Canadian tire.terrible return policy. Customer service (clerks cashiers floor folks is underwhelming) I only buy on "special" here.everything else is overpriced

Horrible service, dont try asking any staff for help. Could not find the item I was looking for even though they had 3 in sick according to the stores inventory

I ALWAYS GOT GOOD SERVICE THERE.

Lors de ma visite le 7 Septembre 2023 après midi à ce Canadian tire j'étais surpris par le non affichage des prix dans plusieurs rayons et sur beaucoup de produits et aussi le manque de personnes qui peuvent aider à informer sur les prix.

Go here for oil changes, brakes, and other basic repairs. My grievance with them is that on two separate occasions I told them the exact problem with the car. They then charged me to evaluate the car and confirm exactly what I told them. I would have appreciated if they had told me that they don't have the expertise to repair the specified problems prior to charging me for an evaluation I did not require.

I stopped at this Canadian Tire after I unfortunately got a flat tire to ask if they could repair it.

They couldn’t repair the flat tire, but told me we could go inside explore the possibilities.

I had purchased all 4 tires at another Canadian Tire location just last year and bought the tire warranty.

The man informs me that they can’t proceed with the warranty because they don’t have the exact same tire in stock.

I ask him to check other locations and have the tire ship to them. He tells me he can check other locations but that I would have to go retrieve it as they do not ship items from locations.

He then told me that the best solution would be to buy two new tires and have them installed on my car regardless of my warranty that I paid for and without any discounts whatsoever since they couldn’t honor my warranty.

After I left, I called other garages around which all told me that the brand of my tire wasn’t discontinued and that they were able on their side to acquire this brand.

Just another lie from Canadian Tire employees to make another buck.

Do not go there for your car.

I bought cycle from this Canadian Tire.
One tire of cycle had no air so the Canadian Tire sales guy filled air in tire and told me that it's good. He said sometimes at store the air is not in the tire and and we fill it when we sell. So I bought cycle and went home.

Next day when I check the cycle to go for ride, there was no air in of cycle so I went back to Canadian tire.
The guy who sold me the cycle told me to leave my cycle at Canadian Tire and they will fix it and call me back.

I waited couple of days and didn't receive any call so I visited and call Canadian tire multiple times to ask about my cycle. They said your cycle is still in repair and finally after 2 weeks they said that they have lost my cycle.

They wasted my two weeks time and energy and just refund me my amount.

When I bought this cycle, it was on discount. Now there is no discount on other cycles so I cannot buy other cycle in the same amount.

Canadian tire didn't do anything for wasting my time. Very bad customer service.

On voulait me facturer un nettoyage des freins avec vérification du niveau d'huile de freins 350$. J'ai refusé l'intervention sachant que le prix d'un kit complet (disques + freins + accessoires) est à 170$ et la main d'œuvre 180$ chez eux.
En d'autres termes, au lieu de faire un nettoyage de freins, on peut avoir de nouveaux freins pour le même prix dans le même garage!
Politique tarifaire à revoir d'urgence!
J'aime bien Canadian Tire pour leur professionnalisme, mais sur ce coup là, ils se sont totalement plantés.

The auto center’s service is gross. They charged me more than 50 bucks for fixing a flat tire however the tire became flat again the next morning. I took the car to a nearby garage and found out that the nail was never removed! And of course they refused to refund the service charge. Will never go back again.

J’ai eu un rendez-vous d’urgence mais au moment où je voulais quitter ma maison, j’ai remarqué il y avait un clou dans mon pneu. Je suis allé à canadien tire et j’ai expliqué la situation critique dans laquelle je me suis trouvé. Mais la personne qui était là m’a répondu avec un sourire moqueur qu’ici n’est pas l’urgence d’un hôpital et je pouvais aller d’ailleurs. Il était vraiment impoli et irrespectueux.

Horrible bicycle's for sale here. I bought a brand new bike off the rack and it had many problems right away. I had to take the bike back 2 times to get it fixed and it still has problems. Should've just bought a used bike: (. They take so long to fix it and never do it properly. I don't want to bring it back here because it's a waste of time.

Online order did not work because of a glitch in the system, went to the store to cancel the order, went to buy exact items in store, now being told I can't use my points with my phone number, need to have a physical card, which of course I don't have, same order online I was able to use the points. Now my points are not online anymore, so I essentially paid twice for these items because of a glitch in your system. And all employees are looking at me like I'm being unreasonable because I am asking why they can't redeem my points without a card. Doesn't seem like customer service is a thing here, the excuse of the online system and out store don't communicate. Bravo CT

Can't complain. Got what I needed and more. Pretty fast considering covid. Plenty of helpful staff. And has great choice for my cat and dog in food and toys.

July 14: Went for car parts. Same 5 star service.

It's a little crowded and hard to move around stuff, but they usually have what I need, it helps to check online first. Not every stop here is 5 stars, but the staff might be over worked. Thanks to the 4 people who helped find and explain my new pool.

Service terrible j'ai demandé de faire les clés importants double, mais Mme au service à fait clés complètement différent. Quel travail, manque des mots. Même pas zéro

It’s their parts department for a failed battery, they told me it was still OK after doing their own <1 min diagnostic test. My mechanic said it was NOT OK. I went back again and sure enough their test somehow gave a different result supporting this and I finally could get my money back. Thank goodness I was able to get my money back. Saying a failed battery was OK…

Beaucoup de produits variés. Par contre, la ligne pour la caisse est longue, surtout le samedi.

Yet another poor experience at Canadian Tire. I thought I would give Dollard Des Ormeaux a second chance and bought a kitchen faucet, plus there was a $5 price discrepancy, so it's almost a deal. Brought the picture of the display taps with the price and barcode to the register to pay. Well, no. Not only do they have to call someone who won't answer, but they didn't even credit me the CT money on the app. So, ten bucks loss for me for shopping at that location. Now I know a message will follow this telling me that it's just not the way they do business and to call the store, but I've already lost 5 minutes of my life waiting on someone there. I'll not waste anymore of it waiting on hold. I like to support Canadian business, but it's obvious why Amazon is eating your lunch.

Nothing wrong with this place. Nice people, courteous service, it's all good. Deserves at least a 4.5 and more.
