Charbon Steakhouse

Mes deux amis et moi avions prévu d'aller voir les feux loto-québec. À 15 minutes de marche était situé Charbon. C'était aussi une excuse pour essayer leur steak.

J'ai pris un bloody Caesar, leur viande vieilli 45 jours avec sauce au poivre, un à côté de fromage bleu, une pomme de terre garni et une pointe de gâteau au fromage. Le tout pour un peu plus de 100$. Cher, mais délicieux. Peut-être que mes amis et moi y retournerons lors des prochains feux loto-québec.

Nad (ine?) Gaudreau était notre serveuse et a constamment gardé un œil sur notre bien-être du début à la fin.

Très beau restaurant, mais service un peu rapide.
Très bon steak, mais la cuisson demandée était plus ou moins au rendez-vous et il contenait un peu de tiraille.

Mon mari et moi sommes venu souper pour notre anniversaire de mariage! Nous avons été servis par Nadine qui nous a donné un service hors pair merci bc à toi tu a fait notre soirée et quoi dire du repas! La soupe au palourdes delicieuse et les steack! My goddd! Je vous le conseille fortement!

We always had a great experience at this restaurant. It si our favorite Quebec city restaurant. Every time we go to Quebec city, this si where we have dinner and we recommend it to everyone. Sadly, Tonight was horribly deceiving. We were seated in a table right next to the discharge station where the waiters clean the plates. We asked to be moved, we were told there is no other available table and all the tables are reserved and that we can sit outside if we wish. We were there for 2 hours and literally only 1 couple was seated on the 6 empty tables next to us. When the food arrived, all the sides were dry in all of our plates, as if the plates were pre-filed with the sides and heated and when the meal was ordered they cooked the meats and put them and serve. The celery paste and the sauces had a crust on the surface.sign of excessive pre-heating. And for some reason, there was no room for discussion or opening for understanding tonight. It's just too bad because this was our favourite restaurant in Quebec city. We are very very deceived by the experience. I hope this gets fixed to not lose more clients. You are known for your delicious food, please don't gamble on it.

Superbe restaurant avec une belle ambiance. Lumières tamisées, petite musique ambiante et service génial. Bravo à Michel qui a su combler toutes nos attentes avec passion et minutie.

Superbe resto, service très moyen, nous nous attendions à beaucoup mieux, grosse déception, le pire tartare de saumon que j'ai eu l'occasion de ne pas manger - z

Personnel on ne peut plus agréable et accueillant. Nourriture très bonne et de qualité. Le tout dans un cadre et une ambiance chaleureuse et chic.

Seul petit bémol: la climatisation un peu trop fraîche.

Excellent resto! Service impeccable, mention spéciale au serveur L-F Duquet, service très attentionnée! Nous avons adoré notre visite! Notre première fois, mais certainement pas notre dernière!

Food is tasty, but it took about 1 hour to get my filet mignon. Also it is overpriced 75$ for my filet mignon plate.

Nous avons passé un très bon moments sur la terrasse avec un incroyable service. La nourriture est de haut niveau et l’expérience fut agréable. De plus, ma conjointe cœliaque fut bien conseillée.

The ambience of this restaurant was worth the visit. The steak was excellent, although the calamari was not as good as I have had. It was my birthday and I was surprised with a slice of cake that was yummy indeed. Definitely would recommend this restaurant.
