I found this place old, dirty and the swimming pool was close and green in the button.
The employees are very kind and polite

This park is a hidden gem. The park is easy to access from the highway, and our spot #151 is a beautiful corner lot with large cedar hedge which adds a privacy to the large yard. The staff at this park are all beyond friendly and extremely accommodating. Shopping, hiking, walking, and restaurants are all in this beautiful area. Hudson is Gorgeous and the ease of simply crossing a bridge to get onto the island of Montreal is yet another bonus of this park. We came for a week and never got to see all the area has to offer. So we will be back.

The site was empty when we arrived. Seems cash was most preferred by the two brothers who own the place. The brother are.eccentric. It's hard to see if they see eye-to-eye with regards to doing business. This campsite was vast and has many beautiful sites scattered between trees and open fields. There is an eyesore of broken equipment, a broken trampoline, and forgotten about (in some cases) campers that definitely saw their last days. The staff were quick to help with fining solutions—more firewood, toilets (real that flush too!) garbage disposal and more. I will certainly go again with the pooches. There is an awesome dog park right next door that can't be missed!

Beau camping sympathique, très boisé. Les propriétaires sont très d'arrangement. Le bois est vraiment bon et son prix est imbattable.

We arrived late in the evening. The owner Richard met us and made us feel welcome immediately and personally guided us to our Rv spot for the night. The grounds were very impressive with how clean and organized it was. A high note is the fact that even though it was off the highway 417, it was so quiet for sleeping and was a wonderful experience with no traffic noise. The next day as we were leaving, Richards younger brother stopped to talk with us and gave us a brief history of the site. Great experience by far. Will definitely return. Doubt anyone would have a bad time there!

We had the best time at this campground. We went in April and it was closed for the winter, but Miguel and his brother had no problem on letting us in anyway. Miguel gave us a very warm welcome, he made us a big fire and gave us fresh eggs from his farm! I strongly recommend staying here, we will be forever grateful! ️

Spend last summer renting a lot for our trailer. It was one of the best experiences (1st time living in a trailer in the woods) of our lives, (my fiancé & I). This campground was a perfect fit for us.

They have a small farm with a few animals & park for the kids & basketball court & inground pool. The whole campground is surrounded by trees, the air is clean, its a relaxing and quiet campground.

Back area where you can have a private campground for camping in the weekend.
The owners are really nice people.
Its is super kid friendly yet its not loud, people are super respectful of their surroundings. A definite must for any couple, group of friends or just the family; if you ever come in the Vaudreuil/Hudson area.

J’ai écris aux propriétaires sans retour. Nous sommes allé visiter leur fermette, et sérieusement, les lapins sont dans un état pitoyable. Leur cages sont minuscules, à peine plus grandes que les lapins et le grillage en bas (sous leur pattes) tiennent seules dans l’air! La protection des animaux devrait allé y faire un tour.

Camping rustique dans une forêt magnifique. Quelques roulottes où ont pourrait y tourner un film d’horreur loll. La paix à quelques minutes de Montréal. Le personnel est vraiment amical et serviable.

Close to the city but nice wooded lots. Plenty of things for kids of all ages to do. Very well maintained.

Propriétaires consciencieux de leurs clients, propreté et salubrité hors pair, après plusieurs années d'occupation je n'ai jamais été déçu

Très déçus. C'est notre 4e fois et la dernière c'est certain. Gros besoin de nettoyage, autant du côté des saisonniers que du terrain. Les roulottes sont très sales. Même s'il y a des pins, les propriétaires ne nettoient pas leur équipement et ça traîne tout autour. À l'autre bout du terrain, c'est un dépotoir à ciel ouvert, collé sur l'autoroute 40 (frigidaire, chauffe-eau, muffler, vélos, boîte de camionnette, barbecue, laveuse etc). Ils devraient avoir un règlement car nous les passants se faisons demander de quelle année est notre équipement car certains campings refusent si plus de 10 ans.

Le camping laisse un peu a désirez au niveau saisonnier, beaucoup de roulotte à l'abandon. Petite ferme, jeux pour enfant de base. Piscines pas encore ouverte, (on est à l'ouverture), mais manque de rafraîchissement j'espère qu'il vont la repeindre. Partie voyageur beau terrain assez grand. Camping avec beaucoup de Pins mature. Pres autoroute on entend un peu le traffic. Bon Accueil, proprio gentil! Il est classé 3.

I thought it was a very good camping ground.only beef would be the showers.not much room to clean yourself properly. I will be back in the summer.

Great place to camp, owners are very helpful. A lot of campsites that are in the woods separate from the other campers as well if that’s your thing. Would definitely come back.

Went there this weekend of Sept 20 to 22 2019 for 2 nites. The site has very very mature tree's, in fact there is shade on almost all of the sites. What I find annoying where the oak tree's dropping the acorns and hitting the roof of the camper in the middle of the nite.but hey, that's nature letting you know she's still there.
Pro's:
fairly big, some what rustic if that's your taste. The owners are friendly and welcoming. Even the helpers where the same.for 10$ they gave enough wood for 2 nites, and he even gave us dry starter wood. For those complaining about the wood and delivery, maybe it was during hi season.we where there during low season. The site was not too far from Hwy 40. The bathrooms and showers where extremely clean for the age. The park was nice for the kids, and the small little farm was fun for the kids as well. There's a dwarf horse they let roam freely, very gentle.
Con's
camp site needs a bit of TLC, toilets and showers need a reno. I found there was a bit of sulfer smell from their water, but very little, we still drank bottled water. We found the camp to be some what tight when manouvering through the site, I can't imagine backing in when the park is at full capacity. We had some problems flushing our tanks at departure, seems their tanks maybe full from the season. Because of low season, the pools where closed, the restraunt was closed, etc.the site was running at bare minimum.
1 thing that bothered me the most was when I asked if there is reception at night, and was told they are open till 9pm, when we arrived at 730pm, the main office was closed. I'm glad we where able to find the owner from the seasonal's partying near by.

In all, its a nice site, close to home, I would go back for short weekends and at low season. Not sure how tenting would be like.

We reserved a site for one night at the very end of the season.
Even though we stated late arrival in the reservation, the check-in was closed. The showers were obviously not cleaned and due to the missing instructions we were not able to turn on the light in the shower.

All that made us leave the place, therefore I cannot recommend this place.

72$ for 1 camping spot without service (no water no electricity) for 2 tents and 3 adults.
72$ for only 1 night in case your wondering.
25$ for wood.

Over priced by a long shot. They advertise 36 for a camping spot.

Not going back here.

Beau camping familial, tranquille la plupart du temps (le samedi soir il y a des activités comme du bingo ou des soirées dansantes et ça peut être bruyant). Notre terrain était grand et intime et nous avons beaucoup aimé la piscine.

My family and I camped here and were blown away by the friendliness/hospitality. Very accomodating, family friendly and you can tell that the owners take pride in the service they provide. Very clean compared to most campgrounds we've been to. Another added bonus was that the owner is bilingual and spoke great English. My wife and I both agreed that we would go back again.

My stay was amazing. The owner was great for tuning our location for our situation so that we could stay up later without disturbing others.

The location is great, with the perfect mix of trees and open areas to make sure your tent doens't cook constantly.
There isn't an insane amount of mosquitoes, which for me is big. When I was there, I barely got bit or thought about their presence.
The group site is amazing.
The woods aren't overrun with poison Ivy so you felt a little more comfortable walking around.

We used to go to sandbanks but this is so much better. There's actual bathrooms with sinks instead of latrines, the owners are kind and so are the people staying. Great sense of community. The value for wood is great as well. We lasted 2 days (morning and night fires) on 25$ worth of wood.

Lots of racoons however, and it ended up waking up during the night my partner as we were very close to a wooded area. If you cover your cooler and put your garbage away there's no issues.

Great place. Loved it. Could not recommend more.

This is a family run campsite. They are so warm and friendly and very family oriented. Had a great stay!

Nous avons réservé notre séjour en fonction de plusieurs facteurs: activité sur le site, piscine et avoir un beau "spot " pour voir les feux de la St Jean.

Nous avons réservé d'avance pour avoir tout ses éléments et nous avons même pris la peine de téléphoner pour s'assurer de sélectionner les bons terrains.

Sur le site internet, la camping Daoust parle d'un endroit familiale avec air de jeux, deux piscines, terrain de soccer, basket et casse croute ainsi qu'un dépanneur.

Lorsque nous sommes arrivés nous avons vite constaté que les piscines ne fonctionnaient pas correctement. La piscine était verte, l'eau était stagnante et évidemment personne ne se baignait. Mon mari s'y connait en piscine il a voulu aider le propriétaire. Il est aller le voir en lui posant des questions et essayer de l'aider à préparer les piscines rapidement. Aussitôt le propriétaire a pris cela pour une attaque et a dit a mon mari: " c{sont le pollen ainsi que les algues qui font cette couleur. Pis la piscine n'est pas stagnante la preuve ouvre lecumoir met ta graine dedans tu vas voir ça suce en masse "}
On repassera pour la politesse et les explications que j'ai du faire a mes enfants qui étaient estomaqué!
Le lendemain aucune amélioration, les piscines étaient parfaite selon eux: vite les vaginites!

Les installations sont désuètes, les animaux de la fermette mangent de la poutine, les toilettes sanitaires sont assez sales. Et le casse croute et le dépanneur sont inexistants (fermer définitivement)

Les activités de la St jean,
Ils avaient prévu une parade, une danse et un feu d'artifice.

La parade était composé de 3 cars de golf, 2 trottinettes électriques.
La danse était composé. De 5 personnes
Et le feu d'artifice (on se rappel ici qu'on voulait le voir de notre terrain). Ben on a rien vu a cause des arbres matures

Conseil d'amis.amenez de la boisson pour oublier votre séjour! Tant qu'à depenser vos sous pour aller la.j'ai un stationnement chez moi ou je peux vous offrir les même service

Deuxième expérience à ce camping. Dès qu'on n'ait arrivé on a été accueilli d'un air froid par la propriétaire. On dirait qu'on n'était vraiment pas la bienvenue. Son mari était très impoli envers nous juste parce qu'on ne voulez pas de son bois. Attention le coups classique il vous fais payer 50$ pour quelque bûche qu'il avait déjà mit sur le terrain pour inciter les gens à acheter. On n'avait amené notre bois juste assez pour une nuit. La majorité des terrains son vraiment insalubre. C'est bien la dernière fois qu'on remet les pied à cet endroit. Sincèrement, pour le prix vous êtes mieux d'aller à voyageur à 22 minutes de là!

J'ai apprécié la petite ferme sur place: poules, lapins, chèvres, canards, cheval, âne. Il y a même un poney qui est laisser libre et qui se promène de terrain à terrain! Il y a également une piscine, un casse-croûte et un terrain de volleyball. Pour ce qui est des douches et toilettes, elles ne sont pas très propres. Aussi, les terrains de camping sont trop rapprochés et manquent d'intimité. Quelques arbres ou arbustes auraient été appréciés. Du bois pour le feu est disponible et la livraison jusqu'au terrain est incluse. Des activités telles que pétanque, karaoké et souper spaghetti sont organisées. Finalement, le personnel aurait avantage à être plus sympathique.
