Excellent school! They use a different way to teach and truly help student to acquire learning technics. Both of my sons are smart boys but struggled in the regular program. This school is a blessing. Thank you to the dedicated staff.

I am giving a one star because I can’t give a zero rating. Student safety is not a priority for this school. Homeless people living on the property in a tent. Started off as one person went up to five men and one of them parks their car in parking lot. Called the school over the last month said they rent the property meanwhile the children are playing unsupervised in that area and these homeless people do not have a background check…. Insufficient supervision…. They bought a bed with red sheets … and members of the community have been discussing the safety of the kids…. I made a second phone call but the call was polite and dismissive…. I pointed out to her that kids when they go missing they are never found…. Waited a week they did not do anything…. So I called the City and within a day or two the squatters were removed….

I will not recommend paying $22k a year for this when your child can be safer in a public school setting…. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE KIDS This should not happen…. IN THE FIRST PLACE. The secretary did not take the problem seriously and I won’t be surprised she did not report it to the principal due to inaction and the fact that I had to take care of the safety of Centennielle Academies students, incredible!

Please don't go here. I personally haven't been to the school, but I almost got sent there. I have dyscalculia and ADD so my parents figured this school would be right for me, turns out it wasn't. The principal and teachers talked to my parents privately and told them even though I wasn't autistic they would treat me like one and they also would send me away with them and would never tell my parents what they will/would do to me or what happens. They refused to help with my dyscalculia or ADD and instead said they would put me on medication for AUTISM when I didn't actually have it which is dangerous. Before my parents applied me to go there I got diagnosed to see if I had autism and I don't and they even had the reports for proof of everything, yet they refused. I can't confirm if this is a terrible school since I haven't gone there, but from the first impression it sounds really sketchy so don't go here.

Edit 8/1/2023: Just wanna clarify- I was recently diagnosed for autism, so I do infact have autism. At the time when I wrote this review I said that I got a "diagnosis" for autism but it wasn't an official one, I am actually autistic. But I have high fuctioning autism, and I don't need medication for it. It still doesn't make matters any better though since there was no proof I was autistic at the time, so they could've put a student without medication on autism too. Also, they did not clarify to my parents what medication that would've been, which I find highly suspicious.

Never go there. I'm saying this as an old student of this school. They said I may have had autism when I didn't and that's just because I wouldn't attend school as much because I had a job during week days sometimes. They didn't want to tell me why they thought I had autism, they just said I had to get it checked and start medication. And no, I did not start medication. They're just money hungry m*therf**rs. Can't y'all realize you're paying a little bit less than half what you win in 6 months, just for this school that isn't even good for your child? No but seriously. Never send your child there. Except if you want them to commit.

Best school for our son who needed extra help. I have never seen more dedicated staff who want to help each student succeed and reach their goals. We will be forever grateful for everything they have done for him.

I’m currently in grade 8 in Centennial and it is one of the BEST high schools in Montreal. All the teachers are nice, they always give me helpful resources whenever I need help.

Administration is a huge problem. Students are arbitrarily kicked out of the school. Administration will lie and manipulate. If you don't stay under their radar your child may be subjected to abuse. It's horrible to pick on the vulnerable.

School has no facilities, had problem with racism, also no programs. I visited a new school and immediately thought to myself that it was an actual real school. Dont go here

Terrible. I had an online interview with this school last week. They requested the interview at the awkward time of Monday at 4: 30 pm which I was not available for. We later rescheduled for Wednesday at 10: 00 am. The interviewer never showed up. She said their was an emergency. Finally, we met on a Friday at 3: 00 pm. This school's proprieties are all off with late day scheduling. One wonders what they actually do during the daytime.

I’m writing this 2 and a half years after I’ve graduated I had problems with passing grades and the school of course it never worked for me but they pushed me hard and too be honest in the days of being there they made me feel like I Was weak a nothing but today I can answer that the reason i am here today is from them throwing me under so bad and family aswell that I had too realize my well-being by myself I hope nothing but the best for them
Thank you for helping us out during the 9th grade
all I have too say is if your child doesn’t have serious disabilities you should be considering other schools who shall push them too know themselves
Thank you for making me realize who I truly am Maggie’s and centennial

Excellent School! One of a kind in its teaching methods. Amazing teachers. Our child is slowly learning to become independent, his grades improved a lot.

The worst school I have ever been to teachers are super rude and don’t care about you at all most of this students have problems which made me very uncomfortable the principal was the worst he told me to give up on my dreams because I had bad grades I had a bad attitude the first couple of weeks so the school said we can expel you or go to a group home. I have a loving family that does without me and these principles separated me with my family. Later on I found out the school gets paied for sending kids to the group home so everytime someone worth to be in trouble they are sent there and DO NOT go home after the 8 week min time period is done at the group home this is the worst school I’ve ever been to DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE SAVE YOUR MONEY I WOULDNT EVEN WENT TO SCHOOL IF I HAD THE OPTION

I was in this school for 2 years when I was there for the first year, I disliked it but it was tolerable but the second year I was there, I was arbitrarily punished throughout basically the entire year. Eventually I got kicked out for SHARPENING MY PENCIL. If you are considering sending your children to this school, don't. You could literally give your child any book and they would probably get a better education then they would if they attended Centennial.
