The staff was more helpful than other Canadian Tire stores I've been to. Prices are high, but service is decent

Do not bring your vehicle to this store. Absolutely horrible. The way they talk to customers, appointments are not respected whatsoever. They kept my truck for over 48 hrs just for a plug in the tire. And when I called to ask if the truck was ready I was told that yes it would be ready in the evening after taking a taxi to go pick up my vehicle it was clear to see that they never even brought the vehicle into the garage. I am a small time contractor and used to shop alot at this store but they will never see a penny from me again. When I tried talking to them at the store to come to a understanding and resolve the issue all they did was try to overcharge me and then say they would give me a discount of 150$$. And when I told him I'm sorry but that's not to my satisfaction they told me they were going to throw me out of the store. Nearing Christmas I had to tell two employees that I had no work for them because the truck was in the shop. Not to mention that I lost a day of work that cost myself 1000$. It's not like I asked them to compenate me the 1000$ i just asked if we could come to a reasonable agreement. All i got was wasted time and money in taxi's going back and forth out of my pocket only to be told at 9pm that my vehicle was not ready. But when I call to confirm that the truck is ready they say yes on more then 1 occasion it will be ready. The staff is not nice and you can clearly see that they are not there for the customer's benefit and clearly for there benefits of the store. (Not to mention that when I said no give me back my vehicle I got it back with a new light on my dash. Unfortunately I went as far as asking for the store manager as well as the garage manager and they clearly did not care what I had to say. I said I was making a report to head office.they just laughed and said yes a email would be sent to the owner of the store it would just be redirected back to them to resolve the issue. And if I didn't like what they said well that was just to bad. So I guess not even the owner does not care. It's OK I have written this not because I am mad but because I strongly believe that a customer should not be treated like this and customer's should know about this this way they do not experience the same things that i did.have sent a copy of everything I have as well of my thoughts to ctv news consumer reports and am posting on social medial Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Let's let the public know.do yourself a favor do not go this garage. You will save yourself alot of frustration and not to mention money.

Price is good depending on what you're buying, never buy full price.

You can find a lot of stuff there!

The only tire appointment I could get here was way past the legal date we had to have out winter tires on. I drive every day for work so I had no choice but to go somewhere else. I had them changed and stored last season, so I had to come pick them up. It took these people more than two hours to take them out of storage. At the point of writing I still don’t have them, and every time I go to the counter I’m told “yeah, someone’s getting them now”. I was a customer here but I never will be again.

Half the time I come to pick up my in store order. No one is there and the door is locked. It’s happening too often.

*edit* new automated system is a good start, but they need a better system when it fails. The current process is just restart the system and it doesn’t seem like the employee is trained to do anything else. There is a now back up of 4 more customers waiting for this machine to work. There should be a manual override so customers can get their items.

I asked for break service on my car. I was told to come back in the morning for first come first serve. They offered the guy behind me an appointment. They spent a lot of time with the two me ahead of me but seemed to want to just get rid of me.

Avoid. They damaged my mags - it looks like they burnt them somehow, and they look terrible. Had terribly rude service from Leo. I reached out to Canadian tire customer service and finally got them to fix one of my mags which was damaged the worst.
The manager Patrick was very cool though, so thanks for that

The store has a lot of tools, but what disappointed me A LOT is that I asked for fluid for my manual transmission and the employee gave me the one for automatic. I asked to confirm the fluid was appropriate for my manual and she said yes, that we could go check, when we checked, she showed me her screen, pointing to the automatic, but I then showed her the other line where it mentioned the oil for manual. Had I not triple checked, I would have put automatic transmission fluid in my manual transmission and it would've caused great damage.

Edit: I called the number you asked me, but the employee simply said I could restate my complaint which I won't do because it's already here.

I was not satisfied with the service of garage, they broke one of the stud wheel on one tire and did not take the responsibility of their unprofessional work! Never recommend this garage and never come back to Canadien tire for changing the tires!

This place is really big and have lots of products. You can find almost anything you need for your home and also your gifts for the holidays.

It was such an awful experience changing the wheels in this Garage! Very unprofessionally they broke one of the stud wheel and told us it was not our mistake! While this occurred during changing the wheels by them and the wheel was correct at first! Never come back to This place! And do not recommend to anyone! Awful customer service as well!

Worst experience ever! I understand that it is a busy time of year and that is why I proceeded with curb side to avoid any headache and long lines.

Well well, was this a disappointment. I was better off going to the store and purchasing the items myself. The staff member hand no manners, did not verify that it was in fact the correct person picking up the order, and slammed my trunk closed then went about her business!

I have a better experience at the Saint Jacques location; staff are much friendlier and your order is processed within the estimated time given! I unfortunately could not shop that location as the items I wanted were sold out.

I will definitely rethink this location in the future!

Price at shelf, and online, was different than price at checkout. They didn't even call to do a price check, just said "the code is different". There are no arrows in the store and so people are very close to each other. On est encore dans un pandémie, il n'est pas fini. Ils n'y avaient même pas des personnes qui nettoyer les carts, outside or inside. Steer away from here.

Lots of everything, but it can be hard to find stuff that can be advertised, but did it in the store you are in. It can be hard to find staff for help. Some products are of very low quality and especial the super sales items.

(1) I bought a remote starter for my car at this place. The person at the garage desk assured me that it will work with my car. Based on his words, I did not keep the receipt. After a while, for the installation, I passed by another garage since they cost were very lower (Lebeau) (150$ vs. 30$). The technician told me the remote is not actually compatible with my car. I turned back to Canadian Tire to return it. I did not have the receipt but I provided the card number from which I had made the payment. They could not find the payment in their system! I have nothing to do with the remote (still have it). Some times you are unarmed but a little bit of trust could resolve the thing; Remote was untouched. (2) Did a tire change. They installed three new tires. The one in front-right could not hold the pressure. They fixed it (they did not charge me since it was installation error). After a while the other one in front the same issue. I brought the car to them, were supposed to fix it. It still has the problem. I also recognized the person had put 37 psi pressure in the back tires! It should be 32 for my car. That is just crazy! I have passed 3 times, they installed new tires and it is not still working. (3) I bought some pots, recently. I understood the cashier had charged me 4 times, while I had bought two of them. I have still the receipt for this, but I am not sure if I can turn back my money. I guess they will say, you bought four, except they have camera recordings for that day (24 August, 20: 34 pm).

Grand, propre, buen éclairer, les commis sont très serviable, caissières aussi. Il ne manque pratiquement rien quand il y a des spéciaux.

Avoid this place. My bad luck i visited here. Poor customer service and they don't have return policy and not even mention while purchasing or anywhere. They spoiled my $180.

The garage at Canadian Tire is really bad, manager on service have a bad attitude racist to immigrants.
The way I was spoke to was like I should not be here. We arrived at 9: 30am 23-May-2021.
I’ve been here since 7: 15am and it’s now 9: 15am an our car is not in for tire change yet.
The manager told me they have to past the appointments first then they will start working on walk in? I SAID WHAT DO YOU MEAN APPOINTMENTS? I asked the guy yesterday for an the said they don’t give appointments just come at 7: 30am tomorrow (24-May-2021).
I simply ask are we could have an appointment why we were not told that yesterday after standing in line for 30-mins, then was told that they now going to afternoon.
The manager of the service dept said he is the boss and could what he wants and he should take my car a leave, I ask if that his solution to bad communications from his employees!
I let him know am recording the conversations his attitude and tone changed.

I went to the cash and asked to the director of the store and once again attitude from the director of the store in lasalle

The director was worst then the manager in his attitude and body language his remarks was defensive.

9 times out of ten my bmo cards don't work in their terminals. What's the deal!? Anyone else has that issue?

They have it all, I love shopping for nothing at Canadian Tire, I love just roaming the isles with my wife lol. Peace out and Pay it forward everyone.

If your going there and your expecting help.well just go somewhere else because there no where to be found and when you do find them they practically run away or tell you an isle that isn't the right isle at all.then if you really do find what your looking for when you get to the cash every item will be priced different then what it says on the shelf.stick with Reno depot but not the lasalle one

I love Canadian Tire. This store is good for both car service, and tools and other items. Every spring I buy my flowers here, as they have the ones I like. Staff is always helpful, if at times difficult to find in peak hours. There are almost always carriages.

Voilà il n’est pas de mes habitudes de laisser des avis quand j'achète des trucs ou faire un service mais cette fois ci je trouve que c'est nécessaire après avoir fait ou passé par toutes les étapes.

Mon premier changement de huile chez Canadian tire Boulevard Angrignon, LaSalle, QC H8N 3E3, été le 29 mars 2021, bon ils ont fait leur travail avec le document à l'appui.
Avant de récupérer mon auto un agent m'a appelé en me disant si je veux changer les 2 filtres d'installations qui ne fonctionnent pas, j’ai répondu non pour l'instant.

J'ai récupéré mon auto, mais après quelques jours je découvre qu’au niveau du tableau de bord, du côté droit du volant, au niveau du filtre de l'air y a une partie ou un morceau qui est brisé, et ça n'existait pas avant mon service chez Canadian tire.

J'ai contacté le service auto de Canadian tire, puis un agent m'a orienté sur le directeur du service auto, Mr Maxim, il a vu la partie brisée et à donné son accord pour collaborer avec moi pour réparer la pièce cassée.

Après 2 jours Mr Maxime m'appelle en me disant qu'il ne trouve pas la pièce.j'ai lui dit que je vais voir avec mon concessionnaire, et c'est ce que j'ai fait et on a trouvé la pièce et même m'ont donné le prix puisque elle se vend en 2 morceau (package).

Bein en retournant pour voir le directeur Maxime…, en lui montrant la référence de la pièce et le prix que le concessionnaire de HYUNDAI m'a confié, alors Mr le directeur qui est censé de m’aider à résoudre mon problème comme il a dit la première foi, alors en voyant le prix de 400 pièces directement a répondu qu'il ne peut payer ce montant, sachant bien que cette pièce a été brisée par son mécanicien et pas par moi, mais quand l’argent est le seul objectif du commerçant, le client perd ses droits, a la fin la seule chose qui m’a proposé été d’appeler le bureau principal de Canadian tire (head office).

Apres cette histoire de négligence, j’ai du appeler le bureau principal, service de relations avec la clientèles pour leur expliquer ma situation, et poser plainte contre le mauvais service ou comportement que j’ai reçu de la part de leur agent dans la succursale. Malheureusement, ça fait quatre fois que je rappelle pour faire un suivi a ma plainte, mais toujours la même version de la boite vocale, ou je dois laisser un message et un représentant va prendre en charge ma plainte, puis va me rappeler depuis un mois de ça.

Alors la question qui se pose, de quel service à la clientèle et la priorité du client parlez-vous?

This was the last time I am buying from Canadian Tire. Dishonest business practices. I bought a bike online and turns out the special warranty is an only repair warranty. Now I'm stuck with a bike too tall for me.

6 hours to just change the tires. I have the appointment at first hour, no one else was inline. And still they took my car 5 hours later. Unbelievable. Their mistake: they didn't knew I had an appointment they assumed without asking that I came with no appointment. Very poor service.

Try to avoid this place, very rude customer service and they make their own rules regarding return. Ensure you get a clear answer from them before buying. They happily take your money and when it comes to returning it, they are terrible.

Too many closed off aisles and this was the third time in less than a year that we had problems with the store brand car battery and they still charged us for labor.

Je n'ai pas pu me faire rembourser par le magasin car la boîte avait été ouverte. Le produit ne fonctionnait pas bien et ne répondait pas a nos besoins. L'emballage était intact, nous avions utiliser seulement une fois. Ils n'ont pas voulu nous rembourser, car un échange de produit était seulement possible. La satisfaction du client n'est pas leur priorité.
Ce n'est pas de notre faute si le produit ne fonctionnait pas bien, on sait très bien quils peuvent se faire rembourser par la compagnie elle même lorsqu'un produit est défectueux.

On m 'a faites marcher 3 fois dans les allés j ' ai 75 ans et c'est un gros magasin, pour qu'ils ce rende compte que le produit en question était pas dans les tablettes.je m'excuse j'ai fais une correction, le produit que je voulais était pas en tablette, il était en overclock, merci, j'ai tel, à votre 1 800. On a changé l'arrivée aux caisses ce qui rend l'attente plus longue et cela complique les choses si on doit retourner dans le magasin on doit refaire le chemin en l'envers et faire des excuses à tous les clients que l'on croise pour passer de même pour sortir si on n'a pas trouvé ce que l'on veut pour sortir pas une bonne idée de la part de la direction l' ancienne disposition était beaucoup mieux

I had a bad experience here a few years ago, I had an assistant manager get very nasty with me when discussing the nuances of the Scanner Code of Conduct after s product scanned higher and he did not want to honor the policy. When I complained to the head office the complaint feel on deaf ears and I never heard back from the manager of the store. For the most part I try not to buy from Canadian Tire, and let's be honest they is very little that you can buy from Canadian Tire that you can't get at Walmart, possibly for less.

They are not work on the good job for my car they forgot to install my somer tire on my car next day I have to return there to install.

They need to open more cashes, otherwise not so bad, beware store has been completely reversed somebody was board.

Good Canadian Tire location. Good sales here and store is kept clean and organized.sales people are nice and helpful. Stock is usually there and selection very good. Nice layout as well and this spot is not overly busy. Will shop here again and highly recommend. Good garden furniture selection too.

Very poor customer service. Had to wait in line 30 minutes to pick-up a web purchase as you could only pick it up at the same counter as returns.

Well organized, we find the price for every small item. All the ranges are tidy and full. One of the best Canadian Tires I have gone in Québec.

Merite meme pas cette etoile, j'ai ramené le vehicule pour un bearing avant, le devis est sorti à 1000$! M'ont sorti toutes les pieces defectueuses, pis encore quand j'ai refusé le devis l'ont baclé au remontage (pedale de frein hors service carrement, un bruit ennorme je ne sais plus d'ou ça vient) puisque tu ne veut pas la reparer tient ta voiture completement hors service

I used to take my car here for oil changes. One day they tried to convince me that the fluids in my car were "too dark and smelled burnt". This is a common car mechanic scam. To be safe I confirmed with my other mechanic confirmed the other fluids were fine. Avoid this place.

I had two bad experiences at other Canadian Tire locations and decided to try this one out for my Vehicle Import Inspection.

The guy on the phone was helpful and once I reached, the guy Reny (/ Remy?) was helpful throughout. He explained to the correctly the forms and procedures required, and when we figured out that I had to install DRL, directed me to a dealership nearby. Was receptive and helpful when I came back and I got my inspection done super fast.

The few employees that you can find don't know anything and tell you to go see someone else and then that person just refers you back to the first person

This was one of my worst experiences at the cash I have ever experienced. Gentleman who served me in the automotive section was great he did nothing wrong even took me to the garage cash as it should have been quicker but for some reason the cashier was taking delivery of multiple lunch orders and arguing over change with the delivery guy. The phone was ringing none stop which clearly angered the cashier too the point where all she did was swore as she put someone on hold and she even hung up on someone. Finally almost 5 mins of waiting she scanned my only item and then I was waiting to pay but once again she was distracted about a min later she scanned another item that not even mine. I feel sorry for anyone who called today at noon as the were left on hold and hung up on by this cashier.

As always, costumer service is terrible. I couldn't find what I was looking for and I had to deal with an employee impolite.

Pire magasin a cent milles a la ronde, tu achète un article, puis on te dis qu'il vont cherchez dans l entrepôt mais ne trouve jamais rien, et ne t, appelle même pas, tu arrive au magasin pour récupéré ton article, on a pas on va vous remboursé, le gérant peu importe qui il est monsieur on devrait vous mètre a la porte cavalièrement.

J'ai été ce matin et j'ai bien aimé le nouveau look plus éclairé et moins serré dans les ranger. Je sais que se n'est pas fini mais j'ai hâte de voir la finale.

Accueil cavalière, inexactitude au niveau des tarifs je m'explique: je passe aux pièces on me donne un prix une fois à l'atelier le prix est booster et sans parler de l'air bête de tous les employés, leur façon de nous répondre comme si on avait garder les cochons ensemble. 207$ pour une batterie j'ai vraiment l'impression de m'être fait fourrée sans me faire baisée. Première et dernière expérience avec eux.

Short employee with a moustach is really arrogant at car service. They are also not shy to take gum/candy from your car.
