They are replacing cashiers with self-checkout but with limited working machines so you have to wait in line even longer. Only two live cashiers. Descending grade. Hard time finding in stock items even with employee assistance. You can only be bad at one thing, guys, and expect to get away with it.

Online order picked up. No problem with staff who assisted in lifting a large heavy box in my vehicle.

Do not shop at any Canadian Tire. They have a history of assaulting people and discriminating against people. It has been going on for years, across Canada. There are way better and cheaper options, local. Like Home hardware, Lowes, Home Depot. None of those places assault or discriminate against their paying customers.

Les nouveaux étiquettes de prix sont intelligent. Tu peux aller dans l'application Canadian Tire et peser l'option "Afficher sur la tablette" et il a une lumière qui clignote sur le produit vous chercher. Ça va bien dans les ranger où il a plein de produits.

Toujours un excellent service à cet endroit que ce soit sur le plancher, à la caisse ou au service à la clientèle pour un retour. Lorsqu'un produit est en solde, les quantités disponibles répondent à la demande. Les allées sont propres et habituellement bien dégagées. Expérience magasinage positive.

I purchased a food chopper, KitchenAid, which was defective, it was simply not working. I returned it the next day with my receipt, they refused to refund because the box was simply opened. They could only give me a store card and although, on the receipt it says they refund with the receipt and if the item is in its original condition they do not mention that by original condition they mean sealed box so you can’t even try the item to see if it works or not. I got so scared of their nonsense return policy that I decided to also return a stationary bike that I had purchased at the same time and luckily had not touched the box yet! The customer service representative was so adamant about not refunding my money on a defective item and said if we refund every time an item is opened we will go bankrupt! Well they completely lost me as customer forever!

Went to get a replacement tire. They didn’t have it in stock.the clerk Eliane Francoeur phoned two other stores to find one for me. Much appreciated

My go to location when the closest store is out of stock on an item. Staff is very attentive and helpful since they have full shelves and isles.

I recently had the unfortunate displeasure of visiting this Canadian tire, and my experience there left me utterly disgusted and outraged. As I approached the checkout counter to purchase my items, an employee and a security guard approached me, and without any prior indication or reasonable suspicion, the security guard rudely accused me of theft. They demanded that I let them go through my purse in front of other customers. They went through all my things, and after they realized I didn’t steal anything, they were unapologetic for falsely accusing me. I left this Canadian tire feeling utterly humiliated, angry, and deeply disappointed. I cannot express enough how disheartening it is to think that a store that claims to value its customers could be so callous and unjust in their treatment.

So looking for Perfect Match paint. This Canadian Tire is a bit messy, was not able to find the right paint code. Gave up, will try another store.

I get most of my kitchen as well as our garage tools here. A great place to get plants as well. I call it my Toys r Us adult version! Lol

To be honest, this was the worst client service I ever received. I had an appointment at 10h with the car repairs. They only started working on my car 1h later, as they forgot about it and misplace the paperwork. They took 45min to do a job that takes 15min max to do. At first they offered a discount because of the delays, but changed their minds and didn't offer it after all. Really disappointed. I will not go back.

Cette évaluation n'est pas pour le magasin mais bien pour le garage. Énorme manque de professionnalisme, travaux exécutés sans être demandés. Ne pas ce référer au gérant car celui-ci manque énormément de jugement, surtout si vous êtes une jeune femme (car vous serez classé dans le groupe de celles qui ne connaissent pas les véhicules). Vous serez vue comme une source d'argent facile.

Les allées sont toujours blocquer par des palettes. Impossible de circuler. Le service a la clientèle est absent. Tout ca cest bien Canadian Tire depuis des années.

Je suis allé une première fois au garage, tout s'est bien passé mais je me suis aperçu par la suite qu'une pièce a été endommagée dans le processus. J'ai appelé la directrice générale qui m'a demandé de voir le directeur du garage le lendemain. Surprise il était en congé! J'ai dû reexpliqué la situation au comptoir et on m'a répondu dans un premier temps que si j'avais une voiture "normale" (soit non européenne) je n'aurais pas eu ce problème. Dans un deuxième temps le chef d'atelier m'a directement insulté devant le staff et les clients. La personne au service s'est excusé pour lui mais le mal est fait. Plus jamais je ne retournerai dans ce garage et je ne recommande à quiconque d'y mettre les pieds.

Pas services tu parle a une personne et il dis toutes a c'est pas mont department tu leur demande ok mes appelle moi quelqu'un qui peux m'aider j'ai pas temps pour sa!

Je trouve ce Canadian tire toujours bien organisé et bien rangé. On y trouve de tout, comme tous les autres Canadian tire. Les produits en vente sont généralement disponibles et clairement affichés. Les employés sont sympathiques et veulent aider. En période de covid-19, il est possible de commander en ligne et aller chercher votre commande au magasin de votre choix en attendant dans votre voiture.

If you choose to visit Canadian Tire for their great sales on tires, it is perfectly fine to also get those tires installed at the same time.

That being said, be ready to constantly dodge needless extra fees.
They will attempt to assess if you are gullible enough to swindle, and this treatment will be much more severe if you are young or a women.

First, call to inquire about the price of installation if the tires are purchased at Canadian tire.

I ask at the counter upon picking them up, and I was quoted 20$ more than the number told to me on the phone. When I mentioned this discrepancy they acted like they had not understood me earlier, and that if the tires were indeed from Canadian Tire and that they would be the price I had been quoted on the phone.

Secondly, all of their extra fee questions will be posed in a very particular way, for example: "So we'll fill your tires with Nitrogen then? ", or "And your car will need an alignment, so the total will come to. ". All of these extra fees can be easily avoided, if you already know not to trust this company.

Thirdly, once your car if ready they will try and trick you into thinking your car is dangerous and undrivable without their intervention, and a hefty pricetag.

They will rattle off a list of "issues" with your car that they think you won't understand, things that would be hard to tell had been fixed.
Often it becomes obvious that they have not even inspected the car, as they did not mention my broken windshield or broken parking break is their "assessment".

I had been told previously at Canadian Tire that I would have to pay 900$ just to make the car drivable after being it in your a flat tire.
When I refused they said I could not tow my car away because one of its wheels was already off and so the car was stuck there.upon searching their driveway I found my car in the same parking space to which I'd left it with all 4 tires still on.

Inform them that you have a mechanic and you will only be requiring the services you asked for. If you use these tips you may be able to avoid being swindled.

These policies are not the fault of the employees. Canadian Tire is just truly
a despicable company.

Je suis arrivé à 7: 30 pour faire un changement de pneus (4 pneus déjà sur rim). J’étais deuxième en file ce matin. Ils ont entré ma voiture dans le garage à 8: 30 et à 9: 30 rien n’avait encore été effectué sur mon véhicule. J’ai demandé qu’on me redonner mes clés et ma voiture, ce qui leur a pris une autre demi-heure. J’ai perdu deux heure et demi pour absolument rien. Je ne retournerai jamais là.

I've been to Canadian Tire numerous times, I really appreciate the employees who work at the customer service desk.
They were very patient, friendly, and spoke both English and French. So I just wanted to say thank you!

I just love Canadian Tire for its wide selections and specials. You can find quality products since forever as far as I can remember. You can not go wrong!

J'ai changé les pneus chez eux. Une semaine plus tard, je conduisais sur l'autoroute j'ai remarqué que l'auto n'est pas bien équilibré. J'ai contacté cette succursale ils ont dit qu'ils puissent régler ce problème sans aucun frais puisque toujours sous garantie. La surprise est que lorsque ils ont fait la balance ils m'ont chargé 60$+tax.

Je me suis rendu au Canadian Tire de la Carriere a Gatineau ce midi pour acheter 2 supports hydraulic pour fenetre pour mon Jeep. Un jeune home travail dans la rangé 10 et je lui demande ou je peux trouver cette piece. Il me repond (ses mots exact) "J' en ai aucune idée". J'ai cru qu'il allait s'imformer mais il replique "Peut etre dans la rangé 11 si non j'ai aucune idée" et il retourne a son travail de remplissage de tablettes. Durant cette periode difficile je comprend l' importance d'encourager nos commerces de la region (surtout Canadien), mais cette fois je vait commander sur Amazon.ca

Sometimes when I need help is really hard to find someone and most of the time the screens to verify prices or find items don't work.

Difficult to navigate in areas, because aisles were not clear. Some merchandise would be difficult to reach, if you are disabled. It really seems that the management is too lazy that there's lots of"projects" that are just abandoned by employees.
