J ai ete repondu adequatement, mais pas toujours les produits qui sont en special. Puis offre de Commander en ligne mais comment savoir si la grandeur est bonne.

I usually find what I am looking for. The only problem is the customer service is terrible. There is hardly any help to be found.

While on a tour of Gaspe I had an engine light come on. My diagnosis without an obd2 sensor on hand was that this was due to the rev limitor sensor or misfire. This is a common issue while using Tow/Haul mode on the 3.5l turbo eco boost while descending steep grades when engine/transmission braking is engaged. The computer flashes a code for a misfire on specific cylinders as there is no combustion during engine braking. My request to the service department at Mauger Ford in Gaspe was to perform a simple diagnostic to confirm my theory. My hope was that a 15 minute scan would be supported without issue as we were travelling. Unfortunately, the dealership was unable to support this task to help out a traveller as they had 4 cars in for service this day. Not impressed with this dealership whatsoever. Thank you to Sebastien at Canadian Tire for their support. 20 minutes to scan and clear codes to have us back on the road. For those that care, my suspicion was correct, misfire on cylinders 2 and 6. A direct result of engine braking while in tow/haul mode and engine rpm’s without combustion. Two hours down the road and no codes have come back. Kudos to Canadian Tire and Sebastian for going the extra mile to support stranded travellers. Thank you so much for your fantastic customer support!

Avec la passe sanitaire jfais mes achats ailleurs. CTC naurais pas du embarquer dans ces niaiserie.ils m'ont perdu comme client.

Terrible. Will not be going back after I was given a gift card on my returned item. I was supposed to get it taken off my credit card but they refused. After I use the gift card will never ever go to CANADIAN TIRE again. Terrible place. Would not be recommended buying anything there.

Well.it's Canadian tire, so you got to stop there. Always need something for your vehicle at a good price.:)

Very poor service. Online quantities are always wrong, tired of driving an hour each way to be told they can't find any of the items I'm looking for. Stores like these are the reason I'm doing more online shopping.

Bcp de stock. Mais me faire dire qu’il on pu de pack de trois bonbonnes de propane quand il en a des centaines à l’unité dans des Boîtes de 3-Pack C’est assez ordinaire

Excelent Store, for looking anything else, in específic outdoor sports and tecnology for home.

Beaucoup de choix dans un trop petit local. C'est très difficile difficile de circuler dans les allées avec un panier. Par contre, les quelques rare employés étaient vraiment très gentil et disponible. Même constat pour les caissières. Ç'est comme le canadian tire de la Malbaie.

Un grand gars dans chasse et pêche nous à aider pour nos leurs pis nous à dit 2 spots ou aller le 27 Juillet à 5h30. Merci Man tu as été super fin!

Surcharger, les allées sont trop petites vis -à-vis la largeur des paniers. Les employés laissent en plus des chariots durant les heures d'achalandage pour défaire le stock se qui rend la navigation impossible. Les employés ne respectent pas et ne font pas respecter les flèches directionnelles ce qui rend le magasinage un moment de frustration.

Bien on trouve se qu' on a besoin, par contre on ne traine plus autant dans les allées qu' avant!
Parfois un peu le bazard dans les allées!

J'ai toujours aimé magasiner dans un Canadian tire. J'en n'ai visité plusieurs au Québec et celui de Gaspé nous offre tout ce dont nous avons besoins. Le personnel est sympathique et efficace.

Je suis allée hier, j'avais besoin d'un matelas gonflable. Il en avait affiché avec une étiquette jaune à 29.99$ en haut sur l'étagère. L'étiquette jaune etait directement en avant du produit. Arrivée à la caisse, la facture s'élève à 62.99$ + taxes. Je retourne et prend une photo du produit avec l'étiquette placée devant et j'explique la situation à la caissière, attends un gros 20 minutes pour me faire dire que ce n'est pas le bon code de produits qui est affiché. J'explique à la caissière que c'est le prix affiché devant le produit et que je devrais normalement l'avoir au même prix, elle insiste pour me dire que non, c'est le numero du produit et non le prix affiché.

Description fournie par le propriétaire devrait être en Français, nous sommes en Gaspésie au QUÉBEC, PIS au QUÉBEC c'est en Français que ça se passe. Merci propriétaire.

They never seem to order the products that a show in their weekly flyer. Something is on sale and they only have 1 or 2 in store.

Unfortunately, I had the experience of dealing with Terry at the auto center twice so I can tell you with experience that this is the place you have to avoid at all costs. Terry believes in taking advantage of the people who are stuck rather than helping them out. Below are how my two visits went while was visiting Gaspe 1200kms away from my home in Ottawa:

1st visit - December 17,2019

I got a flat tire and I bring it to the auto center and asked if it will be covered under warranty as my tires were within 5 years. Terry looks at the tire and said no it won't be as the thread is too low. Fair enough I brought my car in and asked if he could look at the threads of other tires if they were fine. All the other three tires were between 4 and 6 points and he confirmed they were fine. He said if something has to happen to other tires he will prorate it and replace it. I was going to change only the bad the tire but he insisted that I should buy two tires instead. I said okay and got the two new rear tires out of pocket. I asked them to swap a spare tire as well and for this change they charged me $15 (more on this later).

2nd visit - December 19,2019

Unfortunately, this time I hit a very big pot hole and busted the sidewalls of my front right and rear right tire. I call CAA and bring the car in to Canadian Tire auto center. Terry confirms that he will cover the rear tires under warranty as we just changed it. But here's the catch we don't have more of the tire in stock so you would have to pay the difference of one tire up. The difference was about $100 more for two tires plus I had to pay for balancing again. I asked can you order me more of the same. He goes yea I can but they won't be here before two weeks and I know you are visiting only for a few days. This is your only option and the store is closing in an hour so you have to make the decision right now. Also, he did not changed the front tire under warranty which he had confirmed on my first visit that will be prorated if something has to happen to it. I said okay please change it and could you please swap the spare again. He said sure it will be $20. I'm like what, you charged me $15 the other day, he fumbled and said oh I did you a favor the other day and we usually charge $20. At this point, I said whatever just change it.

This is my second visit to Gaspe and this was my only bad experience that I can think of. It was painful to see that at a reputed place like Canadian Tire, I get to experience such behaviour. Please avoid this auto center and find some local garage instead when you are in Gaspe.

Le magasin est quand même petit et condensé. Par contre on trouve de bonnes aubaines et les employés sont amicales!

Canadian tire assez petit mais il y’a un marks (l’equipeur au Québec) au moins! C’est pas le plus grand Canadian tire que jai vu. Les allés sont super petits quand meme. Au moins il y’a un canadian tire a Gaspé! Je recommande quand meme ce magasin!

The staff are friendly, and it has everything you need for camping, to tools, to kitchenware, and car parts. Love this store.

Stood at Return counter for 15 mins while the clerk ignored us and counted her cash. She finally saw we were waiting but didn’t serve us rather saying we had to go into the other long lineup. Other staff also saw us waiting but ignored us. The front line people are so important to a business. This front line person work in the stock room. Very unhappy experience.

Faut pas tu sois pressé de payer quand tu va magasiner là bas. Staff super souriant et sympathique.

J'ai malheureusement honte de ce Canadian Tire. Moi qui es habituellement fan de cette entreprise, celui de Gaspé me donne seulement l'envie d'aller voir ailleurs. Trop souvent j'ai dû y retourner par défectuosité du produit, produit étant briser, et malgré le retour, ils le remettent en tablette (produits achetés plus tard par des amis). Le service est également très bas, les employés ne vont pas vers les gens et les attentes aux comptoirs peuvent être excessivement longs avant de pouvoir voir la face d'un employé derrière celui-ci.
Je ne recommande pas le Canadian Tire de Gaspé.
