Je devais faire réparer mon camion à cette place suite au recommandation de mes assurances. La secrétaire semble aussi mélangé qu'un jeux de carte.personne avais pris connaissance de mon dossier, aucun appel pour m'offrir un rendez-vous pour une estimation et on me demande de leur envoyer des photos pour déterminer l'état de mon camion en disant qu'on va me rappeler et évidemment sans retour d'appel. Aucunement professionnel!

I got great service, they answered all my questions for the timeline, and insurance they did not buttered up anything and gave me the truth. I know what to expect. Let's now wait for the parts to arrive.

Never again, poor communication, poor workmanship as well as argumentative. This shop painted both of my quarter panels without removing the obvious visible corrosion surface spots. This shop just painted and/or cleared over the problem area’s. Per conversation with the estimator I had agreed to pay additional labour (2 hour) to have extra work completed as some of the corrosion areas were not covered under VW warranty (fair enough). After a phone call, he indicated that he may of forgot to note the extra work on the work order… In my opinion, if I was the technician I would have brought the condition of the panels prior to painting to at least make sure the customer is ok to proceed without repair. I just never experienced anything like this, its like a complete oversight or complete lack of pride…Here’s a list of excuses I was given for the shoddy work: Short of staff, too little payable time allowed to perform the repair from VW and our overall technicians are underpaid. Result: Lets just paint over the corrosion (My fault I guess for not being clear enough and not having the repairs I. Writing prior to work start) Lessons learned. Very unfortunate situation overall, not to mention the need of a redo at my cost. I repeat, stay away!

The bumper is visibly a lighter shade of red than the previously dented fender. There's also a visible pimple in the paint.

They informed me after the fact that they had someone drive my vehicle to another location and back for a wheel alignment without my consent. Definitely wasn't too happy about that.

That being said, the owner called me directly to address these issues and I really appreciate that. It showed that they take customer complaints to heart.

Attention avant d’apporter votre véhicule ici, voici l’intérieur de mon auto suite à une réparation. Intérieur très poussiéreux et endommagé. Vraiment déçu et j’ai toujours fait attention à mon auto.

Stay away, you will get screwed, it’s official. It is a family business and all they care about is screwing as many people as possible. If possible, they would get less than 1* …. The positive messages are most likely buddies and family members.

After an accident I brought my car to this place, the repair process went with no problems obviously after a crazy amount they charge the insurance company for NOT a big repair, anyways.
After a while I noticed a weird sound under my car when my engine raves I ignored it the first time thinking that it was going to go away. They sound came back again I decided to call them to see if they could check the car (obviously the sound was not there before the accident) I went to the place and it took them a while to come out and help me.
They call the insurance to tell them about my issue (washing their hands out of the trouble of inspecting my car) someone came out and asked me what the problem was and I explained, to start off I don't know about mechanics at all but I do know when my car is making sounds, then this person ask me to start the car and rev the engine and he said he identify the sound and this was his answer: "this is not related to the accident, those kind of sounds are normal for véhicules after certain age, if you want have your véhicule inspected at your own cost and if they find something bring it back" I was like WHAT? , clearly this is negligence or laziness to check my car, after charging the insurance a crazy amount of money they didn't even bother to check the car and see if they missed something.
Please do not take your car to this place and if your insurance suggests it ask for another one, this is not a professional behaviour because this weird sound wasn't there before!
Mediocre job as they said they fully inspected the car, and even more mediocre not taking the time to check it back when i brought it for the second time.
TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

Suite à un dommage de surface/peinture à mon véhicule, je me suis présenté chez Carossier Mont-Bleu, un peu desemparé, et tout de suite on m'a mis en confiance, avec un accueil professionnel et courtois.
Bruce Hamel a été bien généreux et très disponible, en répondant à toutes mes questions et en m'expliquant les travaux qui seraient requis sur mon véhicule. Il a pris en main mon dossier et s'est occupé de moi et de mes préoccupations ou inquiétudes, du début jsuqu'à la fin, toujours avec patience et courtoisie. Le travail a été fait rapidement et professionnellement. Pour vos répérations/peinture de carosserie, ou autre, Je recommande ce commerce sans hésiter.

Excellent centre de réparation! Pour l'évaluation des dégâts: Rapide, courtois et professionnel. La réparation est excellente. En plus très prudent pour la covid. Le personnel a l'accueil est excellent. Que du positif.

I purchased a used car this summer and noticed signs of rust making bubbles under the paint on parts of the car. Having noticed the same make and model have rust issues in my area, I decided to have those areas repainted to avoid issues down the line. I asked for a different paint colour on those panels only (rest of car is white) they are on board! They were very very thorough and were in contact with me to explain the steps as they found more rust than expected (pictures shared along the way). Even looked at my breaks letting me know to keep an eye on them:) Safety first!

When I picked up the vehicle.despite the fact I was only having it painted.the interior was even cleaner than when I left me car with them. I wasn’t expecting that! They are very professional and super detail oriented. I was so happy!

I can’t speak about someone else’s experience with this company, but my personal experience is negative. I have found that when a business makes a mistake how they address it –or not- reflects the quality of the company and its people.

I took my car to Carrosserie Mont-Bleu in 35 Audet, Gatineau, QC, J8Z 1Y1, and at first, they were polite. However, after receiving my car and paying for the repair on September 17,2020, I noticed a hole in the leather on the steering wheel. At that moment I reported the damage and at first, they denied touching it -even though they had certainly driven the car. The person I talked to identified himself as the owner, Bruce Hamel, and after saying that he was not going to pay for a new steering wheel and me clarifying that I was only asking for the damage to be repaired –nothing more- he said he’d look for options and would call me the following Monday.

He didn’t call as agreed and I called back on September 24. He asked for more time and I agreed to wait two weeks and then find a solution. Again he didn’t call and I called him on October 14; he asked for more time and I agreed although the two weeks had long passed. On October 16, he called me –the only time he has called me- and said that he had found a used steering wheel and he’d have it the following Monday or Tuesday.

Again he didn’t call and I called him once again on October 27 but I was told he was busy and couldn’t take my call, so I left once again my name and phone number and he hasn’t contacted me since. Therefore, I had to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
