Canadel is one of my favorite vendors to sell. The product is amazing and has so many beautiful choices. So much that I am now a proud owner of a Canadel dining set.

We are disappointed in our Canadel dining table and chairs we ordered through a furniture dealer in Edmond OK. We designed the set online and when we took delivery, we had immediate concerns. After giving ourselves about a month to see if we could get used to it-we contacted the Edmond store with our thoughts. The tabletop we saw in-store was a solid color and on the table we received there is a glaring contrast between a much darker stain on one strip of wood and the rest of the tabletop. This is not what we expected in fine furniture and would not have purchased this table if it would have been in the showroom. Overall, it does not look like a high end tabletop.
The chairs collide with each other and the pedestal when the center leaf is not added. We wanted a table that was functional with or without the extra leaf. It is apparent that the chairs are too large for the table. After communication with the Edmond store, we were told they would contact Canadel and see what they would do. The proposal we were told from Canadel was to sell us legs for the table for $275.00. This table was meant to be enjoyed throughout our retirement years and passed on to family. It's amazing you can purchase a $40 product from Amazon and exchange it.no questions asked, but when you purchase a Canadel dining set for $4000-you're stuck with a product you don't like.

We purchased a Canadel loft table with two chairs and cushioned bench. The quality is outstanding and it looks fantastic. We have a hard time finding the the size we needed for our space and the color we wanted. Wasted a lot of time in and out of stores searching. With this set we were able to customize for shape, size, wood color, cushion color, legs, etc. If you want a table, save yourself the time and start here.

THIS SET IS NOT SOLID BIRCHWOOD, AND COLORS ARE NOT WHAT THEY SELL YOU. THIS IS BIRCHWOOD VENEER, WITH USB BOARD UNDERNEITH THE VENEER. THEY WERE DISHONEST AND TOLD ME THIS SET WAS SOLID BIRCHWOOD. ONE OF MY DRAWERS CHIPPED, AND USB BOARD IS UNDERNEITH THE VENEER. TOP OF THE BUFFETT HAS HOLES FOR THE GLASS AND YOU CAN SEE USB BOARD. I CAN POINT OUT MANY MORE PIECES OF THIS FURNITRE, THAT IT IS NOT SOLID BIRCHWOOD. I FEEL LIKE I WAS TAKEN TO THE CLEANERS FOR WHAT THEY CHARGED ME.

HIS SAMPLE WAS NOT SAME COLOR AS WOODCHUCKS STORE SAMPLE. MY TABLE SET IS MORE WHITE AND NOT GRAY. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN ADVISED TO ME BEFORE PLACING THE ORDER THAT THE COLOR WOULD BE MORE WHITE. We purchased the downtown Canadel set from a dealer here at Woodchucks furniture in Florida. We expected this to be the best furniture considering the price we paid and wait time to get it which was 10 weeks.
We ordered furniture based on Woodchucks Canadel wood sample color 90M in their store. We expected the set would come in all gray on the table, 6 chairs, buffett and bar stools. Our delivery guys said colors didn't look gray either from woodchucks when they got to my house.
Woodchucks store manager Brad came to our house and Candel dealer Doug came another time to try to help? Their sample color 90M Canadel Rep Doug brought to my house was not the same color as the one in as 90M from Woodchucks.
I went and picked up Woodchuck's canadel wood sample 90M to check the colors and brought it back to them myself.
Were were told from Sandra at Canadel their sample is a white with black stain? What? Sales didnt advise me this at Woodchuck's. Color #90. Definitely not the same as the sample in my photos from Woodchuck's.
The table has unfinished stain on top with white legs.
The buffet is a tan grayish color. Doesn't match the table.
Bar stools and 6 chairs have all white legs.
We ordered the entire diningroom set and bar stools expecting it to be the gray not white.

Wonderful company to work with! So many options for different styles/sizes of tables as well as chair and stool options. The on-line design program really helps to visualize what the table options you can select from and how the table/chairs/stools will look like.

I can’t praise enough the quality and beauty of Canadel furniture. And, their customer service is number one. We love that we could customize our furniture to suit our decorating. AND, the furniture is so solidly built, we don’t worry when our two-year old grandson climbs onto our barstools. Canadel isn’t inexpensive, but the quality makes it a bargain.

The new furniture and a couple of area rugs have Totally Transformed our Dining Room.

We love the exact precision that the upholstered chairs reflect. I even bought some of the material to redo the piano bench that is near our dining area.

The buffet and hutch and the colour accent we chose for the buffet works perfectly with the upholstered chairs, and the area rugs we added.

We eat most of our dinners out here, so it will get the use it deserves!

We also bought and really enjoy the Gourmet Island we bought. It has also transformed our kitchen with its look, and its functionality. Love the heavy duty caster wheels we decided to go with. Wheel it here, wheel it there, wherever the mood or job requires.

Cramped kitchen cabinets are not cramped any more with the extra storage the Gourmet Island has provided. Much more economical than a kitchen redo!

J’ai acheté une table en verre et 4 chaises.
La table avait quelques petits défauts aux pattes et ont été réparés. Par contre, les chaises ont été un vrai cauchemar. À la première livraison, 3 chaises sur 4 étaient inacceptables. Coutures mal faites; problème avec le tissus. On a repris les chaises. À la deuxième livraison, 2 chaises sur 3 ont encore des problèmes, encore les coutures et manque de rembourrage. On revient les chercher. Troisième livraison, 1 chaise a des plis au dos de la chaise. On me dit que c’est normal qu’il y ait des plis à cet endroit! Ironiquement, on en retrouve sur aucune des 3 autres chaises. Dans mon livre à moi, si je paye $400 pour une chaise, je m’attends à ce qu’elle n’ait pas de défauts. Donc, avant d’acheter ce type de meuble chez Canadel, pensez-y bien.

Des meubles de qualité, et leur service à la clientèle est super! Ils répondent vite et sont très gentils et là pour aider! On aime encourager une bonne compagnie locale! Je recommande!

Tres décevant comme compagnie! J'ai depensé plus de 6000 $ pour un mobilier de cuisine. La qualité est très médiocre, la table possède plusieurs défauts de fabrication apparents et il n'y a aucune étiquetage concernant le matériel des chaises utilisées (l'étiquetage est obligatoire) et de leur entretien recommandé. Nous aurions aimé savoir le type de matériel des chaises et un pamphlet expliquant le bon entretien et usage pour les préserver longtemps. Nous n'avons reçu aucune documentation à cet effet ni par écrit et ni par téléphone. De plus, le service à la clientèle est pauvre, manque de professionnalisme et ne respecte pas le client. Les membres du personnel ne connaissent pas leurs produits, sont complètement désorganisés, et n'existe que pour le profit et non pour la satisfaction du client et de la qualité. C'est vraiment dommage, je ne recommande pas cette compagnie et c'est la dernière expérience avec eux pour moi et ma famille!

Amazing friendly and professional service from Jesse at the Canadel store on Mountain Road in Moncton, New Brunswick. The furniture ordered arrived sooner than expected, the scheduled delivery arrived exactly on time and the quality of the work is exceptional. I definitely recommend!

It is true - you get what you pay for. I purchased my table 20 years ago. Not only does Canadel still make quality furniture but they stand behind what they make. After I moved I needed a small joiner piece for my table which must have broken off in my move. I sent customer service some pics of the table and they sent 2 types of joiners (just in case) and the color matched perfectly. THEY DID NOT CHARGE ME FOR THE PIECES OR FOR SHIPPING! The customer service is incredible.

I bought bar stools and a dining table set 21 years ago. After 21 years, we had to replace the plastic slides at the bottom of the chair, because they were squeaky. Our chairs look like new even after 21 years. My daughter used to pull herself up by grabbing on the bar stool chair when she was a toddler, and the chairs were very tall, and they never tipped over. I'm not quite sure how to describe the quality of the chairs, because they are truly an heirloom. You'd expect some sign of wear after 21 years, but honestly, you could put these in a showroom today and think they were brand new. When we built our new house three years ago, we bought an entertainment center and two side tables, and they are absolutely gorgeous. I'm sure in 20 years I'll be leaving another review about the quality of your furniture!

I purchased a dining room set July 2017. Quickly noticed the table surface scratches and dents quite easily. Then a few weeks ago an arm from one of the chairs came loose from it’s back. Today another chairs leg snapped and broke off completely. The only way Canadel can fix these is to send it back to them all the way to Canada at my expense. This will unfortunately be my last Canadel purchase.

I ordered a custom made Canadel dining set from a store in NJ. I customized my dining room by picking everything myself.table size, pedestal style, colors, fabrics, legs, finish, etc. And it was priced less than sets in a box from China. My set is beautiful! It's made out of solid birch wood and has a special finish to protect from food and drink damage. I ordered the antique finish to hide any dents & dings that my kids might cause, and I couldn't be happier.

LOVE this company, their quality is unparalleled, solid wood, quality construction, all custom. A friend of mine had a set for 20 years and sold it for what she paid for it. It’s the best value you can find since you will NEVER have to replace it (unless your style changes, then sell it or better yet, gift it to a family member!) Truly heirloom quality.

I wish I had checked some reviews before my purchase of a Canadel Loft dining room set. While I love how the set looks, within the first year I had problems with my table surface flaking. I brought the issue to the company & they said it was not their problem and I must have been responsible for the issue. I suggested that an imperfection during manufacture could have been responsible which they said was impossible without explaining why. Canadel would not investigate the issue beyond speculating that I must have done something based on the pictures I provided. As a caution for anyone considering a purchase, there is no warranty once the item is in your home.

I have owned a customized Canadel Kitchen Table with 4 chairs for going on to 18 years. Our set has stood the test of time having undergone multiple moves, sitting in storage, and many years of use. It still looks like new! I love it and know my family will enjoy it for many years to come. A great product and highly recommended no matter what your dining needs may be. We bought a glass top set with frosted glass as it best fit the look of our space. Product came in SO fast and it’s beautiful - and we entertain around it regularly! With the frosted glass I never see any fingerprints and only have to clean up greasy spots. It was so much fun to pick exactly what we wanted for our home!

Just received my new Canadel Dining set and buffet. I am thrilled. I ordered through Royal Furniture (Port Jervis, NY) and they were great to deal with. Since I used "u-design" & hadn't actually seen the set in person, I was a little nervous but it came out perfect! This is the third Canadel dining set I've owned & the quality and design just keeps getting better!

We're a retailer for Canadel in Memphis, TN and absolutely love their product. It arrives well packaged and easy to assemble for our customers. They love the catalyzed finish on the product allowing for easy cleanup and UV protection, and how some of the tables provide a space for self storing leaves. They also provide a website where you can design your own tables/chairs/stools/benches/buffets and see what it looks like before you buy it. At Furniturelandsouth I have loved selling canadel. We show a vast variety of all of Canadel’s collections and every piece comes out clean and sharp.
Designing each piece is very easy with 9 million options. It is a well run company and I get great feedback from customers on it every week.

The finish is absolutely horrible! We bought a table, chairs, and buffet. The color is great, but finish is rough in spots, and gives a gray hue in places. Just awful!

First set was repaired but still poor. The whole set and buffet was returned and new items ordered and delivered. This furniture was better but still have many imperfections that is still seen. One chair had to be replaced.

This set was expensive and we wanted to buy well made furniture. We could have bought China made at half the cost and it would be better.

Maybe Canadel was once good, but do not buy from this company! Just awful!

As a interior designer, when I have a client that needs dining furniture, weather it is formal or casual, I usually go to Canadel first. Not only am I impressed with the quality, but 99% of the time, I can make the the table fit just about any look I am trying to achieve for my client. I can get any look from coastal, to rustic to contemporary. Recently, I had a client that was remodeling her whole home. It was a massive undertaking. She did everything right down to custom made light fixtures. She thought it would be a challenge to get an upscale coastal look in the exact size that she needed. Of course, I turned to Canadel. We ended up with a Champlain table and chairs done in a driftwood like finish. It was set against a bay window with view of the Gulf. Needless to say, with all of the furniture that she purchased, this truly was the statement room. Out of all the furniture in her home, this was really the show stopper.
