My local Resort where I always buy a Season Pass is expanding Lodge $$$$ well but snowmaking on the Skyline side seems limited to dormant this season?

Short of Staff Bob? Compared to big Pushes of other years regardless of weather

I know it's been mild but last night was optimal Cold for Snowmaking

Need more runs & base made on Skyline as only two runs there gets scraped fast

Regarding child ski lessons: they seemed disorganized. You have to get their lift pass first at a special table, not customer service, and then you can get your rentals. We went an hour early and if we hadn't, we would have been late for the lesson. The signage is lacking - another family in front of me made the same kind of comments, we were pretty lost. An email explaining the process a day or 2 in advance would have been useful. Also the group lessons are 1.5 hours, not 1 hour.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful when asked.

Already 20cm snow everywhere. Ski season open only January to March for weekdays seasonal pass holder.
Weekend is open for other.

We visited the mountain coasters during October and the activity was really fun! It costs around $20 with a 50% discount if you want to repeat the rides. The coaster ride took around 2 minutes especially if you're going full speed but the scenes you're traversing were really lovely.

The place had other activities open during the summer/fall season but we did not have time to try them out. Please note their opening times as they only open during the weekends; a mistake we made.

Overall, a lovely place to visit if you're in the Gatinue area.

We reserved our spot at Camp Fortune for a Saturday. Easy to find and lots of free parking. We did the Zip lines & the Mountain Coaster ride. Had a lot of fun. The first zip line was the best. A long run and very fast. Automatic braking system takes all the worry out of stopping if you are apprehensive. The Mountain Coaster was just as much fun. Put the throttle to fastest speed and enjoyed the ride. Staff were very friendly and Safety was #1. Clean park and has a cafeteria for eats afterwards. Definitely a first class operation.

We did a new style bridal shower here today. A bunch of us did the zipline and drop.
Was so fun.

I brought my team of 15 employees to Camp Fortune this week for a day-long retreat. We spent the morning in the meeting room in the new part of the lodge, which was an excellent venue for a group. I would think that room could accommodate at least 60 people comfortably for a meeting. The food (breakfast and lunch) was great, and they accommodated food preferences and allergies. We spent the afternoon doing the aerial adventure, which was tonnes of fun. It's a challenging course, and best for fit adults. Those who cannot do it at all can take photos and enjoy it from the ground. Or, you can choose to do just part of it.
We had a perfect day, and everyone enjoyed it!

Tried the Mountain Coaster with my family, which included two teenagers. Was a blast, highly recommend. Also recommend buying at least two trips on it.

UPDATE: -1 more star due to dreadful crowds returning after end of pandemic. A chairlift repeatedly breaking down made matters worse. Got in about four short runs in several hours. Just too packed on weekends. If you are based in Ottawa, go a little further afield for a better ski experience.

Hill easily accessible from Gatineau and Ottawa. Four chair lift alleys lifting from different base points, one major chalet at the central lift and one satellite chalet at the bottom of the Skyline lift, a decent range of runs from easy to hard. It’s local so we aren’t expecting Whistler here. GREAT snow board and trick ski obstacle course that is well maintained, as well as a cool little mogul piste. Well kitted for the pandemic with gates that open automatically from an RFID card in your pocket, which you can charge up online. @CampFortune I took down one star since I think you could work a little more on opening side trails and glades.

We tried the mountain coaster. It was amazing. We went on a weekday and early so it wasn't busy. Kids enjoyed thoroughly.

I am have skied here a lot, but it would be awesome if there were a backcountry map of all the hidden double black glades too;)

I have a question will there ever be a new lift? I know you guys just spent a lot on zip lines and coasters and a new lodge but a new lift would be fire as you could attract a lot of attention away from other resorts again, amazing place to ski, keep up the good work!

Also in the winter, more line metal barriers are nice for lines as many people are cutting so it would be goood to invest in some new line items

Great place, took my girlfriend and we loved it.
Staff was great and a new locker system was put in.
We were first customers to use it and recieved free camp fortune t-shirts.
Very nice and generous of management to give us shirts.
Was my first visit and we decided to try the mountain carts after the zip lines.

Parking is free and lots.washrooms available and clean, both on 1 and 2nd floor. Cafe is on 2nd floor.large sitting area, inside and outside.menu is in the picture but not much options for vegetarian.you can bring your own food as well.there are rental locker service available.
Summer activities: mountian coaster, peak to peak zipline, aerial Park, mountian bike (season/day pass and bike rental available)
Winter activities: skiing, snowboarding.lessons available and rental equipment also available. I have heard that the season pass and rental stuff for winter is cheaper here than pakenham.

Really cool place, we did the coaster attraction and it was super fun. At first it seemed a little over priced, but then you take into account the nice lift they have and the people they need in order to run it and it’s actually worth it definitely recommend! The people they have working at their desk could use a little better training in customer service and knowledge of the hill but other than that super friendly. The guy at the top sending us down was super fun and you could tell he really enjoys himself. Will definitely be going back.

When on the zip lines while visiting family in Ottawa was very cool to see how they utilize and transform their ski slopes in the summer months. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Went to the aero-park today with my family. The staff was super helpful and patient specially a young man named Edgar who helped my youngest 6 years old face her fear of heights and get thru the course. Really professional and great with kids. Was a wonderful experience and a great memory for our family

The Parcours and zip lining was great fun for teens. Manu and Katie were fantastic instructors, well organized friendly and patient.

Definitely get your money's worth. 10/10 for the ziplining Aerial park. It only costed me and my family 40-50$ per person, which is a great deal. The staff are amazing and thoroughly explained everything.
