Café Tuyo

This might be my favorite cafe in Montreal! The sandwiches are delightfully delicious, and it may be the best chocolatine (pain au chocolat) in Montreal that I've had. The chocolatine flavor is incredible and the texture is delightfully flaky and chewy and rich. The people running the cafe are very friendly, and the space is very cute and cozy. Great place for breakfast, lunch, or coffee, and it'd be good for meeting a friend or for working for a bit.

(Plus, everything is vegan, which is important for me. Vegan croissants and vegan chocolatines? Yes please.)

The cafe staff is nice but the charm this place had before is completely gone. They have fake grass as decor, and these weird chairs. I think they tried to modernize but the old world cozy thifty is exactly what made this place so special. Now I barely see anyone in. They also don’t even make madeleine cookies anymore: (

Got two of the tofu sandwiches here and the croissant. The sandwiches were tasty and seemed very healthy - would get again!

Went for breakfast and had the vegan fake salmon bagel and amandine (almond croissant). Both were so delicious and well priced. Would definitely come back!

Beautiful place with a nice menu.

Besides this is very open and welcoming for the events organization. If you want to make a poetic event or lectorium, this place would be a great option!

Definitely my favourite veggie cafe in the city. I could stay and order here all day. The atmosphere is perfect and the food tastes home made and nourishing.

Such a cute little cafe! Croissants were light and flakey. Sandwiches full of flavour. The carrot lox bagel was as other reviews say, to die for. We ended up buying treats to go. Such a lovely place highly recommend. We walked 45 min to get here and would do it again in a heartbeat

Easy 5 stars. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I was truly impressed. Their carrot lox bagel was one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. My first food experience in Quebec and it was a great first impression!

I just showed up to try this coffee shop and it’s closed, even though listing hours/schedule suggests it should have been open 15 minutes ago. No one even inside.

Sérieux j'ai manger leur Bagel au carottes qui ressemble fort a un bagel au saumon, et franchement c'est trop bon, délicieux, ouah, Ambiance douce c'est grand, relaxant comme endroit et propre.

One of the best croissants in Montreal!
Came back once again the next morning for breakfast and again for a quick bite and a takeout parcel for the journey back to Toronto.
Amazing vibes and great food.
The coffees are so aromatic and freshly brewed.
The food as always super fresh and tasty.
The service is awesome.
Pricing is very reasonable given the quality of produce used.
The breads pastries and desserts are all made in-house.

The attendant was so unfriendly that it made the whole experience bad despite the good food. We pay tips when we are well attended, this time I paid and I felt frustrated.
The coffee is not good either and it doesnt have options for milk, only soy. Too bad! Hope at least the service gets better, but ill never spend my money going there again.

Matcha innncroyable! Belle ambiance, et le fait que les proprios soient mère/fille ajoute un bonus au charme. Brioche à la cannelle un peu sec malheureusement, mais tout le reste 10/10! Hâte de goûter leurs sandwichs qui ont l’air excellents.

UPDATE: don’t even bother coming here. It’s my fourth time coming here during their listed opening hours to find them closed. With so many great cafes in the other area I wouldn’t waste your time. I’m sure the coffee is great but it’s so disrespectful to have customers show up to find the place closed without context or notice.

You guys should really be updating your hours here and on your social media. Also wouldn’t hurt to notify people when you’re temporarily closed. I’d bet the two minutes it’d take to do so would save you a bunch of negative reviews here.

Quel désastre! Extrêmement désolant
L'endroit est sale, une des employée était continuellement au téléphone pour des appels personnels ou en train de fumer dehors, le frigidaire est très bruyant. On m'a servi un café froid débordant dans sa soucoupe avec un gâteau non cuit en miette. Le verre dans lequel on m'a servi de l'eau était sale et ébréché. Une chaise en bois s'est écroulée lorsqu'une cliente s'est assise dessus. It was probably a nice place a long time ago, but it hasn't been maintained. Je ne reviendrai jamais.

Cute spot and not too busy. Also service was really good.

However I came at 10am and there were almost no pastries left. Quite a shame since I came specifically for them. So I ordered instead a breakfast burrito meal with a dark hot chocolate. It was good, but it was a bit more on the expensive side.

Also, music was really loud. It was regular cafe music which would usually suit well a place like this but not in this case - it was way too loud. I could not stay focused on my work on my tablet and overall made me feel uncomfortable with all the loud instrument sounds.

Maybe I'll come by another time to try some of their pastries.

I am not a vegan, but the food choices are really good, especially tofu bagel sandwich. And they have wifi.
