Caffè In Gamba

My partner and I come everyday here for our coffee dose. Excellent coffee blend, the best staff in the world, always smiling, warm and welcoming. Makes you come the next day. I know coffee and I recommend this place you won’t be disappointed.

I am very disapointed that this place is allowing work on electronic devices on the weekend again. You've got to love to be surrounded by computers if you're able to find a spot to sit. Excellent coffee and service, but the amount of laptop users holding places for an hour and a half on the weekend is super underwhelming.

Unpretentious and comfortable cafe in Mile End. Got a latte, and despite not being much of a coffee guy, I really enjoyed it. The foam art was nice too. Prices are pretty ok. The service was quick and friendly.

The caramel latte was I gotta say, the caramel latte here? Absolute perfection! Plus, the staff? Super friendly!

Went here for a late afternoon snack and coffee as I always pass by and never tried it yet, wish I had sooner as it's a very cute little terrace (also have indoor seating), the cappuccino was so tasty and went well with their confectioneries~ it was quite busy but don't be shy it was still definitely worth it to us and we'll be coming back:)

Wonderful coffee shop. They have lots of small tables inside and many people were on laptops, but the outdoor seating is a computer free zone and they don’t allow laptops on Saturdays and Sundays. The baristas were friendly and accommodating and the lattes were excellent. Latte caramel was exceptionally sweet!

While my iced caramel latte was really lovely, I was a bit disappointed with my experience. Came here on a relatively quiet Friday afternoon with my small pup because I read another review that it was pet friendly and noticed pics of other dogs inside. Unfortunately when I arrived, I was told that he’s only allowed on the terrace. Not a problem, as the weather was great. However they didn’t even let me wait for my order inside. When I got to the terrace I noticed a sign that said the terrace is a laptop free zone at all times. So now I’m sipping my iced latte as fast as I can to make it home to work. Disappointing experience and not much kindness.

Best pastries I’ve found in MTL so far, great coffee, great music and amazingly kind staff. This place is a gem.

Cet endroit et plus particulièrement le café qui est servi sont largement surévalués. Du travail à faire pour être dans le top 10. Ils ne le sont pas pour le moment.

Ambiance absente et décor sans éclat.

Le café est très bon et de haute qualité. Le staff est incroyablement sympathique et maîtrise l’art de servir du café. Cependant il est à noté que le In Gamba est un café haut de gamme avec des tariff relativement élevé. Un latte coûte environ 8$ avec les taxes et le tip. Un latte caramel environ 10$. En d’autres termes, super bon pour un plaisir cafeiné si vous en avez le budget!

Cozy atmosphere with super friendly staff. And most importantly: great coffee! Also, if you’re lucky, you’ll get a free coffee sample from Nico. Would recommend 14/10.

Très bon capuccino. Décoration épurée. Service agréable. Le danois aux framboises est délicieux. Le pain au chocolat et pistache était un peu sec mais bon également.

One of the best coffees in the city. Friendly staff and owner. Terrasse is a great place to read, hang out, or people watch on weekends.

Nicely decorated. Coffee was good, well prepared and good flavour. At times is very very very busy.
Options to eat with no diary were very limited (only one, chickpea sandwich)

Really appreciate their selection of local (and otherwise) coffee beans. Have them grind it if you plan to brew it soon. Their grinder is superior to most, very even and they know what their doing. Also, grab a coffee, they really care about what they serve and it shows up in the cup.

If you’re particular about your coffee this place is for you. They have great quality beans that create the perfect “third wave” coffee. Love it!

Très bon petit café avec des excellentes boissons et ambiance calme et cozy. Ils ont aussi la sélection des caramels en pot La Lichée, y compris la saveur du café, fantastique et à essayer!

Réputation n'est pas à faire de toute évidence. On goûte à toutes les saveurs du moment (les twists) à chaque année depuis maintenant 2 ans!

Great coffee and great coffee selection to buy. They carry a really good decaf that we usually get, the Counter Culture. Now they also added Traffic which is local and it's amazing. Also, there are a couple of sofas that make the place comfier and the terrasse is a perfect spot to drink an iced coffee on a sunny day.
They're pastries are really good as well. The staff and service is great and their customer service is outstanding. They really saved us during pandemic!

I’ve spent countless hours in this café working and sipping my perfect latte! Very relaxed atmosphere and very decadent! One of the Baristas often plays Rachmaninoff during his shifts Limited snack selection but it’s all about the delicious coffee here!

If your a coffee connoisseur this is the place to go to. They have a beast of an espresso machine the La Marzocco and use premium coffee to make the perfect espresso based drink. I had a perfect flat white and enjoyed every drop. Lots of space to sit down and enjoy your coffee both in and outdoors.

Le café est riche. C'est le seul café glacé que j'ai goûté (flat white glacé) qui goûtait vraiment l'espresso. C'était ample, crémeux, délicieux. J'y retourne sans cesse depuis des années. Ils sont aussi parmi les meilleurs pour avoir la texture parfaite, latte art à l'appui.

Here's what you do: go for a run or walk on Mt Royal, then walk up Parc Ave and grab a coffee from this place. Love love love their oat milk latte and I always grab a bag of beans for home (they'll grind it to your specs sur place).

Très beau coffeeshop situé en plein cœur du Mile end avec une terrasse plein soleil. Agréable quand les beaux jours reviennent. Le café filtre était vraiment très bon tout comme le petit croquet aux amandes.

The coffe was good! But the barista there isn’t kind! Sorry but if I wasn’t already paid 2 cafés for me and my boyfriend, I’d left immediately! She is working like she is doing an administrative boring job! It’s barista job! We know that we can see a smile even behind a covered mask for the face, the smile of a person you can hear it in his voice and when you observe his eyes!

Coffee is okay, service also just okay.the narcissist behind the counter with his picture on the wall, is seriously lacking in common customer service sensibilities. Pastries are clearly left over from yesterday. Knowledge of simple traditional espresso drinks is very limited. The reviews and inflated prices do not reflect the quality of product and service you'll recieve here.

I find is a little bit overpriced, the espresso I had was ok, I found the coffee was a little more bitter of what Im use to drink, I also had a brownie, it was a big portion and was tasty.

Accueil toujours chaleureux du gérant et des autres baristas, excellent café à l'italienne, souci de l'environnement (particulièrement notable dans la nouvelle localisation sur Saint-Viateur), et terrasse ensoleillée sur l'avenue du Parc. J'y vais au moins une fois par semaine. 100% recommandé!

I came as a visitor and choose this place for early Sunday morning coffee. I must say it is one of the best places to have coffee. Simply amazing. It is my wife's birthday. She commented this to be best coffee of her life and trust me she is a coffee lover.

Nice location. Very nice outdoor seating. I tried the Latte Caramel. It was good. It is a bit pricey for a latte, but it was good. I would go back.

New discovery for me, this trip to Montreal to visit family. Lovely clean cafe on Saint Laurent, north of Fairmount. Stopped in for a cappuccino after a morning walk. Indoor and outdoor seating. Great coffee! Check it out.

Probably my favorite cafe in the mile end. And there are A LOT to choose from. It has some of the best service, and if you buy a bag of beans you get a coffee of your choosing on the house. The small patio on parc ave is great for people watching.

Awesome coffee. Awesome music. Nice selection of breakfast breads/pastries/quiches etc. Lots of seating inside and out. Decor is Italian with modern flair. Wide selection of craft coffee to take home with accessories to boot. A must-visit for coffee-lovers in Montreal.

Great coffee!

From the roast used, to the Brew quantity, pressure and temperature and the milk froth. Everything is perfectly made. It gives a creamy and rich cappuccino.

The shop is cozy and has a lot of coffee related products at decent price.

Staff is not friendly. Starbucks staff is much nicer. $2.00 biscotti was stale. Threw it n the garbage. This place used to be top notch when Jean-Francois owned it. Downhill since sold to new owner.

Super café latté et art latté incroyable! Par contre, j'ai dû enlever une étoile pour la propreté des toilettes. Vraiment répugnant et odeur d'urine forte.

Speaking as an Australian used to really good coffee, this is some of the best coffee you can get in Montreal. Highly recommend the Cortado and if you're down for a mocha they put actual dark chocolate into it.
