l’intérieur. Je réponds la terrasse. On prend ma commande et 5 minutes après j’ouvre mon laptop pour commencer du travail (on est dans un café, je me dis ca va de soi). Et bien non, on m’accroche pour me dire qu’il est interdit d’utiliser l’ordi sur la terrasse. J’ai déjà passé ma commande, alors je ne peux pas m’en aller. Aucune pancarte indique cette information. Avoir su, je serais allée ailleurs. Très décevant considérant que la place est presque vide et que je ne dérange personne. En plus, les sandwichs sont vraiment ordinaires. Je n’y retournerai pas!

I enjoyed a Mexican salad with chili last Saturday in the backyard. I've been here multiple times and have always had a good experience. The portions are generous and the backyard is very cozy.

Leur magnifique ambiance était la chose qui distinguait aux autres cafés Naturel, tout doux et comfortable, il m’a donné un de mes meilleurs souvenirs avec mon père La nourriture était satisfaisante avec son prix! Je vous recommande fortement à y passer du temps avec vos précieux personnes

We had the perfect rainy fall weather. Beautiful, cosy and eclectic decor made us feel very comfortable. We also saw their incredible terrasse which was unfortunately a little wet but we hope to sit there one day.
Every single thing we ordered was out of this world. A giant, full sandwich with lovely airy bread that was very satisfying. We wish we had more. A delicious butternut squash soup just pefect for this time of year. Homemade chili we had to try since the wonderful smell of it was the first thing we noticed as we entered and it tastes even better than it smells. An incredible apple cheddar scone for dessert that we couldn't get enough of.
We had a really great experience it is also in part due to exemplary service. This cafe seems very popular and therefore extremely busy. Our server was incredibly fast, amicable and courteous we appreciate hwo difficult it is to work in the service industry nowadays and thank her for helping to make our morning superb.

"No takeout without a tip" according to staff at front. Used to be one of my favourites, and the food is still great, but not worth the unfriendly and rude front of house.

I thought it would be expensive because of the location and beautiful garden terrace, but the food was cheap, *and* they had a lot of vegan options, including vegan dessert.i ate a very good vegan chili which was a good portion for the price, and a small but good vegan "cheesecake".

This place is so cute! I’m sad I found it in October and not earlier. The food was very good (huge portions for a cafe) and the ambiance when sitting outside is so cute. I could spend hours here with a book must try and must see.

On a été découragé d’avoir à attendre une heure pour la terrasse. On n’ous a emmené la facture avant qu’´on ne termine notre plat principal, sans nous demander si on veut un dessert. Quand au gateau aux carottes, nous l’avons eu une foiS que nous avions terminé le café. Service minable, sans un sourire

The location is quite pleasant and comfortable, but the staff is exceptionally unfriendly. The food is reasonably good with generous portions. In summary, it's a place worth visiting, but you may not leave with the feeling of wanting to return.

Superbe expérience dans ce charmant lieu avec de succulents sandwichs. Allez-y sans hésiter!

A coffee oasis. Beautiful, with a pond with fish, trees, and a super chill pleasant atmosphere

Gosh I’m gonna miss this place when the winter comes. It’s everything you are looking for: healthy, peaceful, delicious and not overly priced. Loved everything about it. Felt so good to eat something that’s healthy in such a nice space and ambiance. Just go, go, gooo stop reading and go. Oh I had a Mexican salad with avocado 100/10

Cold gazpacho restored our HP on an oppressively hot day. Great sandwiches too-they look huge but the bread is light and fluffy. Really filling, but fresh and light, and doesn't leave you feeling weighed down. The outside area's a great spot to chill.

Great sandwich. Staff were nice but seemed in a hurry for us to leave. Strange given the cafe was quiet.

Lovely beautiful outside seating yard with a little pond. Great atmosphere and tasty sandwiches and salads.

7 stars for vibes, 2 stars for drinks, 4 stars for food.
The tempeh sandwich is VERY yummy.
The chai milkshake is also really good.
Desserts are good.
Hard to get a spot to eat or study at peak hours.

Le sandwich Triplex était délicieux et l’ambiance du jardin très agréable. Vaut le déplacement.

We stop here every time we’re in Montreal. Suchhhh fresh and delicious food, amazing atmosphere (especially the back garden!), and really friendly wait staff. My husband is obsessed with the Coin St. Urbain sandwich and i usually get the chili and salad! Their homemade salad dressings are always beyond amazing.
