1. She spoke only French.
2. She should be polite to the customer, by saying things like “excuse me, you’re doing it wrong, let me show you how it’s done” without making the customer feel stupid!

This Cavendish Canadian Tire has the worst curbside pick up. I ordered tires and received confirmation to pick up; I chose curbside pick up when I did my purchase online. Once arrived at the store, I chose curbside pick up again by clicking on my confirmation email, and clicked on the "I AM HERE" button. I went through the process of inputing where my parking number is and my phone number. 30 minutes, nothing. Went in the store. They did not even know I was waiting. They claimed I supposed to call the number on the sign at my parking spot. It clearly stated that I call if I NEED assistance. I did not know their system is not working, how would I know. Poor technology in place. And they did not even know where my tires are. I waited another 30 minutes. They need to check my emails, and said had to check my invoice (they could not see my purchase order nor if I had paid. Are they really ready to do online selling?) and they looked all over the place. At the end, I pushed the tires outside the store BY MYSELF. WHAT A "GREAT" CURBSIDE PICK UP! NOT! I suggest you if you wait longer than 5 minutes and your item is not moving along (it will show on your phone the progress page) Go straight to the manager and be a Karen. Don't waste your time waiting outside. They clearly don't know what they are doing, poor service and completely failed system.

Terrible management! If you spent a long time in the store trying to find what you're looking for, they will open your purse and accuse you of shoplifting. My family and I are boycotting this store forever

Terrible quality, I bought an expensive life jacket for my little kid, and it got holes in it from the first use, it's garbage products.
Please if you care about your kids and loved ones, don't buy from here!

I had emergency and this guys rip my pocket off. This hot summer my air conditioning broke and went to CT to get check. I will be travelling next day and it will be very hot without air conditioner so I went to CT to get check. I paid 300 plus for nothing after few days my air conditioning was down again. I never call them coz I will be selling my car. I won’t be recommending them to anyone. They will just do dirty work and rip you off!

Ordered a Hoover yesterday which was dropped down from $500 to $200. They emailed me today saying they dont have it in stock even though it was there yesterday and it was cancelled. I call customer service and they asked me to check with store since special is no longer offered today and ended yesterday. I tried to call the store and the person who answered started laughing and said we have one but we dont know where it is. I asked them to guarantee the item untill they receive more or ship it to me jnstead. So she says you can go to laval and buy it for $300 if you want and started laughing again like its no big deal. So i dont have the item or any promise of getting and i lost the deal. This is probably the worst customer service experience i ever had.

Update to your reply: i i allready called and they told me that they cant do anything and to call the store which i did but still no one helped me.

Well organized store, with almost everything you wish to buy that is related to construction, gardening, house electricity supplies, and even for out side, the prices in general are reasonable, and offers are very smart, the employes are so welcoming and very helpful, good place to shop at

Terrible staff. They seem to get joy out of telling customers how not to use the self-checkout but will not tell you or answer any questions about how to use it.

Il ne s'agit que de mon opinion mais c'est assez la honte le centre auto de ce Canadian Tire. Premièrement, ils ont très peu de réel service client. En plus de ne pas pouvoir changer mes pneus pour raison que jaurai perdu la clé pour les pneus, ils mentent. Le Canadien tire de Montréal nord en a bien été capable contrairement a eux. Il fallait simplement utiliser l'outil qu'ils vendent en magasin pour cela. Les deux gérants (Montréal nord/ St Laurent) se sont bien pris la tête au téléphone devant moi. Au final le propriété de Canadian tire St Laurent n'avait tout simplement pas envie d'aider ni de trouver une solution. Donc le ton est noté. Aucune aide au client.

Malgré tout j'y suis retourné pour un changement d'huile. A la moindre occasion ils essayent de te rajouter des choses/détails (essuie glace défaillant, filtre air) a la facture inutile. Heureusement que j'ai vérifié car ils n'attendent même pas ton consentement et t'informe sans confirmé qu'ils l'ajoutent a la facture. J'ai dû indiquer au propriétaire qu'il m'avait effectivement donné l'information sur mon filtre air mais que je ne lui avait aucunement donné l'autorisation de le changer. Ah la ça pose problème. C'est quoi ce comportement.
En plus de nous prendre vraiment pour des idiots, j'ai été témoins d'un couple avant moi qui vivait une situation similaire mais pour un changement de pièce dans leur auto sans qu'ils aient donné leur consentement. Le propriétaire nassumait pas et demandait au couple de revenir demain pour parler au technicien. Me semble que c'est pas mal plus a toi de gérer ce genre de situation. Sans qui plus est avoir un ton vraiment condescendant avec ce couple qui demandait des explications, bien normale au vue de la situation.

C'est tout simplement honteux. J'essaye au maximum de ne pas venir a ce garage. Entre malhonnêteté, mensonges et irrespect, ça ne vaut pas la peine.

Sports department, a manager and mechanics are great, garage head not so much. Went for a flat on my bike and the garage mechanics let me park it there, I was later yelled at by the department head, oh well. Sports department came to take the info but unfortunately they where unable to help out lacking the tire tube model but I believe it was a manager who referred me to Sports Experts in the same mall who where able to fix my flat. There efforts and referral saved me a 90 minute walk with bike in tow during a heat wave, that's great.

Yesterday 28/08/20, My experience was awful, I was looking for a tire (local brand) and the rep told me that 1 unit cost almost the equivalent of the branded ones almost $ 150 each, I showed him the website (the price was almost $80 for my tire size) and he said that every store has its own policy, I was forced to go to another store in Laval to buy it.the day after I called the same store (where the guy told me the highest price) I asked the rep if he was working yesterday, he said No, and I asked also about the tire, he gave me the internet price (almost $80).

I was frustrated and I filled a complain about that.
I was sure that 1st Guy descriminated me because of my roots.
I will never go to this store, never never, I never expected to be treated like that.
It was not a mistake, it was intentional.
Home Hardware and Costco are just close to me.

Honestly am so so so grateful for going there and bringing my car! I honestly went to this horrible garage to where just because i was a female, they stole alot of money from me and replaced my parts with fake parts and left my car at a horrible state. There is this arab boy, with long curly tied up hair, very very very respectful and helpful boy I specifically want to thank him for the service of my car. I been going there for 5 years for repair and I never regretted since. That boy needs a raise, honestly the best person to go to and whatever he says, I will listen as He tells me what's the best thing i should do because i have no idea about cars. I told my niece to bring her car there too! EXCELLENT SERVICE

Bad service and the manager Abdallah I think he’s Moroccan using high tone, bad words in the arabic language showing disrespect to client’s though I’m a regular customer to this branch, I will never recommend this location to any especially no manager or supervisor bothered him self to follow up on this issue

The staff is friendly and the store itself is relatively clean.
The issue I've had as well as others seems to be with the garage at this location. Personally, I've had service here once for a tire change. I reserved a set of tires around noon and showed up around 5: 30-6pm to pick them up. They said they could install them right away and was told it would be done in an hour. Two hours later, I was still left waiting.

Very poor customer service.employees hide when they see you looking for an item. I never had a good experience at any canadian tire location.they just don't care to help you find your item

Pire Canadian tire que j'ai vu, vaut mieux faire 10 min de plus et aller voir un autre Canadian tire. Directeur pense qu'à son argent et ses ventes. Aucune prise en charge des clients. Toute excuse est bonne pour ne pas rembourser le client.

I took my girlfriend's car to get fixed after breaking the steering wheel line. They said the car was fixed by REPLACING some pieces, also shown that way in the bill, which came to around $780. Only few months later we had a bad steering wheel fluid leaking just by turning on the car. I took the car to another Canadian tire this time (at Place Versailles), where I was told that the car was just repaired the first time, that some pieces were not replaced. I talked to the manager at the moment and when I told him that the car was first "fixed" at another canadian tire he got frozen. After all the talking, they offered me a discount of $219.90. And as I needed the car functioning again. I asked them to repair it, for which I had to pay another $290. Did I end up happy even though they offered me a discount? NO. I ended up spending around $1k in the car + the towing + steering wheel liquid that I had to buy + a lot of time + frustration

Absolutely disappointed with the lousy service I’ve received this season. I came in about two weeks ago (on a Tuesday) to get my tires and daytime running lights changed. To begin with, I couldn’t even get the Garage on the phone. I was always transferred to the Service à la Clientèle and the lady there wasn’t helpful at all either. Anyways, i figured its the busy season and the phone wasn’t their priority. I still brought in my car for an overnight stay and clearly explained that I needed both my tires and lights changed. The following day (Wednesday) I get a call that my car is ready but when I show up, my lights haven’t been changed. It was the same man who served me the previous day and he “wasn’t sure” why the lights weren’t changed and that I have to leave it overnight again. And so I do. Next day (Thursday) I get a voicemail from CT saying that all my lights are fine and none need replacement. I call them back and ask them to double check because i know my DLRs aren’t working but I never got a call back. I call them again on Friday, and the tech finally confirmed that my light wasn’t working but to replace it, i’d have to wait a week for the part and it would cost about 150$ - which is beyond ridiculous. When I get there on Friday, I try to explain for about 10mins to not one, but TWO techs that my DLRs aren’t functioning and none of them understand what I mean, they look at me like I’m talking nonsense and fiddle around my dashboard pointlessly. This makes me wonder where does CT finds their techs and if they’re even qualified. I had to go to my dealership where they instantly saw that both my DLRs were burnt and replaced them immediately! If CT techs cannot even find a burnt light, how can I trust that they can properly change my tires? I’m really disappointed as this was my main car shop but if you’re reading this, avoid this garage at all cost!

Poor service today. I verified the product inventory online before going to the store, (a folding tray table), 8 in stock. When I got to the store, I couldn’t find the product myself. I again verified on the store’s computer that it was in stock. (8). I asked a clerk for help, I showed him a print out of exactly what I was looking for. He verified that indeed there were 8 in stock, he asked me to wait while he went to look for it in the back. When he came back he said he couldn’t find it. I then asked if anyone in the store might know where it was? His answer, “maybe the manager”. I asked him to call the manager, then he told me, “no, he is on break”. I understand everyone takes a break, but come on Canadian Tire only 1 person in the store might know where to find things! Train your staff to be more helpful. I left the store.

Tout ce qu'il vous faut pour la maison le jardin, la voiture, les sports et les loisirs. Au coeur de la ville saint laurent proche des autoroutes et du quartier industriel c'est un magasin qui va sans aucun doute satisfaire les besoins de tous les membres de votre famille sans exception.

Only automatic cashes were open. I find these very frustrating to use and nearly left everything in the store after the machine stopped working. I would rather wait in line to be served by a human than have to use those stupid machines.

J’aimerais souligner mon passage chez canadian tire de ville saint Laurent celui de côté vertu nombre de fois j’ai été extrêmement satisfait par un personnel d’une droiture inégalable près à vous servir à n’importe quel moment de plus aujourd’hui le directeur en lui même s’est arrêté de travailler pour m’orienter et même s’est donné la peine d’aller à son ordinateur pour rechercher un produit il s’est montré d’une compétence inégalable et d’un savoir faire irréprochable près à aider autrui merci monsieur pour tout le travail et l’effort que vous faites

J'ai appelé aujourd'hui pour le centre auto je me suis faite mettre en entente 30 minutes sans jamais me faire répondre. Le commis mi en attente 5 fois. Après 30 minutes t'attente j'ai raccroché. Et appeler a Laval pour un délais de 3 minutes d'attente pour me répondre. Canadien tire ville - st- Laurent pu jamais.
