My experience with this company was really bad. They said they would help me get my background clearance from Iran, but they kept delaying it until I missed my deadline. Now that I missed my deadline they refuse to refund me.

I recently renewed my passport through Chaparex, Montreal (January 2023).
The customer service provided by Chaparex in Montreal was exceptional. Every time I called her with a question or concern regarding my passport renewal, she answered politely and with great patience.
Thank you for delivering on your promise within the expected timeframe (it takes 6 or 7 weeks now, and I receive my renewed document exactly 6 weeks after submitting my application)

Chaparex is not recommended at all, especially at the moment.
My documents, which were complete, were sent on November 7th, and after nine weeks, I recieved a new passport on January 13th (It was supposed to arrive after a month).
I am in a terrible predicament! University forbids me from enrolling in winter semester even though my study permit expires on March 3th, preventing me from recieving my salary and terminating my bus pass. This is because the study permit expiration will not entirely cover the semester.
Neither Chaparex nor the Iran embassy provides me with reliable information regarding my passport status.

While I was under a tonne of stress, I texted Chaparex employee to inquire when my passport would arrive, but they didnt respond. When I inquired about my passport status, she merely responded, "We are following up your request. " they said that we sent the Iran Embassy in Mexico City a list of individuals who are urgently in need of passports, but this was not true. Besides, calls to the Iranian Embassy were scarcely answered. Finally, my father went to Iranian Ministry of Forien Affairs in Tehran and informed them of my predicament; therefore, they made contact with the Iranian Embassy in Mexico City to quickly renew my passport. All in all, I am not satisfied with the service I had from Chaparex. THEY NEVER ASSISTED ME IN GETTING MY PASSPORT IN A REGULAR TIMEFRAME.

I have read all comments! Of course, the Chaparex employee is polite; however, it does not make a difference to me; I require my passport.

I would not ever renew my passport in Canada if I were you. Passport renewal in Iran is the most convenient, affordable, and secure option. Both Police+10 (takes a week, and the price is cheap) and Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (takes a day, a bit expensive compared to Police +10) can renew your passport
