I ordered through DoorDash. The food came out fast. It was a considerable amount for the price which was amazing. I ordered the fried chicken and it was tasty, fried a golden brown. The dumpling was soft and fresh and veggies had a sweet and sour sauce on the rice. I would say overall the plate needed a little more salt to enhance the flavors but overall I’m full and happy.

One of my favourite places to stop in the area. Always amazing food. Good vibes, great service, friendly staff and customers. Highly recommend!

Wicked food place and staff! Last week I picked up for the first time and thought I had went to heaven. Seriously I went back home eating the most delicious food and ginger beer. Wow I still have the taste in my mouth as I talk about it. I can’t believe I didn’t know about this place sooner. It’s open 24 hours 7 days a week seriously! Wicked wicked wicked and the price is right what a pleasure to support this business. Give thanks One love

From Uber Eats …. 1st time here. Not good at all! The instructions I gave were not followed; the juices are undrinkable due to excessive ginger, and the rice has no flavor at all. The only positive aspect is the pastry. Definitely a restaurant to avoid. Oxtail only fat and bones…. Please close this place. I ordered for 2 so it’s 80$ in the garbage for jamaican food on a saturday night… im mad lol

I don't like to compare places when becomes to Jamaican food, every business is Unic, good taste food like in the golden days:)

Well i went there for breakfast but got a Jerk chicken plate instead. (No breakfast option as of yet).
Well the gentleman at the counter was very nice and friendly.
So here's the verdict: other than the freshly cooked and jerked chicken the dish was very bland.
Rice and veggies had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. The chicken was the saving grace here.
Rice went to the dogs the next day and veggies as well.
If the rice just had a little bit of seasoning (salt & pepper) maybe it would have been savable but my colleague and I felt the same about the meal.
I will surely give it another try but hopefully I'll try to avoid the rice next time.

I should have listened to my family and friends when they said this place was horrible. I ate a plate of stew chicken and some jerk chicken and I’m having so many stomach issues. I never feel sick after eating Jamaican food anywhere else. Just here. And other reviews said the same so I know it’s a food quality issue.

The girl that answers the phone is rude and does not like to help customers who are actually ordering from them.

Very happy this place is open 24h, godsend for late night caribbean food cravings, always well seasoned and generous portions.

I love this place and the convenience it provides being 24h is great and the food is good! But my last experience made me write this. I ordered 2 food jerk and fry chicken through uber eats I would say at about 11: 09am. When ordering through uber eats it gives u time wen the food will be ready. The time that was given to me was 11: 49 am wich I thought was long to be begin with seeying this wasint my first time ordering and has never taken this long. But the food is good so I was willing to wait the 40 mins. When I got there because it was a pick up order after they sent the text that my food was ready not to mention I was actually 5 mins late so I walked in at 11: 56am. Big smile on my face expecting to fill my belly. She said the order isint ready yet there starting it now! I said I placed the order 50mins ago I got a message saying it's ready now Ur telling me ur just gonna start to fry the chicken now. C'mon! She then said it's not her problem she just got there and not to listne to the uber app beaucase they lie all the time! When I tried to explain that I've never picked up food after getting a text saying the food is ready and it not being ready. She kissed her teeth and went in the back! Me being a Jamaican man I get the hole rude lady at the counter but she was to rude she hafto fix up wit dat especially wit a displeased costumer. Try saying sorry and offer something for the inconvenience. Sorry sir can I offer something goes a LOOOOOONG WAY! After telling uber my story they gave back my money and credit for my next order!

Good vibes, really really good roties, great fried dumplings, cheese macaroni.but wished it was bigger size

The roti was absolutely disgusting. It had no seasoning or curry. It tasted like they just put the chicken inside with no seasoning just plain boring taste and they had an eyelash in my roti. I spent $30 for something this disappointing.

Tasty and great value for the price.but you SHOULD NOT EXPECT any customer service. When told them we didn't have dumpling from last order. The female staff just straightly denied that they might have forgotten, never said apologize whatsoever.she literary said; "if you missed something on your plate, it means we didn't have it, we don't tell customer, but all the customers should have known". Obliviously I didn't, and when I was right there at the counter picking up my food, don't you think it's a "COMMON SENSE" to let me know you ran out of something? Or saying a simple word "sorry"?

That's too bad. Period.

Worst Caribbean restaurant around. On uber eats they make items available and then cancel on you last minute. It just happened now after placing the delivery order 15min ago. Be careful with this restaurant. When I spoke to uber support, I was told that they have been having issues with them for a while. Once 4.6 star restaurant is now at 4.0 stars. That should be enough to tell anyone something.

The curried got was excellent but I would not return without calling before and placing my order at lunch time. It took 25 minutes at lunch time to get my meal.

They are polite, friendly & professional, I was doing a delivery and even tho they were super busy at that time. Still I got entertained immediately.

Ordered for takeout and the employee at the counter was very nice and helpful. The jerk chicken is very tasteful and is highly recommended. Prices are good especially for the portion given.

Best roti I’ve had in Montreal so far. Their good is great, and it’s amazing that they also give back to the community!

Vous mettez des photos de Goat Roti sur dordash alors que cest just le goat Curry (donc porte a Confusion) j’ai perdu 50$ dans le vide.j’ai clairement reçu plus d’os de cabri que de viande meme… c’est deplorable le seul avantage est que le gout était bon et que le peut de Viande était tendre, pour la balance c’est très correct.

Le servie est très médiocre en vers les francophone après 20 minutes d’attente je n’avais pas reçu ma commande pourtant très simple, trop simple à leur goût je pense.

Best Caribbean restaurants in Montreal and let me tell you why. They’re open 24/7 which is amazing, their food is easily a top 3 in Montreal (arguably best Jamaican in Montreal) and the prices are super fair. I’ve tried everything on the menu, their jerk is amazing, curry goat, oxtail, ackee saltfish, roti, fried chicken (so cheap too), stew chicken, curry chicken, etc. Cant go wrong with any dish, it’s difficult finding a reliable restaurant like this in Montreal. The plate is a lot of food with amazing sides. Their rice & peas are really good and the dumplings are fantastic. I also like you can order any meat à la carte meaning its just the meat on its own at a cheaper price than the full plate. I also tried their fresh home made ginger beer which was incredible.

OMG best jerk chicken HANDS DOWN! Today was my first time ordering from here, I will totally go back! The girl working at the front was very friendly and so helpful, the place was clean, didn't seem overly busy but there were enough customers that it looked popular enough. I also ordered some chicken rotis and stew chicken for my cousins but they're not here yet so can't give a review on that, but it all smells delicious! Anyway back to the jerk chicken.the spiciness was perfect, rice also had great flavor, and the vegetables and plantain were cooked to perfection! My new fave place for jerk chicken next time I visit Montreal. Thank you it was amazing!

I’ve walked past this place far too many times, and I truly regret not coming in until this evening.

Such kind and polite staff and food was quickly served after I asked for some recommendations. Will 100% be coming back. Goat curry was great, and I’ll definitely be trying the oxtail or jerk chicken next.

Don’t be put off by the quiet dining room, they’re worth coming in to try.

Everthing is spicy, they lie about the level of spice to make a sale and they also give incorrect change. The customer service is horrendous they are so rude. Save yourself the trouble go somewhere else its so not worth it!

Went in for the first time and am definitely coming back! I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly staff. I received my order real fast, and the food was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to try some of their other dishes!

Fell in love with Jerk chicken and plantain in summer of 2021 and ate it once a week. Returning back to Montreal after winter away, I took takeout and was shocked that they have reduced the dish sizes considerably

A'la carte jerk chicken in 2021 used to come as 2 thighs and 2 chicken legs. Now they give only one thigh and one leg but in smaller pieces so it becomes 4 pieces. In 2021 ordering plantain used to be 6 pieces and now it is 4

I wish they would just create 2 sizes of dishes rather than cutting the serving size so much

Up and coming but food was very good.and it is walking distance from the airbnb where we stayed.definitely would go there again.keep in mind it's up and coming but clean and comfortable enough

Jamaican patties and fried dumplings were very good.

Toilet floor sticky, urine filled floor, dirty and even on the toilet bowl.

Asked the employee, who was coming my way in the corridor, where the toilet were in french, the guy completely ignored me and walked passed me without an answer.

When it was time to order, I started to talk to the same employee in french but he gave attitude as he said "I prefer to speak in english", not even a please or an apology, but instead looked up at the ceiling while saying so.

Wow! Food was steaming hot, fresh, tasty. So much flavour. I had the jerk chicken and was Not disappointed. My first trip here, and not my last! Coconut rice on point, veggies and plantain spot on, jerk was excellent and that’s putting it mildly. This was a special treat as compared to any Caribbean and/ or West Indian restaurant food that I’ve had in 30 years! It’s home cooked food on a restaurant front. Clean quiet ambiance. (Although now it’s only take out.)
