La terrasse extérieur est très chouette, à l’intérieur c’est beau, mignon.

Avec mes amies nous avons prit 2 plat de pâtes et 1 burger et tout était sans goût!

Je n’ai jamais mangé des pâtes aussi mal cuisinés! Pas assaisonnés, pas de saveur, le burger aurai été meilleur chez a&w!

Et le service ohlalala … désagréable, un humeur très ironique à la limite du manque de respect.

Honnêtement, le lieu donne envie. Mais c’est tout.

Continuez votre chemin et allez ailleurs.

Allez au Subway à côté, la bouffe sera meilleure.

It's a hidden gem just off the artists' alley. We sat outside on the terrace for dinner. The weather was perfect and the lights and the fire made it cozy. Overhead heaters; blankets if needed. Glass pumpkin centerpieces added to the ambiance. The cheesecake was dense, creamy and delicious.

All the food we order were awesome and tasted excellent. I finished everything including the ice cream crepes. We belonged to a tour bus rendezvous for which they chose this restaurant and it was delicious, honestly! My steak melts in my mouth I didn’t even have to ask for A1 or worstershire sauce (sorry can’t spell that). Great dinner for the entire group.

Our server was fun, efficient, and helpful. Food was excellent. We sat outside, and blankets were available for the chill.

Amazing place with tasty food - big delicious portions. Opposite to many other places around - they are pets friendly, so we even ordered dog's meal for our dog.

Great tasting mulled wine! The pigs in a blanket were delicious. Enjoy a hot drink on the patio in winter.

Our server was beyond nice and treated us like high profile customers even though we just ordered the soup 20 minutes before closing. One of the only restaurants open past 9 in the entire area and it's well priced in comparison to a lot of the other places. (The French onion soup is insanely good)

Stumbled upon this cozy restaurant that had a delicious vegetarian poutine and a variety of dishes for the vegetarian tourist!

The pea soup and french onion were perfect. Perfect lunch get-away. Fair price for a good meal.

The quality of the food was very unpredictable. The french onion soup and maple pie were great, the salmon and meat pie were okay (pie came a bit cold), the greek salad was not very good and the ice cream crepe was quite bad (the dough was tasteless and too stiff). Overall okay if you know what to order.

Wonderful experience eating here. The staff was very friendly and the food delicious. The tourtiere was especially good. And the maple syrup pie is not too be missed! Yum! Highly recommend.

If you’re looking for a family owned and run cafe in the heart of town, you’ve found one! It’s located down an ally way, so it’s more protected from the noise, wind, and crowds while having the beautiful terrace aesthetic.

The French onion soup is no joke. It comes freshly made in a large pot and is full of flavor. If you’re American and looking for something unique, try the elk stew. I finished my meal off with a chocolate cream brûlée that’s defiantly ranked in my top deserts.

Ate here recently, ordered steak and frites, onion soup, snails, and a pasta. Steak and frites were awful, bland, tasteless. Onion soup had a weird flavor, definitely worse than what I’ve tasted before. Snails were ok, paid a whopping 4$ for more cheese. Pasta was tasteless too, with an additional charge on cheese.

But, no matter how bad the food was, the servers were worse. Being new here, we spent a bit of time looking at the menu, the lady server asked twice what we wanted, and when she finally took our order. She rolled her eyes at us. She had an impatient manner the whole time from taking our order to bringing the bill.

Overall, it’s been quite an awful experience. Don’t recommend coming here ever.

The food is ok, the servers are friendly; we were waiting more the 36 mins for the main course, one of the few restaurants open in Monday.

Found this cute place trying to get out of the rain! Me and my mom both got the french onion soup with Cesar salad and garlic bread! It was beyond delicious! The staff where extremely friendly and the environment was very welcoming for everyone. Would highly recommend you go for any of the food as every dish they brought out looked tasty. Overall I would definitely return to this adorable little spot! Thank you for the amazing experience and food!

Perfect for what it is! Great service! Christian is the gem! Pet friendly, great burgers, perfect if you don’t want to spend a lot of time waiting and are going to the tour. Great quick meal for the middle of the day!

A small cosy restaurant with incredible hospitality from the owner and staff and an exceptionally tasty cuisine.

The food is very well made, richly prepared with quality ingredients. Everything we ordered was delicious, with generous portions and a balanced price.

The staff is exceedingly friendly and courteous, and the owner is a jewel of a person. The waitress always had her corner under control and there was no table that was discarded.

This is a highly recommended place if you're ever visiting Quebec City.

Tourist trap.but the waitress did not really serve us while we saw her pay attention to others. She dropped the bill off at the end without saying anything or asking if we wanted anything else. Food is flavorless and I agree completely with the review about the chicken burger. It came as pieces of chicken. We would have been better off at « chic shack ». Unfortunate because the other staff welcomed us and were nice and the patio is pleasant. We would have stayed and had another drink if we were treated with respect.

The worst chicken burger i have had in my entire life! And trust me I am a fan of chicken burger. And what I had was not a burger nor good chicken burger specially looking at their menu prices. The only explanation I got from some arrogant guy was that it is the recipe of the chicken but how can you call a boiled piece of chicken tosses with red chilly as a piece which should go inside a chicken burger.

I came here for lunch recently. The server was very friendly and helpful with suggesting a light lunch. In terms of food, I tried the French Onion Soup Trio: Soup, Caesar Salad, and Garlic Bread. The caesar salad and garlic bread were nice in terms of flavour and freshness, and the french onion soup was okay. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal, especially considering the value.

We had an amazing dinner at this restaurant. 10 out of 10! Awesome staff, marvelous soups, delicious poutine, and clean and safe place. I truly recommend! Well served meal in a cozy environment. A must go! Enjoy!

We had one of our best meals in Quebec at this hidden cafe. The escargot was flavorful and tender. The salmon with maple glaze was amazing.

The food was excellent, the location is incredible, and the people are just so fun. The maple pie is absolutely worth indulging!

Wonderful restaurant! We had a really good time there with our dog. Very glad they accepted our furry kid. The patio is charming and has heat. Food is delicious. We ordered the meat pie and steak. Both awesome. The maple tart is a must have.

The worst experience I've ever had in my life. There's a full course menu that does not include any vegetarian meals. We asked if we could change any of the 4 different options for a vegetarian one and the waiter said he simply couldn't UNDERSTAND.
Mind you we were speaking perfect French, he simply ignored us and said that if we wanted the 3 courses we would have to pay extra.

He just kept saying he didn't understand our request and that the restaurant worked this way for more than 20 years and no changes can be made.

Definitely not coming back.

Really liked it. Nice people, nice very cute patio. Excellent food at fair prices. I would do it again for sure. French onion soup was outstanding.

We were greeted very friendly and seated by the fireplace. Food came quickly and was delicious. The mother and son that run this restaurant went above and beyond to make our experience pleasurable so much so that we stayed over 4 hours. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Great food and great service. We were tired of walking and we had a small dog with us. We just wanted to sit down before heading out back to Montreal. The servers were extremely accommodating us, even with our puppy. We enjoyed the food and the rest. Thank you guys.

Not a great restaurant, if that’s what you even want to call it. You would be better served going to McDonald’s than this place.

We ordered the bruschetta for starters. Bread was nice and soft (we got charged extra for adding cheese to the bread? Lol). The bruschetta itself was so bland and just tasted like nothing. I’ve had better bruschetta from the grocery store.

Additionally, we ordered burgers (will only review mine) I had the chicken club burger. You are not given a chicken breast, instead it is chicken that is cut up and put into a burger? Where have you seen that? Having this set up caused all the chicken to fall out of the burger when you are eating it… turned into a salad.

The worst part tho, there are NO condiments or sauces in the burgers. Instead you are brought tiny packets of ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise. Where have you seen that at a restaurant? No where.

Please take my advice and go somewhere else, although the price may be attractive, I promise you the food is tasteless.

We were here for an anniversary dinner. We were walking around Quebec City looking at the posted menus. We chose Café-Terrasse because it looked cute and had a lot of vegetarian options for me. The service was efficient and friendly and the meals were delicious including the maple pie which we had never had. Covid protocols were followed including checking our vaccine confirmations and matching ID.

Maple pie Best thing I’ve ever tasted i don’t have a sweet tooth. But WOW! Food was exceptional, I had the Caribou stew new experience gravy a little weird, not for picky eaters. Everything we had Samon, burger and steak. Would easily go there again, very small and nice. Called the Caribou a fat duck with the look!

Service was fantastic, as was the food. There was a bit of a wait but only because we wanted to sit outside. They do not (or at least couldnt that night) take reservations and was quite busy spot so I would recommend arriving on the earlier side for dinner. Table ordered a tourtierre, caribou stew, and 2 steak meals all were fantastic. The salads were all extremely delicious.one of the best ceasar salads I have ever had. Dressing was somehow both decadent and light. Prices were reasonable. Strongly recommend.

I had the Caribou Stew.it comes with a nice salad and rice. Hesitant trying new food, but I'm so glad I ordered this. None left. Simply awesome!

And as I've eaten here many years ago I was drawn to order their Maply Syrup Pie before and wondered if I really liked it last time or thought I did. Today flconformed it. I really like it!

A great place for lunch (or any meal) in Quebec City. We had a nice lunch and drinks on the restaurant's outside terrace, which had many patrons, but the restaurant maintained Covid safety by seating patrons far from each other and requiring a mask upon entry (prior to eating).

A menu sure to please everyone. Also a great place to people watch. We didn't wait long for a table, nor our food and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend.

Delicious! We shared the Croque Monsieur and Asparagus & Tomato Baguette. Both were amazing! Highly recommend for a tasty and quick lunch!

We have just spent a week on vacation between Montreal and Quebec City and have to say that this was one of our most favorite meals - the onion soup was incredible, the torchiere was extremely authentic and the cheese cake was delicious! However, what stood out for us, above everywhere else we had been, was the ABSOLUTE Superb service from Karen and Lydia! These two ladies single-handedly, handled the continuous influx of customers, in a friendly, efficient and professional manner. They were answering questions in both English and French, never mis-serving any meal, keeping strict COVID protocols and at all times with constant smiles on their faces! We sincerely hope the owners appreciate them!

This restaurant was amazing, the waiters we great and they were super friendly. There was a great selection of food and it was very well prepared, the waiters even brought my dog some water.we started with the snails, it was prepared beautifully, I ordered the veggie burger and it tasted amazing. Very nice dog friendly terrace. We came with our pup and toddler and the staff brought a bowl of water for our doggo within seconds. They were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. The club burger and hamburger were both tasty and the fries were both crispy and plentiful. We will definitely return the next time we're in Quebec.

The best meal we've had in Quebec City. I had the caribou stew and it was excellent. My wife had the tortier and again excellent. The dishes are Quebecois Classiqes and prepared "avec amour". Service was very friendly and helpful and bilingual. The best part was the atmosphere; the patio is off the artists alley so a very quiet little courtyard in the evening. Overall this should be a 6 star.

Amazing restaurant. They are open much longer then most other restaurants around. We came in pretty late and ended up being their last customers of the night. Although we made them stay open longer, the service was still absolutely wonderful, the waiters were genuinely kind, attentive, and helpful and the food was exquisite.

The Table D’hors option is well worth it compared to other places, especially for Quebec style food. Entrees come with generous serving of a side and small salad. Tourtière is unique and made with cinnamon. Maple pie was really good.

This restaurant, which is located in the old city, features traditional fare in a comfortable, charming setting. I had a delicious tourtière that suited the chilly day perfectly. The staff was efficient and friendly. My friends and I ate indoors, but it would have been possible to sit outdoors on the heated terrasse. All in all, a very nice place to rest up and enjoy a tasty meal while touring the old city.

Not sure where my original review went. Kicked out of the cold outdoor terrace because we had three bites left of a German market crêpe. Owner asked us if we got it there and we said no although we had already ordered AND PAID for two drinks (hubby had to go inside to order) and were planning to order more. We had arrived early with plans to meet other friends. Owner (I assume) was extremely rude. He could have simply ask me to step away 4 feet onto the street to finish the crepe or toss it. The waitress was carrying our drinks out when the owner did through his fit At least he had the waitress refund our money.

Nous avons trouvé cet endroi vraiment très joli. Nous sommes venus à la ville de Québec juste pour la fin de semaine-juillet 2019- et nous avons beaucoup aimé notre visite au resto. La norriture été à notre goût et le rapport prix qualité, très bon. Bon décor et service très accueillant.

This place closed early and don’t have real coffee. Their coffee comes from the coffee machine you see in the hotel lobby.

On m'a servi une assiette que je n'avais pas commandé car ils ont inversé avec la table d'à côté. Sinon la qualité est moyenne donc rapport qualité prix correcte.
