I went there to changed my tires and found a puncture on one of my tires 3 days after the service. I drove only 10 kms after the service so it was not likely that I picked it up on the road by accident. When I asked him, he and his wife insisted that the tire was punctured before I sent them to the shop. They said that the nail’s head was flattened and rusty so it was an old puncture. However, as you can see from picture 1, the nail was not even fully embedded into the tire body (still partly sticking out). OK fine I sent the tires in with a puncture already there, then can you please patch it? They said no because the puncture is “too close” to the sidewall. And if I wanted to patch it, then I had to sign a statement to free them from any liability caused by the patch’s failure. What they wanted was to replace the two tires together with some used tires, and that certainly would earn them quite some money. I went to another auto repaired shop nearby, and they patched the tires without even having to discuss with me about possible danger due to “puncture too close to the sidewall”.
Also, there was nobody in the shop during normal business hours, and they put the muddy tires in my trunk without using any plastic bags, and did not provide any paperwork. A backyard mechanic can do much much better than this…
补胎之后发现有钉子，联系以后不承认，说钉子原先就有。不想和他们争论，就说那我正常花钱，请给我补，结果被忽悠说位置太靠近轮胎边缘，要我签免责协议他们才给我补，一定要让我换两个二手胎。我把车开到附近另一家店，他们二话不说就给我补好了，根本没和我讨论需要换胎的问题。
这家店的服务也很差，把有泥水的轮胎直接扔到我的后车厢，弄得没法清理，而且连正规的文书/收据都不提供，实在是一言难尽。
回应你的质疑：没有人会为了省30元的补胎费把有钉子的车胎卖给别人，因为他不可能恰好在想卖轮胎的前一两天才扎钉子。他如果还想继续自用哪怕一两星期，也必须先补上才行。我买的时候也不会不检查，而且你也没“发现”。抛开是不是你有意/无意让我的车胎扎钉子不谈，我就想问你为什么我的胎明明可以补，你却说我的车胎没法补，非要卖我两个二手胎？还有我明确要求你给我的轮胎做动平衡，我也付了这项服务的钱，为什么轮圈上的铅块还是旧有的，根本没有动过的痕迹？
您一个劲地说我不该买别人用过的轮胎，看来您对此意见很大啊？是不是因为没在你那里买，没让你挣到这个钱，你不爽了所以才捣的鬼？
Reply to his post: he insisted that the problem was because I bought a used tire without hiring a professional inspector. I don’t have to be a professional inspector to be able to tell if there was a nail or not. Even if I missed it, it was unbelievable that he missed it during the work.
Also, you still did not answer my other questions: first, why did you say the puncture position was not repairable when it clearly was repairable? And I have a new question for you. I asked you to balance my tires, why the lead weights were totally untouched? Did you happen to find that the new tires were geometrically identical to the old ones (see pictures 3-6) ?
