La salle était magnifique, le repas était correct. Par contre le service n'était pas parfait. Nous avons demandé un tire bouchon pour ouvrir notre bouteille et il n'en avait pas.

Food was good & tasty. Service was great as well. The coffee, however, needs improvement.

Alex and his staff took care of our M*****c Ladies' Night event according to our plans. The hall we reserved (there are several) was the right size for our group (46), equipped with an upright cooler for our beer and wine. The meals were very good, and served in timely fashion. We had ample time to set up and tear down, and when we had meal additions and no-shows they accommodated us the best that could be expected. If we had a small problem it was that the hall next us was playing music REALLY loud and washed out our speaking guests. Not the Casa's fault, however. I recommend them nonetheless.

Everything was delicious. Even hot for so many being served at once. Very generous portions. Staff was very pleasant, atmosphere great.

Not exactly gourmet food but a fun place for gatherings nevertheless. Some of our food arrived still frozen in the middle so there you have it. - reply to the reply below - This was a Spanakopita dish - we had three in our party and all three were frozen inside. I did ask to see the manager and was told by a waitress he wasn't available. No big deal - just won't return.

BEWARE: I have never been so insulted as I was in my life when dealing with the owner of this business.

We are an italian family and have been throwing large weddings and events and using reception halls since my family arrived in Canada. We have used Casa Reception for 3 family celebrations before this instance. Each time the procedure was the same. Your negotiate a price, make a deposit and then after the event our are billed and pay.

Well yesterday for my cousin's engagement party things were drastically different. With no warning or notice, the owner demanded full payment at 15 mins before the start of the event. Threatening to cancel our party if it someone didnt make the entire payment.

They cited new policies post pandemic as the reason. THEY HELD OUR EVENT HOSTAGE AND DEMANDED IMMEDIATE PAYMENT BEFORE ANY FOOD OR SERVICE WAS OFFERED after my uncle had paid their deposit.

Has the service industry lost their mind? Is this they way we do business now. Take a credit card on file, ask for a bigger deposit or at the very least inform your clients of your non-industry standard policies.

The post pademic backlog of businesses for Halls will end and I recommend stronly our find somewhere else to host your party. The do not care about their clients at all and the owner was extremely agressive, rude and arrogant.

EDIT: THE OWNERS ANSWER BELOW IS TOTALLY INDICITIVE OF HOW RUDE AND UNCARING THERE ARE. The point was not what you did but how you did it. Instead of informing us of your policy or asking for payment you waited till the day of and held us hostage by saying you could cancel if the event was not paid before hand.

My uncle deserved the option to choose a different hall based on knowing our policies. I think anywhere that demands payment in full in advance of a meal does not have confidence in its level of service or quality of its meals.

Omg! I found this Hall last min and I couldn’t be more happy! The best place ever! Raja you were amazing thank you so much to you and your team for making my daughter’s birthday unforgettable! Everything was just perfect, the sweetest staffs ️️️️️

It's a reception hall, bright, spacious, vibrant colors. Offers various options based on the type of event. We attended a promotional realtor event, two rooms were easily converted into a large "ball room" and decorated accordingly.

Went to a private Christmas work party.
Food was good, except chicken defrosted and watery. Dessert was delicious but maybe late, lots of the guests had already left. (Took some of those pieces of cake home they served all the servings anyway.)

Lower volume when we're getting food.
Usually, we can, if given the opportunity, enjoy a good conversation with fellow workers during a meal. There was plenty of time between services to put volume up and get the guests dancing. That's what happened anyway just had to ask him a few times to give us a break from having to scream to the person next to you.

Not recommended at all, small Reception, no place for dance, very bad food, from my experience I had a welcome party for my newborn baby and for example: I asked for house salad but what was served is lettuce with caesar white sauce (I can't imagine what is) and when I asked the manager there, he told me that is the salad maison.
And for the main dish, I asked for chicken grilled, it was very bad taste and was not grilled, it was cooked inside the oven.

This is no longer a restaurant and since it has changed, the food is not as good. It has nice halls for receptions, but the last time I was there (June) I found the service and food were not satisfactory. The salmon was dry and the service was slow and uneven. We have had many parties in the past 15 years and it's not what it used to be.

Went for a 50th birthday party. It's a nice hall. Clean. But at $50 head per adult, $25 per child, i find it pricey for what you get.

Very crowded as a lot of parties are at the same time. Food are of nice portions but lacking a bit of taste. For drinks and ice you constantly have to remind them ti refill it as they don't check regularly. The clean up after the meals are ok. No problem for DJ to hook up system and the place generally looks nice.

I just held my second event at Casa Receptions and have to say that it was a huge success! Nick, the manager, is exceptional, the food was delicious, and the service was amazing. I highly recommend Casa Receptions for any type of special occasion! You will not be disappointed. Thanks again Nick and everyone who made our event special!

I've had 3 parties here already, including my parents 50th wedding anniversary two weeks ago, and nick the owner did a phenomenal job, and went really out of his way for me! He was very accommodating. The service was great, and the food was perfect! Its a beautiful place. I thank him so much! I would definitely recommend casa reception for your parties, you will not be disappointed!

It is wonderful restaurant but know the name is" Casa reception, and the atmosphere is quaet and plaisant, the personal is nice, the food almost similaire like in casa Greek, so I liked this and would go again.

Had a 50th party there the owner Nick was fantastic he is friendly with a great sense of humor! He went out of his way to help us choose the right hall was so helpful with the menu his waiters are fantastic his prices ae fantastic and offers even better deals for Friday night occasions (which we had) the food was super tasty and the plates were generous, good parking, and immaculate bathrooms I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you Nick and staff for a great evening

Service was okay. Asked for more bread was told that I need to wait 30 minutes. They never came back. Salad was salty. Bread was delicious. Salmon was well seasoned and cooked. Chicken was overcooked. Wait time for food was over an hour.

This used to be a restaurant with a couple of private event room rentals.
Apparently, they are now ONLY a venue for private functions. It is in a small strip mall in a residential neighborhood. We were there for a birthday party. Food was surprisingly good, and very plentiful for those with hearty appetites. I personally felt the service was only "ok". Entire venue (common areas, private room and washrooms) were very clean, considering there were quite a few events going on at the same time.
Plenty of free parking.
