This is a true hidden gem! Absolutely stunning (empty!) sandy beach on a beautiful lake. Great boat launch. The campsite facilities are impeccably maintained and washrooms were cleaned constantly and always clean. It was quiet, and the 10pm curfew was strictly enforced. We were in a campsite for tents (there are only 6) and it was large, flat, spotless, and relatively private. The only improvement they could make: a small store on site with basics like ice, milk, etc.as Matagami is 30km away! No safe drinking water on site. Make this your next camping vacation!

Un endroit unique au Québec avec une plage de sable fin d'au moins 2 km. Le camping est bien entretenu. Les terrains sont grands et offrent une belle intimité. Le lac Matagami offre des couchers de soleil exceptionnels.
