Brought my twin toddlers to see Dr. Spiro for their first eye exam. He and the team were kind and great with the kids, the exams were easy and thorough, results and future steps explained very well. The kids were not scared at all and able to do everything asked of them, super experience.

Excellent experience for both myself and my 7 yr old daughter. Srsly, for two.daus now she has been going on about how much she liked her eye doctor. Professional and honest.

Since 2017, I've had the privilege of being a patient of Dre. Hamel, and she remains consistently caring, efficient, transparent, and knowledgeable.

I highly recommend Dr. Gauthier. She checked eyes for my 5 years old daughter. It was her first eye check, I am happy to she passed so many tests! Doctor is so professional, and very loving too!

I had an emergency as I scratched my right eye one late afternoon. I found Optika, explained my situation. The person at the front desk said "We will fit you in no problem" I saw Chrstina for pictures of the eye first. Then I saw Dr. Ariana Arambulo. Simply FANTASTIC!
Gave me such a thorough exam of the eye and explanation. So well appreciated! Also prescribed what drops to take. Thank you so much!

Was with Dr. Hamel for my first visit. Beautiful experience, felt at ease and taken care of.

Staff were pleasant and very helpful! My Doctor was thorough in examining my eyes and explained everything that they were checking for. They also have a great selection of glasses, I went with the Munics for look and lightness.
I will continue to go to Optika from now on!

I booked the appt for my toddler based on their web site. This location IS NOT child friendly! They had 10ppl waiting in a small space, expect you to wear a mask but yet, booked too many people at the same time. They failed to explain that the exam would take over an hour (we were there for almost two hours and she didn’t even complete the exam!) because they made us wait 30min and then, when we were in the Dr office, she asked us to go back and wait again so she could finish with another patient. The machines are NOT for young children, it was cramped, uncomfortable, the questions asked about me and my family made it feel like a sales pitch (trying to get more client, more business) instead of
Focusing on my concerns for my young daughter. I will never go back!

To clarify, we were there for almost two hours because we waited 40min from the time we got there and when we were called into the Dr office, she immediately asked to us to go back out and wait again. There were no drops given at all.

Met with Dr Lasry and Dr Trottier as well as Mr Stephane Uzan (optician). True professionals, knowledgeable and patient. A true gem in our west island community.

First time here today and had a great experience, everyone from the receptionist, technician, Dr.and the girls helping with frames were so kind. Dr. Hamel was so patient and answered all my questions. She is very thorough and takes her time. I would definitely recommend Optika to my friends.

I was a little disappointed by Dr Katrine Machado's service. She did not make me feel comfortable asking questions. Essentially I was trying to understand my child's state, but she was quick to snap on my first question. It was the first time that I've ever felt uncomfortable asking questions about my child's medical visit.

4 mois sans pouvoir lire? Je me suis présentée à l accueil parce que mes lunettes de lecture étaient brisées. Le seul rdv proposé était le 22 septembre soit dans 4 mois! Accueil et service à revoir.

Le personnel est très courtois et professionnel. J'ai eu mes lunettes en dedans de 5 jours ouvrables.
Je recommaderai Optika sans hésitation.

All the optometrists specialize in their respective fields and have pursued continuing education! Extremely competent. Lenses are superior to most places! Great assortment of frames in all price ranges. Highly recommend.

Depuis des années je suis cliente pour mes lunettes et contacts, normalement je suis suivi par Dre Provost. Mais lundi dernier j'ai du consulter en urgence. Dre Lasry m'a passé entre deux clients. Elle est très attentive, a fait un examen en profondeur malgré le retard que ça lui occasionnait. En aucun temps je me suis sentis brusqué. Je n'ai que du bon à dire de cet endroit. Oui, il y a eu des frais mais aucune hésitation car je préférais ne pas aller dans un hôpital en temps covid. Pour terminer, je recommande le Centre Visuel Optika et tout les précautions sont prises.

I would like to personally thank the receptionists who worked today (9th of december, 2020) and the optometrists Mrs. Lasry and Mrs. Trottier (I believe) for being very comprehensive about a problem (which was my fault) with my documents that I had them complete during a previous examination.

They went out of their way to aid me as much as possible and helped me correct the documents on a very short notice, removing a lot of stress off my shoulders.

I will make sure to recommend this clinic to everyone who is looking for an optometrist in the future, their customer service is impeccable and everyone who works there is very friendly and comprehensive.

Dr. Trottier is a fantastic optometrist for children. She is patient, courteous and professional. She explains extremely well to children and parents. She definitely wants to give you the best possible solutions for eye care. She is extremely knowledgeable and cares about her patients!

In general, I would review a place that I had physically been to, but in these pandemic times, things worked out a little differently. My review is therefore based on the recent interactions that I had via phone.

I've been having eye problems since early April and after being seen 'urgently at the Institut de l'ceil des Laurentides, I was unable to get a consult for a follow-up when I was still having issues. A friend suggested that I reach out to her optometry clinic, which is how I found Optika. I consulted their web site, which provided clear details on how they were currently working as well as how to reach them. To avoid bombarding them with a phone call or long-winded voice mail, I emailed them and explained my problem. To my surprise (and relief!) I received a callback super quickly from Dr. Trottier, who went over my issues with me. She then called in an Rx to my pharmacy. Fast forward to yesterday, when I sent a follow-up email because yay me - still having a variety of eye problems. I sent another email to explain what was going on. I received a voice mail to let me know that my file had been left out for Dr. Trottier to review, and she gave me a call today.

While I haven't met Dr. Trottier in person, I found her to be extremely friendly and personable, attentive and receptive to questions. She took the time to explain things and never made me feel like I was bothering her (I had a lot of questions and they seem pretty busy!). Since I don't live on the West Island, she helped me with the purchase of eye drops via a supplier who will ship directly to me.

I would highly recommend Optika (and not just during a pandemic)!

I have really bad seasonal eye allergies and Dr. Spiro is always able to fit me into his busy schedule. Thank you!

There can be a delay at times do to the thorough service received, but overall a dedicated team with the right intentions. Lenses a little more expensive than others, but in exchange for good quality. A good place for those that need close attention to detail related to their eye health.
